Yukiko let out a light sigh as she waited for Katrina in a cafe in the city, munching on a blueberry muffin as she waited. 'Wonder where she could be.. She's a little late..' The kitsune thought to herself, twirling the fur on her tail. Yukiko's demon fox companion Kai sat on her shoulder, surveying the area and keeping an eye out for Katrina. 'I see her..' Kai replied telepathically to the girl, which prompted Yukiko to look out the window of the cafe, seeing Katrina approaching. A wide grin crossed the girl's face as she waved at Katrina. Katrina was the first friend Yukiko had made here..
"Nice of you to show up, Katrina!" She teased.

 〠☾ Never one to rush, Katrina was the kind of girl who arrived to most things fashionably late. There were only a few things that she ever stressed over, so her whole demeanor was constantly emitting a calm vibe. As she approached the café, she was spotted by Yukiko's companion, prompting a wave. She entered, making her way to her friend's table and responding to her teases as she took a seat. "I got distracted at the boardwalk." She picked up a menu, hiding part of her face as she admitted, "There was a cat. A really adorable one. Like Kai's kind of cute." There had been more than just a cat, but it had been because of the animal she was late. Not that it mattered too much, there was still plenty of time in the day. "How are you?" she asked after another moment passed, her expression kind as she waited for the answer. Yukiko was a good friend of her's, and she was also a fellow charm bearer, which meant that her health and safety was a top priority in the town.

Yukiko giggled as Katrina hid her face behind a menu and said there was a cute cat and she got distracted by it. "At least it wasn't something shiny. I'd be fascinated by it for hours and you'd be the one waiting, heehee!" She teased, grinning a little. Kai huffed a little, and spoke. "If it was something shiny, you'd be gone for days." He replied to Yukiko's comment about being gone for hours. Yukiko blushed a little from the embarrassment of Kai's comment. It was true though. The girl was always easily distracted, and shiny objects distracted her most. Cute things were next in line. Luckily Yukiko hadn't seen the cat, or she would have joined Katrina in cooing over it.
Yukiko looked to Katrina as she asked how she was, and smiled a little. "I'm alright. How about you?" She asked.

 〠☾ Yukiko's response prompted a small laugh, her expression calm as she said, "Well I'm glad I wasn't early, then!" She glanced back to the menu in front of her, lowering it to rest normally on the table top as she considered their sandwich choices. Kai's telepathy to his companion was heard partially by Katrina, her mental walls still flimsy after her morning. She concentrated on blocking out the thoughts from other customers and the workers around them, but it was taking more of an effort than usual. Thus, when Yukiko asked how she was doing, she answered truthfully. There was no point in lying to a fellow charm-bearer, the bond between the three was almost sacred. "My abilities seem to be...less controlled? I guess that's how I'd explain it." Her expression shifted to one of slight confusion over the matter, since it really didn't make sense. Usually, she had a firm handle on blocking out thoughts and preventing visions, but she had had a vision the night before, and it had left her a bit shaken up. "I had a vision last night-" her voice cut off as their waiter approached, a boy who was probably a local high school student. Katrina's demeanor was polite, but not forthcoming as she order a turkey sandwich and lemonade. Remaining quiet, she waited for Yukiko to order.

An unusual and small frown crossed Yukiko's face as Katrina explained her abilities were less controlled. When she said she had a vision, Yukiko's eyes widened in interest. She seemed a bit shaken up, and that couldn't be good... A more concerned expression crossed the kitsune girl's face, as she studied her fellow charm bearer's expression. She was about to speak, when their waiter approached and asked about their orders. Yukiko smiled at him politely and glanced over the menu, as she hadn't looked at it much, despite Katrina being a tad late. "I'll have a blueberry muffin, a grilled chicken BLT and a sweet iced tea please." She said warmly, smiling at the boy politely. The boy nodded and wrote down their orders, before retreating with the two menus and giving the orders to the cook. He returned with their drinks soon after, before leaving until the food was ready.
Taking a sip from her sweet iced tea, Yukiko returned her attention to Katrina. "So... About your vision.." She began, setting her glass down. "I'm guessing it wasn't pleasant... You seem a bit shaken up and distracted." She added with a concerned smile.
{{OoC:: Will do! <3 Oh! And Kai's able to speak out loud, too. Italics are when he's talking to Yukiko, and Bold and Italics are out loud. Just so you know. ^^}}

