Flicking her tail, the young mare looked back at the sleeping Gareth wondering when he was going to wake up. It had been a long couple days and he tended to her wounds each and every day at least three times a day making sure nothing became infected. He was gentle and so caring about her injuries that she felt her heart skip a few beats. He had been probably the sweetest thing to happen to her and the most loyal friend she could ever want. Even though they bickered back and forth it was something she enjoyed. It was something that put a smile on her face when he wasn’t looking. She hid her emotions from him for good reason. She didn’t want him to know that she liked him. Not as a friend or a partner in crime. She liked him as more of someone she could see herself with forever. It wasn’t strong, but it was definitely there. She knew what that kind of emotion felt like after growing up with two parents that deeply loved each other. She couldn’t believe it was happening to her. She never thought that it was going to happen to her. She never wanted to fall for anyone or like anyone. It only meant she would worry about their safety and it only meant she would worry about her own safety more.
She looked away from him staring out into the distance watching the rainfall down liking that it was quiet and calm despite the weather. She had been sitting there for hours pondering what she wanted to do. If she wanted to leave him there and run off alone like she had wanted to do for the past week yet she couldn’t bring herself to do it. She had been staring into the distance for hours now and she felt her heart keeping her there. She didn’t want to leave him. She didn’t quite understand why she couldn’t overcome this strong emotion, but she just couldn’t. She would forever be grateful for him for the care he gave her and there was minimal scaring. She smiled remembering how worried he looked when he was taking care of her. If it weren’t for him she would have died. She owned him so much now. So much that she didn’t know how she would ever repay him. He had seen every side of her except for her affectionate one. She wasn’t sure that would ever come out, but so far she was shocked at herself.
Soon the smile disappeared from her lips and she felt sad knowing she would eventually have to leave his side. She didn’t know when, but she knew she couldn’t be around him forever. She was a solitary creature and it was going to stay that way. It had to be that way. She curled her tail at her side before rising and stretching her body before walking over to the sleeping Gareth finding him to be very cute when he slept. She had thought about leaving him sleep so that she could wander around for a little bit, but that wouldn’t happen. She didn’t want to go anywhere that was away from him. She flicked her tail before swatting him in the face with it. It was her way of waking him up. She moved away and slowly stepped outside not caring if the soft rain fell against her coat. She didn’t mind it at all and it wasn’t so bad. Maybe a little cold, but she could handle it.
As she stepped out further from under the rock formation, she picked a few herbs she spotted placing them in her satchel before sitting down listening to all the animal sounds in the forest. Something changed a little bit in her. She felt different and she couldn’t really place it. Maybe she matured a little bit or maybe she actually was beginning to care about herself. She let out a wistful sigh and looked around some more feeling her hair cling to her shoulders. She was deep in thought. Something was bothering here that was for sure.
Today was going to be the day where she began her stealth training. She wanted to be better and faster so that she didn’t get injured like that again. She wanted to kill things with ease instead of a tussle. She felt like today was going to be life changing.
She finally was starting to care about herself.
That is what was bothering her.

Sleep had been a fickle mistress these past few days as he had cared for Chosovi’s wounds. He had been fearful of leaving her side, worried that her injuries may become infected or that she would lapse into shock. He remembered feeling tense each time he walked over to her, concerned about what he might find. But she was strong and she had managed to hold herself together long enough to assist him in restoring her to her previous health. He recalled still feeling tense and afraid as she snapped at him to get some sleep, claiming he would be no good to her if he couldn’t focus. He was glad she was getting back to her old self, though he was still constantly worried. The last thought he had before allowing sleep to finally drag him into the depths of the dream world was of her face, of her presence. Even as he slept he had brief dreams about her. Flashes of their experience with the bear, of the Skinwalker, of him dragging her behind him on the litter, and of her eyes angled skyward as she admired the beauty of the world. Her mere existence had seemingly infected him and out of all the uncertainty clouding his mind, he knew he did not wish to lose her.
