Acanthite left her latest victim carefully in the bushes, slumped over the bicycle he had been walking when she caught him. He had gotten suspicious of her offer to help him with his bike's flat tire when she started draining him, and so the dark senshi had elected to just drain more from him to calm him down. She half-wondered what he would remember when he woke up, but of course she would be long gone by then, protected by her glamor and probably in math class or something.
The park was sort of a more challenging place for energy collection, mostly because she did not fit as seamlessly with her "little lolita girl" routine being alone out here at night. Still, Acanthite had gotten lucky tonight. And maybe being cute made the task simpler than if she had the more overtly military uniform of the agents of the Negaverse.
Turning her back on the unconscious civilian, the grey-eyed girl left him, and kept walking, taking her time as her heels clicked on the sidewalk. Much as it might have been a better idea to avoid the street lights, snowmelt had made the ground off the paths in the park soft and muddy, and Acanthite was not sure how easily she would be able to walk on it with her heeled boots.
Still, she felt no auras nearby, so, for the moment, at least, she was probably safe enough just following the path.

It had been a busy week for Eve Summers. Projects, assignments, her part-time job, searching for internships... She had almost forgotten her weekly visits to either her star or the Surrounding. 'Almost' too, was a word she used to fudge her responsibilities; she had neglected to do that last week. Even as she seemed to power up even less than she did back in the day, Eve still took regular self-defense classes to keep in shape.
...Or to convince herself she was still dedicated to her duty as a senshi.
She was out of the apartment tonight; taking a walk through the park. A fountain in the area had once served as a rendezvous point for the Zodiacs when they had brought numerous White Moon Senshi to the Surrounding back when they needed help. Eve had found it to be a good point to travel to space since it wouldn't do to draw any attention to her aura in residential places.
Henshin pen tucked safely into her pocket, she looked every the inch of a young woman simply making her way home. It didn't take long, however, to spot a man in the bushes, and she ventured closer to take a look. "Excuse me, are you alright...?" Fingers pressed on his neck and she breathed a sigh of relief to note that he had a pulse. Eve debated calling an ambulance, although that meant she had to also leave this place as quick as possibl-- wait.
Alarm bells rang in her head as she shook the man slightly by the shoulder. Could it... Eve closed her eyes with a grimace. "Negaverse." She breathed, fingers tightening around her henshin pen.
After a quick glance around, the blond girl ducked behind a tree and soon emerged as Eternal Sailor Flora. All she had to do was scout the area and make sure her hunch was right. If it wasn't, well... that would be for the best.
Except that she soon sensed an aura in front of her, and it certainly wasn't the friendly kind. "I knew it." Flora's tone was utterly resigned; she was honestly still reevaluating her stance towards the Negaverse. As much as Flora wasn't a fan for Chaos, having spoken to Lina had also made her realize that it was the malevolent energy that had corrupted innocents and allies alike.

A powerful energy signature flared up behind Acanthite, and she stopped and whirled around quickly. Of course there was nothing for her eyes to see, to match the flare of halogen-whtieness in her mind. Someone must have found her little victim, then, and now she would have to either run or fight.
The aura was distinctly stronger than hers, but the Senshi of the Cataract remained standing where she was.
If someone had asked her why, the grey-eyed girl would not have been able to explain. It was not precisely that she wanted to go toe to toe with a superior foe, though the remote possibility that she could win was an exciting one. But at the same time ... perhaps whoever this was might know something about her. Perhaps Acanthite would be able to get a few shreds of information about the past she planned to reject.
"Who's there?" she called out.

The aura she sensed wasn't something that was on par with her power level, thankfully. It meant she wasn't facing anyone that was exceedingly dangerous, and yet Flora knew better than to underestimate an enemy. Taking one last glance back at the civilian to make sure he was unharmed, the Eternal Senshi sucked in a deep breath before continuing along the path.
The sight of the dark-colored fuku made her fists clench; it reminded her of the fact that one of the members on her very first team had fallen to such a state. Slowly, her fingers began to relax as the Senshi of Spring told herself that they hadn't much choice. And they could be saved, just like how Lina had, right?
It took a few deep breaths to calm herself down before she stepped forward, Flora regarded the corrupted senshi with a curious stare. What was her story? How had the Negaverse taken her? How did she look like before she was taken? Had she had team members? Friends?
"Was that you who did that?" She asked, jerking her thumb backwards to where the boy lay. At the very least, it wasn't as if his starseed had been stolen.

"Yeah, just me," Acanthite replied, feeling no particular reason to lie. She tensed up anyway, though, preparing to flee if the other girl made a move. The White Moon senshi did not look particularly dangerous at face value, but more power inevitably also meant more experience - and the Senshi of the Cataract could not imagine that she was the only one who tried the "cute and harmless" act to get others to lower their guard.
"I'm Acanthite," she offered after a long pause. "Whether we talk or fight, I figure I should at least introduce myself."

Flora had certainly tried talking to Negaversers before.
But she had been almost killed by several and though she had a pretty interesting conversation with a certain Lieutenant Raite, he had still attacked her first. And even though she was privy to the fact that they could be saved, and it was just Chaos manipulating them, the memories of previous experiences still made her tense.
"I'm Flora." She said. "Senshi of Spring, Handmaiden to Princess Chronos of the Zodiacs." She wasn't entirely sure why she had blurted out her full title, but it was the truth, and she was going to simply roll with it. "What is your sphere, Acanthite?" Even in meeting new White Moon Senshi, she had always been curious of what power they wielded. And with knowledge that they had worlds that were once their home that lay deep in space, she sometimes imagined what their world looked like based on bits on information alone.
It was always an interesting thing to think about, after all.

A lengthy title, so definitely a more seasoned senshi. It made Acanthite nervous, and she resolved to run first if this exchange came to blows. She similarly contemplated Flora's sphere, though, wondering what Spring could do to her, but the dark senshi was still not eager to find out.
"I'm Negaverse Soldier of the Cataract," she stated, recalling Alkaid's admonishment from their meeting a few weeks prior. "Rocks and river rapids to keep invaders out." And gates and a portcullis and why did she have to end up with something weird and old and Greek that was hard to explain?
Not that she was ashamed of it, she reiterated with her stance, tense and ready as she studied the other girl in the glaring white uniform.
"If that's all, I'll be on my way?"