 〠☾ Seeing a frown cross Yukiko's face was surprising, but considering their topic of conversation, Katrina didn't mention it. Still, a frown on her face, a girl who always smiled, meant that she was taking the situation seriously. Before she could continue speaking, the waiter had to finish his job, so Kat remained silent as he collected their menus and left to retrieve their drinks. Only when she had taken a sip from her lemonade she spoke again, her tone serious. "It had to do with the town..." She nodded when Yukiko said she looked shaken, and she knew her mind had been distracted all morning. "And me. And a new diplomat, I think?" Because her visions were so rare, Kat had almost no experience in dealing with them. This made each one hard to decipher, and she had to wonder how much was meant to happen. "I know the gems were in it. Mine was taken...I saw it in the hands of a hunter." Now she was frowning, her brows furrowed as she tried to remember more. It wasn't much use, she knew, since flashes of the vision would reappear at random times; at least until the event finally occurred.
Raising one hand to her right temple, she massage the area of her head for a few seconds, trying to cast aside the confusion she felt. Slowly, she was managing to gain her mental barriers again, as she hadn't caught a single thought from anyone else in the café for several minutes now. When their waiter returned with their food, she lowered her hand, flashing him a smile before he left again. Once he was out of earshot, she looked back to her friend and said quietly, "I just don't know if I should tell the Council. It may be nothing, and I don't want to lose my responsibility of the gem over nothing." It may sound selfish, but the emerald Kat carried was an important object in her life, and it would feel wrong to trust it to anyone else. She knew she could keep it hidden and safe, but her vision had been clear on that single point, putting her at an emotional crossroads.
{ooc: Sorry for the delay! I feel horrible about it >w< But I hope you're feeling better!}

Yukiko gasped as Katrina explained she had seen a vision about a hunter who had stolen her charm. "Did you see their face?" Yukiko asked in a panicky voice.
'Calm down Yukiko. Panicking won't solve anything.' Kai said mentally, as the waiter passed by and the demon fox familiar didn't wish to freak him out.
Yukiko nodded as Katrina expressed nervousness about informing the council about her visions. A small frown crossed her face. "If you feel like you should tell them, but don't in fear of losing your gem, then you're already doing wrong by not telling them and risking its safety." She said softly, hoping not to offend her close friend. A small smile formed on Yukiko's face as she continued. "If you feel strongly about these visions..." She paused, before putting her hand on Katrina's momentarily and patting it gently. "I'll support you and come to the council with you. If they try to take your gem, they'll have to take mine, too." She finished in a soft voice and smiled warmly at Katrina.
{{OoC: Don't feel horrible! Or better yet, we can both feel horrible. XD I've kept you waiting, since I've had bad migraines and been stressed with offline drama x___x So I'm sorry about that!}}

~Hello LadiesSalomon walked into the cafe. He was in need of a cup of coffee. His day already started on a not so fun note, but that wasn't going to get him the rest of the day. He notice some cute girls and sat down not far from them. It didn't take long for a waiter to come and ask him what he would like. The man answered with his choice drink and a sandwich. Once the man was gone he turned and looked at the girls. The older looking on was most beautiful, but she probably had a boyfriend. "Hello." he kindly said so it wasn't like he was being a creepy guy staring at them. Are you interested in marriage~