He lurched awake as he was struck in the face by something and his eyes instantly darted to where he had last left Chosovi. His heart raced furiously when he did not see her, but when the blurry world finally came into focus he saw her before him and let out a sigh of utter relief. Gazing at her tail that now swung back into position he realized what had happened and snorted. That tail of hers was deceptively lethal; it was soft but capable of inflicting a nasty sting when wielded correctly. He was about to make some sort of snarky comment when she stepped out into the rain and he was silenced.
Against the gray backdrop her white coat glistened much in the same way as a fairy glowed in the stories his mother had told him. She appeared almost ethereal as she gracefully entered the curtain of water falling upon her and in that instant he swore he had been taken to the Otherworld. He dared not move as he kept his eyes upon her and he found he was holding his breath. She was so different, unlike anything he had ever seen before. But she was also similar in some way. Shaking his head and closing his gaping jaw he lumbered to his feet and followed after her slowly, still entranced by her pale form navigating the darkened world.
He came to a stop as she bent to collect what appeared to be some herbs, and he remained silent so as not to disturb her. He had seen her crabby and he had seen her vulnerable, but there was something different in her mood today. As she sat he couldn’t help but to pick up on a light thread of confusion and dismay. Had he already spent enough time with her to notice when her moods shifted? A silly grin turned up the corners of his mouth as he dismissed the thought. He could stay with her for a lifetime and still never truly grasp her character. Moving slowly, and without really thinking, he came to her side and stretched one of his wings over her head to shield her from the rain. “I already tended to you once; don’t make me do it again.” He commented with a wink.

He was following her and this only caused her to flick her tail in annoyance. There truly was no way to get rid of him and a part of her felt stuck to him because she didn’t even want him to go. She was so conflicted right now it wasn’t even funny. She felt her heart beating a mile a minute from his words and felt like lashing out at him, but she stopped herself. She was going to try and be calm unless of course he said something that would really set her off which wouldn’t be too hard. He was a pain in the butt after all. “But it seems like you prefer to tend to me. I haven’t even had a chance to do it to you yet. Not to that extent anyway.” She shrugged her shoulders as she continued on feeling the soft rain beat against her body. She sometimes wondered if it was the rain that was making her feel this way. If it was the thing that was confusing her and making her question her heart. She hoped it was.
“But for more important matters…” She paused and turned to look at him with her striking eyes as if trying to pierce into his very soul right at that moment. “Why are you coming with me? Shouldn’t you be running free right now and avoiding me at all costs?” She asked and wondered if he was going to say something like, ‘Oh well I was going this way anyway so I’m not really following you.’ If he said something like that, she was going to n** him right in the knee or his cheek. Yeah probably his cheek. Leave a good mark there so that everyone could see it and wonder what the hell happened. “As much as I have enjoyed your company and smart remarks maybe it’s time for you to leave and go venture for yourself for once?” She really wished she would just shut up for once because it felt like her heart and her brain were having a never-ending battle. She enjoyed the company and then hated it at the same time. She didn’t have any time to herself and he was just there. Then again this could also be her way of trying to avoid how she felt right now. She just wanted to forget. Forget everything and live alone so she wouldn’t have to worry, but then she also felt she was far past that time right now.
As they continued on, she felt the rain start to stop and the sun was beaming brightly through the canopy above them. She let out a sigh of relief in knowing that she was going to be dried off soon. She didn’t know if she would be able to do any kind of effective training if she was bogged down by water weight. Then again, she didn’t even know where to begin. She wasn’t a teacher and usually did everything based on instinct not knowing how to properly attack. She felt like she needed to find a teacher or a trainer; just someone who could show her the way and make her into a stronger more powerful female. “Maybe I should train on you..though I don’t think you would be much fun. You would probably drop dead right away.” He said poking fun at him a little bit as she stopped digging her claws into the soft wet soil. Maybe she could train on a tree again? No she needed something that moved.
