Aloysius laughed and pet the cat as he smiled.Cat tongues really did tickle since they were bristly. "Well you have a sweet tooth it seems. Maybe cat food is not your thing?" He reached behind him and dug out another macaroon, holding it out to the cat that now sat in his lap.
"Well you are the cutest cat I have seen, I have never seen one with a scarf before. Where is your owner?" Normally people would not talk to cats like this and expect a response but Aloysius liked having conversations with cats. They may not reply but he believed that they did understand English or whatever language was dominant in the place they came from.
"If you want to come inside you can, I heard that it might rain today and I know that water is a sore subject with most cats." He waited a moment to see if there would be any sort of reply or motion of acceptance or rejection from the cat. After all he didn't want to interrupt the poor kitty's meal. It was then that he noticed an odd little star on the cat's forehead, he wasn't sure what it was but at the same time he wasn't sure if he would get a verbal response from a cat.
"You are quite an odd little cutey are you not?" He scratched the cat behind the ears as he sat on the railing, wondering how his own cat would respond to a new friend in the house.
