The Organization
Vampires, Witches, Wizards, Necromancers, Shape-shifters, and Faeries have always lived in secret beside humans. Centuries ago, to deal with crimes involving these races and their threat of being revealed to Humans, The Organization was created. They are tasked with keeping the Races a secret from Humanity. This includes minor crimes, drugs these races create, as well as murders. There are branches of The Organization all across the world with the main branch making its home in England. The races that willingly join The Organization are Witches, Wizards, and Necromancers. The remaining Races have treaties of no aggression towards The Organization. However…they aren’t always followed.
Miss Murder
Case 1
The Miss Murder branch of The Organization resides in the Southeastern United States in Charleston, SC. This branch handles crime for the entire state and has minor branches in different parts. It has never failed to solve a case except for one. It was handled improperly and the Human crime forces picked up the case as well but never solved it. This was the case of the White Rose Killer. The murderer took victims both of the Races and Humans. After a yearlong killing spree the killer vanished into thin air but not before murdering 12 people. His last kill was a family and only the little girl that was five years old survived. It has been almost 17 years since that last murder and the case was forgotten…until now.
Welcome to the Miss Murder Detective Agency detectives. The White Rose killer has appeared again and you are the team selected to take up the case. Beware though, this case has been unsolvable for 17 years. It is your job to follow the clues and catch this dangerous killer before he vanishes again. Good luck Agents and try not to get killed.
(Witches and Wizards specialize in one element but can use magic dealing with others with enough training. Necromancers can talk to ghosts and can’t turn it off. Ghosts track them down and constantly pester them. They can also raise the dead and summon demons but have to constantly feed both Magick to keep them in this world. You can only be one of these 3 races. Only guys can be Wizards and girls can be Witches.)

Eventually the horrors of that day caught up to her and she ran away from the people caring for her. That was back during her teenage years. She took care of herself quite well despite her troubles. She’s very adept at controlling her Magick despite having no training which is why The Organization accepted her application to join when she showed back up a year ago in Charleston. They assigned her to the Miss Murder branch. She was put on the White Rose Killer case, with her past forgotten. She doesn’t talk about what happened that day. In fact she flat out refuses to do anything to deal with what happened to her accept find and take down the man that murdered her family.

Image (Appearance): Name: Zeph Malestorm Sex: Male Age: 22 Race: Necromancer Personality: Crazy and insane most of the time since he is plagued by ghost constantly, he is also known to act like a child and be hardheaded. Without ghost around to get under his skin he is calm, thoughtful and remains quiet keeping his distance. Hobbies: Watching the clouds roll lazily through the sky and long walks in the woods or park. Likes: Peace, quiet, ghost free areas, sour candy, music that drowns out the ghost, nature Theme Song: Demons by Imagine Dragons Background: When he was young he would take long walks and was always graced with a ghost to act as his guide. Which allowed him to never get lost and got him to some of the better spots. Then again he would have to sit through their talking that would go on and on to no end. Since his parents were necromancers, they taught him about raising demons and even the dead for a short period of time. Despite the training and help they gave him, as he hit his later teen years the ghost would flock to him and give him no room to breath let alone think. Driving him mad he would wonder around and end up talking to ghost and yelling at them. Thus how he ended up in the room with the padded walls. It was really quite fun for him. Because the floor and the walls would cause him to bounce when he ran into them, and provided hours of fun and entertainment. Granted that was really only when the ghost were edging him on and giving him words of encouragement. After spending a day in there, the Miss Murder found him and after some miracle got him alone away from the ghost. Offering him a job and protection from getting trapped in such places, he gladly accepted the job. He was their consultant for the more weird cases, least that how it was on paper and what allowed him more freedom since he carried the ID with him always.