 〠☾ Katrina shook her head when asked if she noticed the hunter's face. She wasn't even completely sure of their gender, but she didn't add that bit of information. In most occasions, it seemed like her visions weren't worth the trouble they gave her; so much was still left up in the air. She supposed it was because the future was fickle thing. Her expression shifted, however, when Yukiko spoke again. A few creases of worry smoothed out as she nodded slowly. Of course. You're right. It's silly of me to act so selfishly when it's our job to keep the Veil safe, no matter the circumstance." Kat managed a small smile, allowing herself to be comforted as Yukiko placed her hand on her own. The contact allowed her to feel more of her emotions, and she relaxed further, letting more of her confusion ebb away. Now, she was determined that they enjoy their food. It wasn't everyday that they were able to meet up in a casual setting. "Thank you, Yukiko. You're always proving to be an amazing person." She grinned, leaning back in her seat only when their waiter returned with their food. The sight made her smile widen; she hadn't even noticed just how hungry she was.
Picking up one of the triangular pieces of her sandwich, she took a generous bite. The turkey sandwich was one of the main reasons she came to this café, since they used ingredients that were locally grown and not treated with certain chemicals commonly used in the larger cities. She was still chewing when she heard someone speak. Turning in her seat, he noticed a man at their side. He was an older gentleman, and she noted his expensive clothing. She swallowed her food quickly and took a sip from her lemonade before saying politely, "Hi." Her expression was kind, since she knew that Janhall was full of friendly greetings. Still, she was tempted to reach out with her powers to find who this man was, but she resisted for the sake of privacy.

Kalula Willaims Owner of a quaint little bookstore...is that all?
Kalula walked with a heavy heart into the cafe and set herself up with a seat not far from the counter. She took the window seat in a cute little booth and with a heavy sigh she pushed her hair out of her face and began a session of heavy thinking. She made sure to grab her shoulder bag before leaving the store and hurriedly fished for her laptop. She went to the address given to her by the novels but found only a burned door that was very locked. She was also escorted off the premises by a very angry old women. She was told by her the address where the sister currently lives and went to talk to her. The conversation was very mixed and to be honest she wasn't happy about the results. She recounted the conversation and redid it in her head. What she did get from the girl was that her brother was obsessed with a certain ghost story that he read of in a book he bought online. He loved ghost stories but this particular one stole his heart.
She said he would read it every night and could quote it easily. One thing that stuck in Kalula's mind was just how passionate Toby was about it. That was the ghost's name...Toby, and his sister was Melysa. The facts in her head were settling difficultly. Soon enough though a waitress came around asking for her order. "I'll have a slice of pecan pie, with some milk please..." The waitress exited with her order, leaving Kalula with her thoughts. She cross referenced Toby with Janhall and found alittle bit more about him.
"I told you to go away..." An all too familiar voice spoke from next to her. "You're gonna get her in trouble." Beside Kalula in the booth was Toby, the guy from the article. "Who was that other guy I saw earlier...was that you too?" Kalula asked softly only to be met with a scowl and a shaken head. Kalula kept her voice down as she spoke to him, so as not to make anyone look and see her talking to the air. "That was me, a better part of me...and both of us want you to go...go or you'll get her in trouble." Kalula was beginning to lose her patience with him but chose not to let it show for now. "Who is her? Are you talking about your sister?" Her words caused him to howl almost angrily and he instantly shifted back into the strangely dressed ghost who threatened her earlier. "Do as I said!" He growled and vanished, leaving the pig tailed girl lonely. "I don't follow orders..from ghosts." She grumbled as she continued to research.

 Yvette and Lucy walked into the cafe. "If Donny gets here first then we'll be fine, if Lyn gets here first then Donny will probably make a run for it." Yvette warned her sister. "Take Lyn to the bathroom if she gets here first." The woman made up a plan. The sisters found a table and sat down. It was a good thing that Donny got there first. He could be seen outside the cafe with his large white wings which disappeared before he got through the door. After a moment he went up to lucy and Yvette. "It's been a long time." He commented as Yvette jumped up and hugged him. Donny gave a sad smile to his friend and hugged her back. "Who'd have thought you'd grow so handsome. I then I need to dump Caesar right away." The woman joked.

