My avi doesn't look happy XD
The animal avis are cute, but the GC-only items and 150k gold aren't that great :/
But other than that and the fact that this appeared out of nowhere, I kinda like it
What do you guys think?

I think they're cute.
I just wish the whole feature wasn't 90% cash from the get go.
But I'll enjoy what I can afford. I wish I could have white fur though.

 I don't mind most of the items being CS, I just wish they were priced more reasonably, like between $4.99 and $9.99, but that's wishful thinking.
Regardless, I LOVE the animal bases and hope we get a variety of other animals. Here's hoping for a fawn/deer animal base! o3o

I don't like them at all. I'm sticking to my human avi. If I want it to be an anthro critter, there's enough items in the shops and marketplace to do the job adequately.
This is just another money-grab ploy to make people buy Gaia Cash...

like just about everyone else says, I wish most of the items weren't cash, or at least not so expensive. I mean the clothing I'm fine with just what's in the boutique but all the stuff to change the avi and items that are more than just what looks like starter clothes. with any luck, they'll have a sale or something to encourage more people to use them. really they should have had things discounted to start with so people could actually get things they'd like to have without going broke or weeping over the MP

well, if there are people who are really willing to pay 100x bigger price price for something that looks almost the same, i don't see why gaia wouldn't take advantage of it ;D

That's terrible omg ouo And anyway I really love the animal bases aaah but they jsut pushed REALLY EXPENSIVE cash shop items and some starter clothes. I'm good with starter clothes for now though and I'm hoping we'll get some cross stich animal contests in the future >u<

I'd love to do more with the pet avis as well, but yeah... The items I want are done in GC or ridiculous expensive on the marketplace. I'd love to create one of my avis as a pet, but really don't want to sell my pet plushes that turn it into an animal (I've two versions of the Terrier on this one and the skunk on my male account) to pay for some of the items I'm desiring.
Plus, sorry, but there's no way I'm using my debit card to go with GC either. I have issues with spending money for digital items. I get the reasoning for it- a group funding project meant to improve the site- but since I'm hardly around on either account, I really don't like to donate like that.