Image (Appearance): Name: Salvatore Thame Sex: Male Age: 113 Race: Vampire Personality: wise and doesn't kill without reason Hobbies: None Likes: reading, writing Theme Song: The Lost World by Epic Soul Factory Background: Salvatore Thame was not always a vampire, he was once a normal man until the day the vampires took him and brainwashed him. They found potential in young Salvatore and were not wrong to think so. He trained and fought under the order of the vampires for years to come not knowing the atrocities he committed, he also became known as one of the most remarkable vampires to live. Salvatore soon became suspicious of the order when they would not tell him of his past, he had lost his memory forever and he knew they were his last chance He slipped out one night and overheard their leader speaking of his past, an ordinary man living in a normal world. He became enraged knowing now almost his entire life had been a lie. Salvatore Thame had a new enemy his own race betrayed him and he wanted revenge. Killing all, once fellow companions he left the society in ruins and set off for a new beginning. He was captured quickly by The Organization and interrogated. He told this Organization that he had no idea why his people did not follow the treaties of no aggression, that he killed every last one of the vampires because of what they did to him. These people found it odd that he would kill his fellow brethren and not give a second thought. Salvatore had good intentions, they took his life away so he took theirs. He felt it was only fair. Having nowhere to go back to and with the vampires eliminated they did not see Salvatore as a threat, he joined The Organization and became an agent.

Name: Dayton Waters
Sex: Female
Age: 20
Race: Necromancer
Personality: A little standoffish, Dayton often appears as though she knows better then everyone, and is better than everyone. When the ghosts are plaguing her, she becomes short tempered. Most of the time she's civil, but when she knows more about a subject, she tends to talk down to people.
Hobbies: Reading, Taking long walks (preferably without the ghost company), people watching in parks or malls.
Likes: Walking/Running, Long Walks, Rainy Days, Instrumental Music, Gaelic Music
Theme Song: Amhrán na bhFiann (A Soldiers Song, the Irish National Anthem)
Background: Dayton has been a part of The Organization for years, more years than she should have been, considering it's been nearly fifteen years. Her Mother was a Necromancer, she never knew her father, and she was practically raised by members of The Organization. Her mother died when she was five, and The Organization kept her. Her childhood was a cycle of care takers and helping cases. She manages to maintain her sanity better than most Necromancer's, and that's part of the reason she was chosen to take down the White Rose Killer. Also, could I control more than one character? I have multiple ideas.

Name: Clifton Hunter Sex: Male Age: 22 Race: Wizard Specialty: Air Personality: Quiet and Soft-spoken, Clifton (who goes by Hunter) admires anyone who is brave, but nevertheless will chew the a** of anyone who endangers themselves needlessly. He cares for the safety of others, often times more than he does the safety of himself. Hobbies: Origami, Bird Watching, Likes: Tarot Cards, Windy days, Camping Theme Song: Anything Trance Background: Hunter was raised by his parents, who were a witch and a wizard respectively. He had a rather secluded childhood, as his parents were the type that... well didn't like humans, and wouldn't let their child fraternize with them. When he was sixteen, Hunter left home, living on his own. Though his seclusion continued, he had a little contact with the outside world. When he was nineteen, he was found by a representative of The Organization, and is now part of the team to catch the White Rose Killer.

Ember was bent over her desk in her tiny office in the Miss Murder Detective Agency. Her face was pressed against the keyboard of the desktop she was provided and snores could be heard from anyone who was arriving early for work. Most just shook their heads at her rumpled and stained clothes and the toppled can of Mtn Dew that sat tilted away from her and the computer. These days she took such poor care of herself and it had been that was since they had put her own the case. Really Ember hadn't slept in a bed for at least three straight nights. She hadn't left the office once. Her mini fridge and all the clutter in her tiny office was proof of that. Unfortunately she was ignorant or just flat out didn't care about how it made her look or even the face she did kinda smell. All that mattered was solving the case. She owed it to her family, whose ghosts she felt haunted her. She couldn't see them but she knew they were there, a Necromancer had told her they were once. That was a very long time ago though, before she'd run away and vanished. If someone didn't come along and get up the guts to wake her up she'd stay like that for some time. Really if no one made her Ember wouldn't even go home or remember that the day was her 22nd birthday. Not like that mattered to her. She had no one to celebrate with now, no family or friends. In fact if she had friends they probably wouldn't let her go this long without a bath or shower. They wouldn't have let her desire for revenge consume her like this. Well, that was what Ember thought anyway. She didn't know what friends would really do anymore. On she would sleep until someone was stupid enough to wake her and incur her wrath. After all, she'd only been asleep for thirty minutes. Who ever woke her would surely be chewed out by her sharp tongue for doing so. Most people feared her too much to do that.

