bio: ever since he was a youth Nis was obsessed with the advanced spells and magic that has either been declared unsafe or forbidden to practice. Once he got out into the world he became noticed by royalty, not only for his genius but for the potential threat he could become. he was unhealthily obsessed with dangerous magic and seemed to create amazingly powerful spells every so often that though they had valid uses int he world they could easily be misused to cause horrible problems even death. And so he was taken into the royal researching groups as both a way to use his genius for the better and to keep a powerful eye on him.

special circumstances: a very rare occurrence caused Nis to age incredibly slow furthering the suspicion of his possibly illegal research and experiments. as a result to his aging problem he has lived many years past the time he was supposed to, leaving him much older than he looks, and he does not look young.
