Recently you've heard of divers who dove to the sea floor to gather up pearls, food, and other interesting things from the sea floor. Curious as to how these non-Merkora or Peisio Dovaa are managing to dive so deep for so long, you go to the village sea port where the rumors are coming from. (They are on all continents, you choose!)
You approach and ask a person who's preparing a bag and looking like they are waiting for the ferry to come in. As you talk to them, they tell you about the diving, how some are using some Bahikal Saliva(which has magical properties and allows one to breath underwater), others are borrowing hte powers of Ayrala's ad taking a bubble of air down with them, and yet a few others dive with out magic. Apparently this man(or woman if you want!) has a apprentice.. who is sick at home. He asks if you wish to join him, he dives without magic, but his apprentice uses the Saliva.
As the ferry comes in and you join him (cause you know, that's the whole point of this adventure!) he shares his techniques and shows you how to put on the flippers and Saliva. He also tells you what to look for: the large shells of clams encrusted with barnacles have the best pearls!
The dive down and what happens is up to you! Maybe you spot the dark shadowy shape of a Svatrin slowly cursing below you, maybe you see Merkora, or any of the sea creatures! You dive deep, the Saliva (if you need it) making the trip more comfortable as you can breathe.. though the pressure of all that water gives you a head ache! Roll to see what you bring back up with you!

Still waiting for Kirosh to finish whatever it was he was doing for the Tribe, Kadryn wandered down to the coast. While in town she’d heard of Orderites who went diving deep into the see to gather pearls. Curious as to how they did this, she decided she might as well go check it out since she had time!
When she arrived she saw one older female Orderite, pale teal in color with wavy blue hair not unlike her own. Kadryn walked over and asked her what the diving was all about.
“Oh that. We do it cause we love the challenge.” The older woman grinned, “Plus it’s always fun to show those Dovaa we can do it too!”
“How do you do it?”
“Well, some use this.” She held up a jar full of a pale slime, “Bahikal Saliva. It’s magic and can help one breath under water for a time. Others borrow an Ayrala’s power, some use Dragon souls, others pay a Dovaa or Kehora to help them. I just dive without them. Practice and more practice till I can hold my breath for a long time.” She peered up at Kadryn, “You interested? My apprentice is sick today so I’m diving alone. I’ve got his gear here if you want a go at it!”
Not loath at all Kadryn readily agreed. To get to dive, how much fun! She used the Saliva though... gross as it was she wanted to not worry about running out of air. Kadryn was glad she had small feet for once. They fit into the younger man’s flippers quite snugly! Wearing nothing but the skintight breast band and hip wrap, Kadryn dove down after the older woman, Kira by name. It was odd breathing underwater, but wonderful at the same time. She found herself getting distracted by the slightest thing. Kira waved to her, motioning for Kadryn to follow. Kadryn followed slowly, breathless at the sights she saw. She wanted to show them to Kirosh! I’ll have to get some of this Saliva and have him come diving with me. She thought with a grin. Though he’ll probably get distracted considering I’m not wearing much!
The water around her was a deep blue, darkening as she went deeper. Streams of pale bubbles came from those depths, there must be fish or other divers down there. She saw a pod of Trifen flash away their bright colors dancing in the small beams of light reaching from the surface. When she reached the floor of the ocean, she saw it was like beach sand, soft and small grains of pale quartz. Kira was nearby harvesting some clams. She motioned for Kadryn to help her. Kadryn took the handful offered her and sat staring about her, feeling the pull of the tides, hearing the odd sounds of the ocean booming in her ears. The plant life here was odd, not leafy at all! But very colorful, reds, blues, some yellows and purples. Once Kira was done, Kadryn pushed off the soft sand and swam back to the surface, giggling as the streams bubbles caressed her skin, enjoying breathing out and making her own bubbles. Looking up, she saw the shining rays of light in the waves above her. I could get used to this view! She thought with a smile.
Back on board the boat, Kira showed her how to pry open the clams and get the pearls.
“Got a good haul today. You can keep these ones. Oh, the clams also make good eating so you got lunch out of this too!” Kira said with a grin. Kadryn thanked her and headed back inland, eager to find Kirosh and tell him of her adventures.