Clifton Hunter Wizard Hunter walked into the Miss Murder Detective Agency and made his way to his small office. He passed Ember's on his way, and glanced in. She was sleeping at her desk. Snoring slightly. He frowned, pausing just outside her door. She'd been in before him every morning for the past three days. He admired her resolve, but he also worried about her. The bags beneath her eyes grew larger and deeper every day, and he didn't think the copious amounts of Mountain Dew she was consuming could possibly be good for her. As he stepped into her office, he wrinkled his nose. She definitely needed a shower. Summoning a small wind, he blew some of the mess into the trash, and what he wasn't sure of drifted into a corner. He stopped, foot raised as he went to step toward her, changing his mind. Instead he moved to her mini-fridge in the corner, kneeling down to pull out a fresh can. Popping the top, he put one hand on her shoulder and shook lightly. "Ember. Wake up." When she stirred, he held the can out to her, hopefully to pacify her anger.

Dayton Waters Necromancer Dayton entered the Agency just behind Hunter. She passed by Ember's office without a glance, going straight to the coffee pot in the small breakroom/kitchen. Flipping the switch and pouring water into the machine, Dayton tossed the old grounds and filled it with fresh, taking a deep breath as the smell of fresh coffee wafted to her nostrils. Switching the coffee pot for her own ceramic mug, Ember waited a moment for her cup to fill before quickly switching the pot under the stream of coffee. She winced as the missed drops hit the hot plate and the smell of burning coffee reached her instead. Setting her cup on the counter, she entered the office that she and another shared, going to her mini fridge and grabbing the liquid creamer she kept there. Chocolate Mint flavored this week. Pouring a bit of creamer in she swirled the coffee to mix it a bit before returning to her office. Dropping into her seat, Dayton reached down, returning the creamer to it's rightful place. Placing the coffee on her desk untouched, she turned on her computer, sipping the coffee as she pulled up files.

After all, she'd only been asleep for thirty minutes. Who ever woke her would surely be chewed out by her sharp tongue for doing so. Most people feared her too much to do that. Salvatore walked into the Miss Murder Detective Agency arriving early as always he signed in at the front desk then dropped the pen. He continued walking as he pierced his hood with his hand then let it fall to his shoulders lightly, Salvatore looked down the lightly dim hallway then walked over to the wall and flipped the switch on to reveal an empty bucket stuck with a mop presumably the janitors. A warning sign indicating that the floor was wet was placed near it. On cue an intrusive snore came to his senses, he knew who it was. Ember, it was her 22nd birthday and he had the decency to buy her a card. Salvatore approached the door placed with a bronze knob and entered, he walked over to her. Before he placed the card by the soda he read it. "Happy birthday kid, you deserve this day. Make the best out of your time because we both know it doesn't last long. You were the only one who welcomed me with open arms to the Agency, I appreciate that." Sincerely, Salvatore Thame. Salvatore smiled then closed the card, he placed it curtly beside the soda can and walked out. As he closed the door slowly behind him he watched as some of the other agents filtered into the building. Finally he went over his own office and entered to start his day.

Zeph Malestorm Zeph grumbled to himself as he walked in and saw the other members around talking and heading to their offices. His walk to the Miss Murder Detective Agency had been about the same as always. Reaching up and pulling down his headphones that were blasting music his boorish smile shifted to a small twitching one. It was always about the same as the ghost continued to talk endlessly to each other and fill his ears with rumblings and nonsense. Tossing his hand up to the people down the hall not caring if they saw or cared that he waved. Moving off to the side so others could come in and get by a ghost began to talk to him. "Welcome back again young Zeph. I trust you recall what I was talking about yesterday, how the correct rules for government is very important and that its people are the most important." The ghost from early colonial time period said endlessly and regardless of the fact that Zeph was no longer listening, but shaking his head and trying to avoid the boring conversation. It was always the same with this ghost. The same speech, the same words. Zeph shook his head and said, " No, go away." As if that was the magic words, another two ghost showed up in the same clothes which meant it was the same time period. They chatted and made sure to keep Zeph in the loop despite the fact that he moved a few feet away. They simply floated over to him and basically floated around him talking nonstop. It was getting on his nerves and his eyes were darting a little looking for a place to run while his foot started to tap softly on the floor. Most mornings he was able to avoid most ghosts and keep his mind together, least till about lunch time. Then a lot of them showed up to chat or just see what fun they could provoke out of him. Sometimes, he would lose himself and go off the grid and act like he was truly insane. But after some peace and quiet he would relax and become his usual self. Not that that was a major improvement.
