Okay, maybe he had gotten in a little over his head.
Allegro was off in unfamiliar territory, just having an innocent look around when he came across a rather interesting looking mare. The fact that she was a kalona, and thus most likely dangerous, hadn't really crossed his mind. Introductions had been made and now he had managed to say something that made him look like an a** and he was quite clearly being glared at.
Was it better to run now and hope he wouldn't be chased down or... "Uh....sorry?"Phail Ninja Just winging it. If its not alright let me know!

At his inflammatory comment, Pyralis' infamous temper flared to the surface. She bared her teeth, letting out a low hiss at him. "Excuse me?" It was bad enough the stallion had come near her own territory, but that was excusable, she had treated him with a cold indifference. He, however, didn't seem to be taking the hint, and dropping comments like that certainly weren't helping his case.
"Sorry? You're sorry? She took a slow, measuring step towards him. He was as plain a stallion as could be, in terms of weapons. No horns, no talons, not even a tactile tail or a horn like the unis had. His build wasn't particularly bulky, not did he look like a muscular warrior. Fighting him would be almost too easy, not worth her time. But that didn't mean she couldn't scare him half to death. She walked a slow circle around him, a face of controlled fury turned towards him. mistalina13 Completely fine! XD Oh my gosh I'm so sorry this is so late x.x I can be so terrible with RPs Dx

Pyralis' intimidation seemed to be having its desired effect. Perhaps in his curiosity he had gone a little too far. Well, it was a little too late to be having second thoughts now since she seemed a few heartbeats from causing him considerable harm. "Uh huh." Not very helpful, no, but Allegro had no idea what else he might say in the situation. Hopefully it wouldn't make her more angry.
He took a step back when she moved forward. The kalona's assessment of him was quite correct, he had no real way of defending himself...unless one counted running. Which if she kept moving toward him he might very well turn and d just that.

Well. Either the stallion was utterly idiotic, or she'd already managed to scare him witless. Pyralis wasn't sure which she preferred, neither were overly appealing. Where was the challenge? How had her great herd been beaten by these utter... buffoons? "Uh huh." She mocked, her lips rising into a sneer as she continued her slow circles around him.
"The great big oaf is oh so sorry for his little comments, eh?" She let out a hiss, taking a step towards him. Even if he ran, she would be able to catch up. Pyralis may have been small in size, but she more than made up for it in speed. Not to mention she had wings, and flying could easily outpace even the most fervid gallop.
She pressed an ear back, on the one hand this stallion was hardly worth her time. One big scare and he'd hopefully be sent squealing away in terror. On the other, she was just so bored and he was presenting her with the perfect little opportunity to have some fun...