 ♈❃ Entering the café alongside her sister, she slid into the booth opposite. Listening, she nodded when Yvette laid out a solid plan should either party get here first. Luckily, the easier arrived first. Lucy watched as Donny's bright wings disappeared, and remained quiet as he approached their table. Flashing him a smile after Yvette had greeted him, she said, "Hi Donny! Long time no see~" The Angel hadn't visited Spain in such a long time, and he had changed so much since the last time Lucy had seen him. Not just in appearance; he seemed...sad. Standing up from her seat as well, she gave Donny a hug while discreetly positioning him so that he would sit on the inner part of the booth. That way Yvette would be blocking his exit, just in case he still tried to run.
Lyndis wasn't sure what to think of this town. It was just so small that she wondered how her planned on raising three kids here. In fact, she had been completely surprised by the prospect of her city-loving mother moving here that she had decided to visit Janhall herself. Yes, it was quaint and complete with white picket fences, but Lyn had always preferred huge skyscrapers and trememndous freeways. It was how she'd been raised, so it was how she planned to live. Still...no one could deny the value in this town. It had managed to lower the Veil, after all.
But none of that mattered right now. The only thing on Lyn's mind was the fact that her best friend was in town! It was so uplifting to realize that Yvette was so close after spending so much time apart. Pulling open the door to the café, she slipped off her sunglasses and stepped in, letting her eyes adjust to the lack of UV rays. The first few moments were awkward as she tried to spot Yvette and her sister, but she found them quickly enough. Picking up the pace in her steps, she approached the booth, only to halt when she realized that a third person sat with the sirens. She stood only six inches from the table edge, but her body was rigid as she took in the sigh of Donny. How long had it been since she'd seen him last? Not long enough for her to forget how handsome his hair was or how gorgeous his lips were. "Don? She fought against the water that welled up in her eyes and managed to maintain a level tone. Still, she didn't move until Lucianna made her. Taken off guard by the princess, she was shoved into the booth and trapped between the wall and Lucy. "I–hey! Lucy? Yvette!" Her shock was cast aside and replaced by anger now that she felt cornered. It really wasn't ever the best idea to trap a lycan. "Tell me why I have to sit across from—from him! Her tone was sharp now as the spell of seeing her lovable Donny disapparated and the view of him was replaced by who he was now: the man who broke her heart.

 Donny didn't care that he had a spot on the inside. He knew it was Yvette personality to assert her dominance when and where see wanted. He fight it until Lyn came into the building. Once she came in Donny started to panic and push Yvette to get out of the way. The woman spoke one word that stopped him. "Pregnant." She told him and he stopped. He couldn't do that to a pregnant woman and she wouldn't lie about something like that. Yvette smiled at her friend. She couldn't move from her spot, but she waned to hug the girl. "Lyn it's been like a zillion years." She said in her giddy voice. "Great now that all of us are here I need to find out what you guys want. Want a whole Pie Donny?" The angel looked at his friend. "I don't eat sugar. I'll just have a coffee, black, please." He told his pregnant friend. "Lyn?" She asked the girl across from her. Donny couldn't lift his eyes, but he would peek when Lyn turned her head away. She was still beautiful. He was just the bad guy for breaking her heart. He had been a fool, but there was no turning back now. He was a solider and not going to leave until he was done with his training. He was paralyzed by the woman. He could say he was sorry or tell her hi. He was crammed into a corner and couldn't spread his wings to fly. Once Yvette ordered the food she turned to get back to business. "So I didn't call both of you to get over your little heartbreak problems, we'll not really. I want both you to be the godparents to my baby." Yvette told the two with a smile. Donny turned his hand into a fist. It showed that he was upset by it. "You know you're not in a good position to have a child." He commented not looking at anyone. He was too afraid of Lyn. "I'm young, stupid, and in love, by I will be having this baby." Yvette responded. "I don't know how far you too got with each other, but you know the feeling." Donny loved it when he cuddled with Lyn on her parents couch. He couldn't do it at his home without his dad being around and her parents were often gone. he would leave sweet kisses everywhere he was allowed to. Sometimes on her fingers and toes and sometimes on her lips.

Yukiko smiled at Katrina and nodded as she agreed with her. When she thanked her; a small grin crossed Yukiko's face. "No problem." She replied, blushing slightly at the words of praise that she was an 'amazing person'. The girl took a sip of her drink, noticing a man had said hello to them. Looking at him a tad strangely, the kitsune girl nodded in response. "Hello..." She replied hesitantly.