“Do you know of anyone that can train me?” She asked the stallion looking over to him with a very relaxed expression this time. She was still serious of course, but she was a little worried she wouldn’t be able to find someone to train with. The thought scared her. Would he laugh at her or actually help her? She didn’t know and maybe this was a stupid thing to ask someone especially him. “I want to be a better fighter…” She paused looking at him with a hint of sadness in her eyes. “I want to fight and not end up hurting myself..” She knew he worried about her safety and it was one of the reason she was feeling this way. After the last time she wasn’t going to do anything rash again or at least not to the point where she was injured that badly. She could put him through something like that again.
“So will you help me or not?”
She growled in a low tone before hearing the crackle of thunder. Another storm. Oh how wonderful. XBlind-DarknessX I hope the tag is alright. I wrote it while half asleep and with half of my face swollen D8

Allowing his wing to drop away he stared wordlessly at her before breaking the silence with an amused chuckle. Shaking out his flaxen mane and stretching out his sleep stiffened neck he found himself unable to conceal the self-satisfied grin situated upon his face. “Is it truly upsetting to you that I have been looking after you and denying you the privilege of doing the same for me?” Turning to look at her once more he quirked a brow and awaited her response. He was not trying to feed the flame constantly burning within her belly; he actually found what she had said to be quite….cute. She had shown him that she cared for him, even if only a small measure. Staring off into the middle distance he rolled his shoulders nonchalantly. “I haven’t ever had anyone tend to me really, my siblings are busy doing their own things, my mother is always only halfway present and I would rather not trouble my father with such things.” He paused a moment to gather his thought before continuing. “I guess maybe, to a certain extent, I never wanted them to treat my injuries.” Once more allowing his eyes to rest upon her face he smiled. “Though if I am ever in need, I will surely tell you Cho.”
He withstood her piercing scrutiny without flinching but his expression contorted into one of displeasure at her words. How could she still not understand? Squaring himself so that he could look at her directly he assumed an air of weightiness before speaking. “You said it was my choice, and I told you that I chose not to leave you, I will not go back on that.” He snorted and stamped his hoof with authority. “Running free? Who says I am imprisoned? And why would I wish to avoid you when I have chosen to remain by your side? Snarl, snap, growl as you like but I have made my decision and knight does not go back on his word.” Lowering his gaze with a sigh he allowed his shoulders to droop so as to adopt a less severe stance. “I will leave if you wish that of me, but I have told you my choice. It is time you make yours as well.” In that instant he felt fearful, fearful that she would turn him away just as abruptly as she had given him sovereignty over the matter. He did not want to be forced to leave her side, but he would do as she commanded.
Her other comments fell upon deaf ears as he awaited her final decision. She was driving him insane, pushing him away and then pulling him back again. Though he would gladly take the inconstancy he wanted to know how she truly felt. He would not hinder her if she believed him to be a hindrance, and he would not force himself upon her. “If you want me to help you I need to know your feelings.” The phrasing seemed a lot heavier than it actually was. Noticing this he cleared his throat and amended the statement. “I need to know if you truly wish for me to leave, or if you are willing to allow me to stay?” Looking to the ground as though a foal seeking permission from someone in authority he went on. “I will help you in any way you need, but I need to know that I am not just following you around without taking your feelings into consideration.”

What he said was infuriating, but it was the truth. She was just going to have to deal with it and have to learn to back down when she needed to. “I suppose, though I prefer to protect rather then the stallion..I mean..it’s so cliché when the stallion does it.” She told him flicking her tail behind her in a slightly playful manner. “I usually took care of myself so..I never had anyone take care of me either. My mother sometimes did and my father as well, but I preferred to be alone.” She shrugged her shoulders wondering why she was confiding in the stallion again. Every time she thought she was breaking away from him, she only ended up drawing him closer to her and she didn’t quite understand that. Turning her head to him, she paused for a moment and gave him a nod. “Yes you should, though you don’t really have to since I wouldn’t be telling you when I need assistance.” She shrugged it off again. She was all about being independent and not relying on others. She didn’t like that feeling of owing someone else something. It was a frustrating concept.
