Fluttering his little wings and bobbing his head around he had a huge smile on his face.It was almost like nothing was going to ruin his little day. The sun was rising and the snow was slowly melting.Which meant he could redo his braids and make them all nice again.He loved to make himself look nice,even though he had nothing to look nice for.Just a happy face and a raise of happiness is what he was out to do.He didn't have any other purpose besides to make people happy.
"Where are the butterflies?They would add a nice touch to this wonderful day!" Suraldia kicked up his back legs and made a click sound with his hooves. Spring was coming and so were the butterflies.He was so excited for it to be summer again.All the nice faces and the ones he could try to help.Maybe a partner in crime would help him even more with his adventure.
Though Suraldia wasn't much for love.He didn't even know what it was,so...wonder if he did find that partner?How would he even know if she was the right one?Oh goodness,Suraldia,You silly little orange pony. He giggled softly to himself and kept on his way down the path of the meadows. He couldn't wait until the sunflowers and the tall grass that was way above his height grew.Would try to jump around trying to see over the tall grass and the flowers. Watching the humming birds,bunnies,birds,and all the other cridders running around and having a blast.

Candy walked into the most charming meadow. It was just right for a small Usida like herself. She was rather happy since it was one of the first days of spring weather, and the snows were finally melting, if not melted already. The rain showers were making everything grow like weeds, not to mention making everything green again! She stopped and sniffed at a few of the first peeking buds of wildflowers.
She loved it when spring came; it meant that warm weather and outdoor fun would begin again, not to mention that the larger plains would be open and safe to run in again. Snow was fun, but she had to be careful as the drifts would trap her if she stepped unluckily in the wrong place.
She giggled to herself and though that she loved all seasons, but she loved to be outdoors more and no seasons offered more of that than spring and summer!
She went on her way, closing her eyes, breathing deep and smelling the fresh air of spring. She stopped again and opened her eyes and looked around. Everything was right here.
Perhaps one day she would start a family and live near here. It just felt right here. It was close to the two-leggers who helped her from time to time, and it was close to the woods so she could find adventure there.
As she looked around, a spot of orange stood out. Perhaps some early flowers?! She set out towards the patch of orange, and wondered what kind of flowers there were there.
Soon she stopped walking when she saw the patch move and change places! Oh! It could be a Soq! Perhaps they were here looking for flowers too! In any case, it could be a new friend!

He heard another soquili near by.Who was it?A mini like him?! That would be the icing on the cake. Another small one. "Hello!" He called out.Hoping they would answer and that they would be just as nice as he was.
Suraldia hoped that this would be the spark of something new.Someone to travel with. He bounced around and laughed a bit.It felt great to be out in the bright new grass and smelling the nice air.A bright beautiful mare would top it off just fine.
Suraldia had been searching for just that.A mare to adventure around with.Keep him company.Something different among him.Make him a happy camper,hopefully her too!

"Hello!" Candy called back happily as she came closer to the moving patch of orange. As she came closer, she saw that it was indeed a Soq, a mini at that! Candy smiled and said, "It's nice to meet you! My name is Candy Corn!"
She breathed in deeply and said, "How are you this fine day!
She could smell the heavy perfume of the blossoming plants, and it made her feel more giddy than usual. The sun was out! The flower's blooming! And here was a new person to share it with! Could this day get any better?
She bent over and plucked a small flower from the ground and placed it in her mane feeling as happy as spring looked after a long winter.
