BRIEF SUMMARY OF FEARFICTION: A warrior princess seeking meaning in her life eventually finds it in the jagged, cold embrace of destruction.
ENTRY HERE:
There once was a princess who was a great warrior, and for this reason they called her The Warrior Princess. She was incredibly wise and talented and strong and nobody was better then her at anything.
Anything.
But The Warrior Princess was unhappy. For much of her life, while killing things and bathing in the blood of her enemies, she would ponder what it was that she was missing. What could make her happy?
Perhaps a man was the answer. And so, one day, she decided she would find her man. She took her time, because she wanted the best. Nothing else could possibly be good enough for her. Eventually, she found him. A man the size of a bear with strength to match. She was, of course, stronger, but he was the best she had seen out of many men. He did not seem to care for her, however, so it was with great joy that she beat him up, until he could no longer stand and instead found comfort in sprawling out in the dirt, unconscious. Nobody said no to The Warrior Princess. It just was not allowed.
With her prey incredibly handsome and burly and strong but not as strong as her man now lying beaten and bloodied in the dirt, The Warrior Princess was easily able to drag him to her love nest, that wasn't really a nest at all but a cave where she was able to keep him until he accepted her undeniably amazing self because he knew he could not do any better. He would be hers forever, or at least as long as the ropes that kept him bound held, and she could now be happy.
But she still was not happy. Not completely. Only a small portion of the hole inside of her had been filled. Eventually she surmised that this was because of The Broken Promise. The Mysterious Witch Woman had promised something, but then her power was taken away, and the promise could no longer be fulfilled. She called for The Warrior Princess, one day, knowing that only her, in all of her beauty and great powerfullness, could restore the power that had been taken away, and give back to the land the promise that had been stripped away.
The Warrior Princess agreed to the task, on the condition that she would no longer be just Princess, but Queen. Since she was so incredible and The Mysterious Witch obviously found The Warrior Princess incredibly attractive, a deal was struck on that day, and The Warrior Princess began her quest to return the power that was lost, all while dreaming of becoming The Warrior Queen.
Tasks were completed with barely any effort, because The Warrior Princess merely needed to flex her muscles and all bowed down before her, far too frightened to take her on. Sacrifices were made, all very bloody and exciting sacrifices that made The Warrior Princess dance and cheer happily. The Mysterious Witch should have been able to fulfill the promise, now. She had enough power because blood is powerful stuff and makes vials turn black and makes magical things happen. The Warrior Princess was filled with excitement. Now the world would be hers and surely the hole would be filled! Her clothing, from that moment forward, would be gold.
However, with worlds enslaved and her rise to Queendom in grasp, and with The Bear King at her side, Warrior Queen still felt a gaping emptiness inside. She took to finding the Mysterious Witch, who had gone missing for many years as she often did because she was so very mysterious and liked to hide to make herself seem even more mysterious. She soon found her, however, because she was so intelligent she easily worked out where The Mysterious Witch was hiding.
"It is destruction that you seek, child." The Mysterious Witch informed her, calling her child only because The Mysterious Witch herself was so very old and decrepit.
With those cryptic words in mind, The Warrior Queen sought out destruction wherever she went. She burned and pillaged and made the very earth red from all of the blood that she spilled. She though that it would make her happy, but it did not.
And then finally, one day, she was visited by an ethereal being. It was Destruction, not just the action but a person. Or rather, it was a goddess. Destruction had seen what a great job The Warrior Queen was doing and sought to bestow upon her a gift. She gave The Warrior Queen one gift, and The Queen, who was still wearing a lot of gold, even gold panties, because it reminded her of her own pride, which was very important, thought long and hard about what she wanted, before finally coming to a very important realization.
"It is you that I desire, and nothing else, oh great and powerful goddess. I wish to be with you. I have had a taste of pride, but now, it is only destruction that I wish to have in my heart."
The goddess smiled at The Warrior Queen, and embracing her, turned her clothing to red. She was now The Red Warrior Queen, and the most important person in the world. The hole had been filled and The Bear King and The Mysterious Witch became her servants forever afterwards. They had no choice because The Red Warrior Queen could now kill them just by looking at them if they refused because she had developed superpowers.