Now his words were really ticking her off, but she wasn’t going to show him her anger. She had done that many times before and the stallion still didn’t get the hint. “Fine then whatever you choose to do is up to you, just don’t get in my way.” She growled at him trying to hold back her anger and frustration from the whole situation. Now they would have to share meals, she would have to protect him and so much other stuff. She felt like she was watching a child or something. But then the seriousness of his other comment completely caught her off guard. She didn’t want him to leave and she made her choice many times. If he had just left her alone from the beginning she wouldn’t be in this kind of situation. Her feelings weren’t allowing her to let him go and she couldn’t just ignore this now. “Stick around..if anything your good for bantering with..” She told him making it sound like she didn’t really need him all that much when deep down she didn’t want him to go anywhere.
“Does it really matter how I feel about you?” She stopped walking and looked at the stallion with a glare of death. She could feel her heart thumping in her chest and wished her damn stupid emotions would just leave her alone. She stared into his eyes and if it wasn’t for her anger, she would probably be taken away by their beauty. She never really noticed it before. “I don’t care if you stick around or not. It’s your choice. We have been helping each other out and whole I’m grateful for it…I’m a loner by nature, so if you think I’m going to beg for you to stay it’s not going to happen.” She told him feeling her anger seep out with every single word. “It’s your choice like I have said. If your such a knight you will stay no matter what and you wouldn’t be wanting to leave my side regardless of what I say.” She mentioned in a round about way of making it seem like she wanted him there. “Now I don’t have time to argue with you..” She snorted walking further into the woods looking around hesitantly.
“Are you going to help me now?” She looked back at him, her anger was clearly gone and she seemed very calm at least for the moment.

Her fury was not something he was unaccustomed to, but seeing it boil and expand over something as simple as whether or not she wanted him around had him feeling a bit lost. Her words only added to his confusion as she fluctuated back and forth between wanting him to forever disappear from her life, and hinting that she would accept it should he remain. Although he felt quite conflicted over the matter he couldn’t help but feel something within him softening toward her. Her words were harsh and even cruel at times but there was an underlying entity, a part of herself that she fought to conceal by snarling and hissing. Lowering his head with a drawn out sigh as she reached the end of her extended rant he found himself quietly chuckling. She was just as conflicted as he was, if not more and he knew that attempting to force her to figure everything out at this exact moment would get him nowhere. Looking up at her with a warm smile that felt foreign and new upon his countenance he responded. “Alright She-Wolf.” He responded simply.
Continuing on the path she had first started out on he called back to her over his shoulder. “I guess you will have to just get used to someone wanting to protect you.” With a few powerful strokes of his wings he became airborne and flew in a wide circle around where they had been walking. His mother had once told him tales of an ancient tree guarded by a mare skilled in multiple forms of combat. He was uncertain about whether or not it was merely a fable but he figured their little trip couldn’t be any more of a disaster than it already was. Sweeping back around after sufficiently orienting himself he searched for her pale figure and eventually touched down once more nearby.
“This may not come to fruition, but I have heard tell of a mare the may be able to teach you what you want to know. She watches over an ancient tree that I believe to be a few days west of here.” Folding his wings down by his sides he quirked a brow at her. “What say you alpha?”

He chuckled at her? She felt her guard go down when she heard it and felt herself immediately wanting to hear more of it. She didn’t understand this feeling nor did she even want to expand on the thought. She simply ignored it for right now and continued on. She didn’t have the time to worry about senseless things and the more she did the more she felt herself becoming increasingly confused. Then her ears perked when he mentioned someone who could teach her. Finally he was good for something. “Really now? You couldn’t have mentioned this before?” She snapped back at him before hearing the alpha nickname making her feeling warm inside for some reason. She really was a alpha. She was strong, cunning and very dominant. She would even protect someone to the death if she needed to especially him. “Let’s go find this mare. Maybe it will turn out to be worthwhile. I hope for your sake it is, or I’m going to be using you as a training dummy.” She huffed at him trying not to show her anger too much right now. It was still there only because she was so annoyed at her heart. The confliction inside of it was tormenting her endlessly.
