 Starlyn, the Darlyn, flit about dream valley without a care in the world. Sometimes he landed on a tree, sometimes a stone. He flew sometimes but not often, it was boring alone. So mostly he walked, though without a friend he hardly talked. He just picked his way here and there, not heading specifically anywhere.

Taya was almost childlike in nature, always had been since she arrived. She would be out frolicking in the field, the rest of the herd in the distance curled around the lake while she went out to have a breath of fresh air. Those soft eyes seemed to almost shimmer, and where she moved the ground was at its freshest, each step left a small trail of wild flowers dancing through the thick lush green grass.
She snorted softly as she shifted her ears, eyes looking out over the land she had called home for quite some time. She was without the child she took in as her own, leaving the now young woman back at the lake. Something about fresh air, and getting away from everyone was refreshing to her. The carefree mare would be to busy playing with the flowers to even notice someone new entering the lands.

He spotted the flowers first and grinned. He launched himself upwards, to swoop down and pluck one, to dance with. He got the height he needed and began to dive, pulling himself short and falling against a tree as he tried to brake in mid air, realizing that it was not a flower he spotted... but a pony wearing flowers!

Those ears flicked up and twisted as she heard the tree move. She turned towards the tree, a bit worried about what just happened but it did not stop her from coming over. Each step left the small trail of flowers behind her. Ears pulled back, head leaned over. the vines twisted through her main and tail like they grew there. She would speak out, her voice was soft, sweet in its own way, like the flowers that called her body home.
"Are you okay?" She asked, her fore right leg slipping out, pawing lightly at the ground, pulling it back as she pulled her leg back a bit of grass appeared in the fresh dirt. Concern was held in her head as her head cantered to the left just slightly. She was always the kind to worry about others, maybe it was her pure heart.

He fell in a heap in front of her, legs and wings all tangled together. He looked up at her, beak in the fresh grass she grew. "Um, hi," he said as best as he could with his chin pressed into the ground. Not the most graceful landing.

Taya could not help but laugh. It was not lady like, but she did come in, nosing along his wing, untangling it from his leg. "Are you okay?" She would ask in that soft voice. She pulled back, looking him over slowly with those kind eyes. More scanning him to make sure there was no bleeding or anything. She moved her frame back a little further her tail flicking softly back and forth.

After she helped untangled him, he pulled carefully to his feet. "Yes, I think I'm alright," He said, shaking leaves out of his hair. "I'd say I match you, but you're far prettier," he said simply.

She found herself off guard by his comment, but it was quickly followed by a girlish laugh. She looked over him a little more, circling around him before finally coming to a stop. "You seem to be fine." She would move her ears back slowly. "I am glad you are okay that was quite a fall." She laughed once more before she flicked her ears back along her skull.

"It was not quite THAT funny," he mumbled, more to himself than anything else. His ear flicked back in embarrassment.

She halted her laugh, her face reddened as she looked a bit apologetic. "I am sorry, that was so rude of me." She was also quite embarrassed. She had not meant to be rude at all, just trying to make light of the subject.

"It is fine," he muttered, acutely embarrassed. Which he supposed match, since she was just acute... er.. cute.
