It took a moment for Cobalt to realize the portal of sorts Nis had created, and was spiked in curiosity as to how. He was about to ask before the trio just blindly hopped into it, not seeming to worry about where they would end up. Deciding to dismiss the even, and the portal that would eventually close off, the orange mage ultimately teleported himself tot he Manehatten laboraty, dedicated to House Regard and its members, in order to further attempt his progression of making teleportation magic easier to use. Upon his arrival, he collapsed from the exaustion the spell he used, but slowly arose while visibly shaking. "Ach... Few miles, no problem, couple hundred kinda hurts" Cobalt Lightning speculated out loud. One of the bystanders offered aid, but he politely declined as he finally stood back on his hooves.

By the time he regained his senses, Cobalt gasped along with everyone else upong hearing the words 'what's all this do?' He calmed himself as he approached the trio again, still obviously dazed. "False alarm, nothing's happening!" he yelled to the crowd who slowly went back to their research. Finally, Cobalt recognized the trio, or at least he assumed from his slightly blurred vision and a face that would make him look a tad bit drunk. "Well, small world" he said, trying not to slur his words or even fall over for that matter. "Careful with saying 'famous last words' in this branch. Last guy that did kinda spontaneously became a skeleton."

From Night Hawk's offer, Cobalt Lightning raised a hoof as if to decline. "As much as I would like that, no thank you. I kinda need this feeling for my research" he explained, followed by a sigh. "So long as you're not working on anything dangerous, and you've taken the proper precautions, you've no need to fear injury, mental nor physical."

From Nis berating Cobalt about his own progress, he stood up straight and answered with "No, I helped with this spell" as he simply cast up a small magical field, looking little more than a sparkly ball of cobalt blue liquid. "It is the simplest Magia Extera incancation, and its flexibility is limitless." during his explanation, the orange mage shifted the small orb of magic into various shapes effortlessly before ultimately splitting it up into a large number of smaller orbs, no bigger than a large marble each. Some of the younger mages in the same room watched the lesson intently. "Due to the simplicity, Ars Dynamicus can also receive simple inscriptions, most common being Animatio Rerum, which gives it a peculiar effect." Without warning, one of the cobalt orbs changed to a more red hue and took off, with the other orbs giving immediate chase. The orbs danced around one another as it appeared the blues were trying to collide with the red, each leaving a short trail of the same color. The younger students watched with joy, and a couple of the older researchers smiled at the show while most ignored it. As the blues finally hit the red, the various orbs finally disappeared, leaving Cobalt Lightning to say "Hence the term Magic Missile. It's basic, so it's extremely weak in combat, but its flexibility gives it that edge to be as effective."