She slowed her movements until she was beside him and couldn’t help looking over to him. She knew their journey was going to be coming to an end soon. They would go separate ways never to see each other again. She would never hear his goofy chuckle or that stupid face he made when he smiled or gave her a grin. She would just have a memory of it, which was probably the only thing she was going to be able to have. She was going to miss it. She hated to think that way, but she really was going to miss his presence. She was going to miss all of it and all of him. But she was going to have to be strong if she was going to survive on her own. She didn’t know if she could live with anyone else. Only him. So she would roam alone forever if she had to.
Flicking her tail, she took her eyes off him and looked at the ground beneath her. Why did he have to step into her life? Why was he the one she ran into? Why did he have to be so darn amazing to be around? She felt her heart begin to thump and she let out an agitated growl. “We better be getting close.” She said looking at him with a glare. She was trying to play off her feelings as best as she could. She really didn’t want him to find out and then use it against her. She was also growing a little tired and that was starting to put her in a bad mood as well. She ignored her aching body and pushed forward hoping this mare was close. She didn’t think she could continue on like this especially with him around her.
She needed to break away from him before she lost her mind.
“Are we close?” She perked her ears up at him asking in a demanding voice.

A wide smile lit his face not only because of her demanding behavior but because she was there with him. There was something about her presence that elevated his mood and made him feel stronger in some way. Before coming across her that day in the forest he had been an introverted stallion with little more on his mind that completing his next quest, but now he couldn’t get the she-wolf out of his mind. Quests mattered little to him, showing his strength and attempting to be a hero didn’t seem nearly as important when she was nearby. Just as long as he could do something for her, be there for her. That was his new quest.
The urge to reach out and touch her arose but the fear of rejection kept him from attempting it. Still, he never forgot how soft she was when he was treating her wounds nor how her heart beat caused his own to quicken when he was checking her vitals. Clearing his throat, and the fog overwhelming his mind, he rolled his eyes. “Not even close She-wolf. Not even close.” A week has come and gone as the unlikely duo travels to the ancient tree in search of a trainer for Chosovi. After a few perils and more than a few disagreements the two find themselves standing before a towering tree with leaves that seem to have a golden glow about them, and healthy fruits clinging to the branches that seem to emanate with life. At the base they stand, no others are in their sight.

Seriously, how hard was it to find a bear familiar? How does one even loose a bear familiar? Rin Asougi shook her head, she did not seem to be having the best of luck that morning. It was supposed to be an easy job, but like most things in life, it turned out it was not quite as easy as she was lead to believe. Her client and the familiar got into a fight and the familiar went its separate way, why did the client not tell her that? Instead the soquili said that the bear was lost and she needed to find him right away. She had been following the bear’s tracks for what seemed like hours, and yet she saw no sign of the bear besides his paw prints with in the dirt. This was absolutely pointless, why was she trekking through the woods to find a bear? The mare shook her head, causing green strands to fall in front of her eyes, she quickly blew them out of her way and squinted into the woods. Something fluffy seemed to be in the distance. “Heeeeey! Are you Menville? If you are, please return to Sarahela, she misses you and wants me to tell you that she is sorry about the whole thing.” This was a complete lie on Rin’s part, but she really did not want to be dealing with this drama for much longer. The bear turned its large head and blinked its dark chocolate eyes at her as he gave a slight nod. As slow as molasses in the dead of winter did he move. C’mon, c’mon, seemed to be a mantra that got stuck in the mare’s head. Together they walked back in silence, she would have rambled on and on about certain things, but she did not feel her companion was interested in small talk. Finally they made it to the thicket where Sarahela paced, happiness and guilt seemed to flash across the mare’s countenance. Before the two could reunite and apologize to each other, Rin cut in, “The agreed upon compensation?” Sarahela nodded and gave Rin a large deer skin bag made by one of the Kawanii natives. The green haired angeni took it in her mouth and gave a mumbled, “Twanwk wuo for your bwueezness.” And walked back toward her glen. She loved where she lived. It was so peaceful, and a large tree blocked the entrance to her cave and only those with a keen eye could tell where the entrance was. Every few years she tended to move, but not very far, this area was her favorite, there seemed a calm energy about it. As she walked back to her place she hummed, the bag in her mouth made it awkward, but she did not care.
