Rumors usually had a grain of truth to them, and keeping one's ear low to the ground allowed them to gain insight in all sorts of matters. Underworld had been found. Not Nergal. No, it seemed the Lord of the Dead was still playing recluse, and not even the Goddess of Music knew where he lay--or so it was whispered. It was a pity. He'd wished to reunite with Nergal now that he could walk the lands again...
...but if his other half had returned, Mang was all too delighted to seek her out in turn.
That was his reason for wandering the halls of the Pantheon today, amber eyes roaming over each face he passed for some sort of hint or sign of his quarry. You're so embarrassing. Laurence muttered. You look like you're stalking something. What, with the claws and horns and tail... You think so? Well, clearly I'm not trying hard enough. "Excuse me," Shuo said sweetly to the next person he saw. "I'm having a dilemma, I'm afraid. May I request your assistance?"
He resisted the urge to smirk as he heard Laurence groaning audibly with embarrassment.

The person happened to be a woman, though she was dressed like a man in a simple shirt, trousers tucked into her boots and a sword on her back. She was tall too with a muscular build, her skin as pale as the mane of white hair that hung in a plait down her back.
Sanngrigor had been out for her usual practice in the gardens and was making her way back to the rooms of the Spirit guide when the stranger spoke to her. He was a god, though she was merely a Valkyrie she could certainly feel it. His tone was very polite, though she regarded him with cool, emotionless blue eyes.
"I am here to serve my Lord." She answered honestly, her voice was deep and suited her rough appearance. "What do you need?"

What a fascinating woman. Shuo took his time in looking her over, though he certainly did not delay in responding to her. "I have heard that Lady Underworld has awoken after her long slumber." Such pale skin. He'd never seen a shade... or, if he had, he did not recall.
"I would very much like to meet her." He and Underworld worked closely together in the past, and it would be essential for them to renew such a partnership once more.
"Don't let it trouble you if you do not know. I am Shuo Huang Zhe." He offered a mostly human hand to her, his eyes bright. "I have not the pleasure of meeting you, either. May I ask your name?"
If he could not find Underworld this day, a mortal would do just fine!
