Naerdiel had been playing with Arina for a while, her mood and spirits lifted after meeting a couple wonderful Soquili. The past few days had blessed her with the ability to meet a few inspiring souls. There was Gareth who was mysterious and caused her to be curious and then there was Pavlov who she wanted to meet again. Pavlov seemed like an older brother type when she thought of all the Soquili she had met in the past and now in the present. She was in such a good mood she wanted to play and run and just roam all day long. Arina was confused though she would place a bet on it, she would normally mope and trudge around trying to find some sort of happiness. Though for some reason, happiness seemed to have found its way to her on its own.
The sun was high in the sky and there was still plenty of time to play but she wanted more. She wanted more to play with, she loved playing and chasing Arina around but it wasn't enough today. Naerdiel grinned down at Arina and then looked around. "Today we will search for another to play with." She started to trot around, pep and happiness clear and shown in each step she took. It was probably over doing it but she didn't care. She wanted to enjoy her happiness and wanted to express it anyway she could.
As she was trotting around, she spotted a small water source so she stopped for a drink. The cool water soothed her throat and cooled her hot body down. She continued to drink until she had her fill, she finished but waited for Arina to finish as well. With water in their bellies and an object in sight for the day they were ready to set off to find someone else to join in on their play day.

Eva was slow and took everything slow.All she ever did was walk,unless she was in danger of course. she wasn't much of a player,nor did she do much at all.She was hoping that the meeting with her old mate would change things,but it only made her a little bit more depressed than she expected it to.It didn't work out and he didn't remember her. He may one day,but she didn't know if she wanted to take the time to find out.Eva was just hoping someday would bring her happiness and life to her eyes.
All she ever was depressed,emotionless,and very empty.Her family was gone and she was the only one left in her world. It was so very lonely. Nothing ever came to make her just a little bit more happier.
She came upon a little spot of water.A nice drink would've been nice.But she noticed a other taking up some spots of the water.Eva would wait until the other left because she wasn't so good with interactions.

Naerdiel and Arina didn't have to search far, there was an interesting looking mare standing a little ways before them. "Hello there." She greeted the other mare and even gave a heart warming smile. She backed up a bit in case it was the stream that the mare was interested in taking advantage of at the moment. "It is all yours my friend, we've had our fair share." She backed up a little more and thought about how rude it might be for her to watch the other mare drink. Instead she decided to run and play with Arina while she waited for the mare to finish if she decided to partake of the stream.

Eva looked up when the mare started speaking out to her.She was being so nice?All the ones she met had been hard headed or just didn't want anything to do with her. Friend?What friend?They had just met. Eva wandered foward toward the small body of water.
She dipped her pure white muzzle into the water and she looked back up watching them play around.Eva remembered doing that with her siblings and her mother when she was younger.When they were alive. Eva moved back away from them as she kept watching them play around."Thank you."She said softly out to the mare and the fox.

Naerdiel stopped playing and then looked at the mare. She was a beautiful mare, mostly white but with red odd markings that swirled into hearts. It was intriguing to her and it made her all the more curious to know about the mare. "Your very welcome. I'm Naerdiel." She moved closer to the mare but slowly in case she was easy to startle and scare. "Would you like to play with us? We don't bite I promise." She gave a small smile to the mare and was begging her on the inside of her mind to come and play with them. It was a little lonely with just the two of them, it would be much more fun with another.

"It's nice to meet you..I'm Evangeline.."She said softly and watched them both come closer to her.She stood there with a blank face and barely any happy sound to her voice. They both were interesting themselves.Eva was a bit confused when they asked her to play."Play...?"She said softly and looked around a bit. She remembered how to play but she just wasn't up for it. "I don't know.."Eva inside wanted to,but her outside depression was blocking any type of emotion to come from her.

Nae turned her head in confusion, she was trying to understand the mare. "You don't know what Angel? Is it okay if I call you that? I think it is a very fitting nickname." She smiled a wider smile at the mare and then started to trot around the mare to observe her completely. She was starting to like Evangeline and all her interesting markings and personality. It made her all the more curious to know more about her and get to know her on a personal level. She wanted to become closer to the mare but of course that would take time.

If Eva could,she'd give the mare a weird face. "I guess its okay."Eva kept her eyes on the mare."I don't really...play."She said softly and stood there with her bangs in her face. She kept her blood shiney red eyes on her still.Eva seemed a bit worried in the mind about what this mare seemed to be planning.She kept walking around her and almost gazing at Eva with those eyes. The mare was gorgeous herself,but Eva wasn't the one to fall for someone so quickly.

"You guess it's okay?" Nae stopped in her tracks and looked at the mare's red eyes again. "Don't you know?" She was starting to become all the more curious. The mare was resembling Nae on her days when she was depressed and down because of everything around her. "What would you like me to call you then?" She decided to ask more questions, she needed to get some sort of emotion from her. Some kind of emotion was better than none right? Nae was a little concerned about the mare and the fact that she doesn't play. A bright idea formed in her head and she decided it was a pretty good one to play out.

She wasn't sure what to say.So she kept quiet until the mare asked about her nickname."Eva." Came out her mouth as almost a whisper."Just Eva." If they became closer,then maybe she could start calling her that. But this mare was planning something,she couldn't stop thinking about it.What could it be? Nothing could bring out Eva's emotion besides love and compassion. That's all she wanted,but she hasn't gotten that in years since she seen her family and her mate.But since her recent visit with her mate didn't go so well..she wasn't worried about him so much anymore.

"Eva is pretty too, you can call me Nae if you want to." She tilted her head to the side wondering why it was the mare would be so sad. She lifted a hoof and touched her lightly then dashed away. "Tag! Your it darling Eva. Now you have to catch me and tag me back." She grinned mischievously at her and then spun around in circles and started to slowly run around waiting for the mare to chase her.

Eva wasn't moving. That isn't what she did.The mare was just trying to get a damn reaction out of her."Okay,Nae."She said softly and watched the mare move around like she did.It seemed so silly,Eva wasn't going to move around and play.She stood there staring back at the mare.Eva too wanted to see her reaction.See if she'd wander away like the rest at the end like all the rest.

Naerdiel was a little stumped and confused as to why it was Eva wasn't playing with her. "You really don't like to play do you?" She spoke the words softly and sadly, she was starting to get discouraged that there wasn't going to be much to know about the mare. It seemed really hard to get emotion from her, anything at all really. Nae was starting to become a little sad for the mare. "Eva, what is wrong?" She decided to ask the age old question hoping that maybe the mare would open up to a stranger and tell her what it is that is on her mind and weighing her down.

"Something that is too long to explain."She said softly. Eva looked away from her and started moving back towards the small body of water. Taking another small drink,she felt refreshed in her throat. Nice cool feeling. She was being honest.It was too long to explain and most would just run away.There was one stallion she almost fell for.But after she told him,he ran off the next morning and never came back.