She stopped. Someone was there. A new client perhaps or a past client unhappy with her business? Quietly the mare walked forward, careful to remain hidden within the branches she spied upon those who stood in her glen. They were an interesting couple, the stallion was winged, definitely part angeni, and had a unicorn tail. He was dark except for his mane and his back legs. The mare was even more interesting, instead of hooves she had paws and a fluffy tail. Her coat was white as snow but her legs were coal black, just like her mane. Their appearances did not register anything to her, she had never met them before.
Rin walked out of the woods, with her mouth still full of the bag and smiled at the couple. She walked past them, but kept a peripheral eye on both of them, waiting to see what they would do. Beneath the tree she released the bag and turned to face her young companions, “That’s better, I can talk and you can actually understand me. I’m Rin Asougi. Now, how can I be of assistance?”

Not believing how long they had been traveling together, she paused checking their surroundings with a calculating stare. She wasn't in the mood for messing around since she figured they would be at their destination by now. She was tired and even more tired of being accompanied by him though every time she thought that, she would feel a pain in her chest. It was becoming irritating and she still didn't understand it. Maybe her mother would know more about what it meant, but right now she couldn't think about getting help. She was too busy trying to find the current task at hand, which seemed more and more impossible with each day.
But then when she heard the voice of another, she turned her head examining the mare very closely wanting to keep a very close eye on her. Hearing her question, she kept silent for the moment examining her features from head to toe. She was always this way especially with newcomers. She wanted to make sure they didn't pose a threat especially around Gareth. The mare was gorgeous, but not intimidating. She at least knew that much. There was nothing to fret over and she could let her guard down, which she did. Her claws slowly relaxed from digging into the soft soil. She didn't want to cause any problems. This mare could be the one they were looking for all this time after all. She raised her head and perked her eyes up. Her fangs glistening in the light as she opened her muzzle very slowly. "We are looking for a warrior to train me. My companion here told me he knew of one." She flicked her tail and kept her gaze locked with the mare's. She didn't know how she was going to help train her let alone help her be a better fighter. She looked dainty or a complete bookworm. She didn't seem to have what it took to actually fight an enemy.
She glanced back at Gareth who seemed to be pretty content with letting her lead the conversation for the moment. Turning away, she took a few steps closer to the green haired mare and cocked her head to the side. When it came to other mares she always felt the need to assert her dominance. She didn't know why. Then again she did the same thing with stallions as well just not as bad. "Are you her or was this trip a waste of time?" She glanced back at Gareth with a glare that let him know she would attack him if this was a waste of her time. She would have been better off staying back where they were before.
She locked eyes with the mare one more time and stared at her showing no emotion at all. "I'm Chosovi and his name is Gareth." She kept it short and simple even though she wanted to call him a bumbling idiot, she decided to keep that bit of information to herself.

From the corner of his eye Gareth could see the lithe white figure of his companion moving gracefully beside him. As he watched her he couldn’t help but to reflect on that first encounter in which a bear and a thick headed demeanor led him to this very place, beside this very individual. A chance meeting with little to no significance at the time, but one that grew into something more. He had changed since meeting her. He had become less isolated, less cold toward the outside world and its inhabitants. As he noted each minor swish of her tail, each movement of her focused gaze and the way the feathers atop her head gently swayed in the calm breeze he felt something within him stir. He could have spent all day studying her in silence, but that was not to be as they reached their destination.
Chosovi’s form going from irritated to rigid caused Gareth’s focus to swiftly shift as he followed her gaze. Normally he would have been more attentive but he had been distracted by thoughts he wasn’t even certain he should be having. Though his mouth opened in order to issue a greeting words did not come for they were already being spoken by another. He should have known she wasn’t about to let him speak. A thought that made him grin inwardly as opposed to becoming frustrated with her. Rather than fight the ever increasing current he simply bowed his head in greeting toward the mare and allowed Cho to continue on her current line of questioning.
Of course, his silence did not last long as he was indirectly accused of making a mistake. “I daresay She-wolf; your attitude could greatly improve. I have brought us all this way in search of a warrior and, clearly one stands before you.” He cast a quick glance at the weapons attached to the mare’s hind legs. “I sincerely doubt she uses those for gardening.” He snickered.

She did not say a word to the wolf like mare, just continued to stare at her until the stallion decided he would have his say on the matter as well. It was all she could do to keep a straight face; she definitely had an interesting couple in front of her. So, the current rumor about her was that she was a fierce warrior. She actually kind of liked that rumor, would keep those who wished to swindle her from getting too close. But where was the rumor about her great skills as a private investigator? At least the rumor was not about her profound ability to find lost familiars. She really hoped she would not have to do something like that any time soon.
The mare paused, “I am no one but myself. With skills and faults just like anyone else. I could be the mare you are looking for or I could not be,” she shrugged, “since I am not entirely sure which mare you are looking for, for there are plenty of warrior like mares around her. I could offer to help you find said warrior, but I have a better idea.” Rin smiled at the couple, she was ranting a bit, and it had been awhile since she had clients that wanted her to do something other than finding lost things. “And I do not believe it is a waste of time, as your companion has stated, these weapons strapped upon my legs are not for gardening. They would make pathetic gardening tools, but that is beside the point.” A slightly orange leaf from a nearby tree began to fall toward the earth, thinking it was time to make a point, Rin reached into the knife belt at her back right leg and grabbed one of the silver daggers with her teeth, with a sharp swing of her neck; she sent the sharp object flying toward the trunk of a tree. Only a small thud was heard as it made contact with the bark, the orange leaf pierced through the center. “So young one, do you think I am qualified to teach you what you need to know? Or would you rather use my other set of skills to find a different mentor?”

Chosovi listened to everything the mare said attentively. This was a tough situation for her since she didn't like taking help from others no matter what gender they were. Gareth was her only exception and even then it took her awhile to even be able to withstand him for the smallest amount of time. She stood there examining her and thinking to herself if this would actually be a good idea. Gareth seemed pretty content on this being it and she didn't know for sure if it being the one trainer that will help her. Though she never knew for sure. She wanted to maim him for his snarky comments, but she was going to let it pass this one time. She didn't want to embarrass him in front of another mare. That would just be wrong.
She broke away from the two of them for a moment standing off to the side and staring through the forest almost as if she was going to sprint away at any moment except she was calm. She wasn't flustered and she could feel a small amount of peace running through her. She didn't know what this meant. She didn't know if it was because Gareth stayed by her side for so long or because she was actually growing up. She took a deep breath as her eyes fell to the ground. She was going to have to do this. There wasn't any other options and the longer she waited the worse she was going to become. She didn't want to be a failure and she sure as hell didn't want to look like a fool in front of Gareth.
"I accept."
She said in a light whisper before turning around and looking at the mare first then to Gareth. "I accept your offer." She didn't know what would come from this, but she only hoped it would strengthen her skills. She wanted to be the best and there was no second place in her eyes. It was either you win or you fail. There was nothing in-between.
"So let's get started right away I don't have the time to be waiting around." She growled as she stepped past the mare wondering if she would do well. Usually she never thought of things like this. Usually her mind was clear, but if Gareth was going to watch she wanted to impress him. She was slowly starting to understand why as well and it frightened her.
She glanced over to Gareth locking eyes with him and could feel a small leap in her chest followed by a warm fuzzy feeling.
It was love.
(( Also I'm thinking this is the end of the RP. Not sure if we should RP all the training since it would go for a pretty long while. Probably a couple months or so. Since that is the case, I can start her solo Rp and then pick up with Blind for the other Rps.
If you both agree with this, Thank you so much Thalea for helping us out! c8 ))
