With the update, I intend on making the three academies, Hope, Merlin and Ravencrest play a larger role in the world of Occulas and the Land of Crows. Alongside these, i would also like Asmodius College to have more of an influence too. This way i think we can diversify the age ranges of characters and have a more dynamic role-playing experience.
Asmodius College will require veterans, perhaps those that have survived courageous missions, perhaps even fended off some Scarred in the past. Or even high ranking soldiers will do. Most of the time these soldiers would have given up their status within the army to be able to teach in stead.
Unlike Asmodius College, the three academies are not training it's students for any possible war. To begin with, Merlin Academy would require all kinds of magicians and scientists that span from herbology, arcane rituals, elemental magic and even technology - or if you're feeling adventurous, Technological Arcanicity (the combination of both arcane magic and technology). Hope would require teachers that know the basics; language, science etc etc as well as physical and some magic training. Hope emphasizes the allowance of its students to train in their chosen path, whether it be melee or ranged. Keep in mind that Hope Academy's major distinction is that all of the students design and craft their own weapons. Lastly, but not least, is Ravencrest Academy. This academy is the pin-point of education after Merlin, Asmodius or Hope. For anyone not attending regular schools etc etc in Magic Earth, but are attending the academies, Ravencrest is usually the place to secure a place in. Requiring excellent progress in other schools, the best teacher's are expected to train and perfect the chosen few to help them graduate as a Caster. This means, teachers that show excellence in perhaps archery, in melee combat or even magic combat, or perhaps it is the ultimate defence teacher that shows cunning skill in defensive wards and runes.
If anyone would like to create a 'teacher' character, please feel free to add one to your character's thread and please contact me so that i personally take a look myself and approve it. Any other character, be it student or just a casual member of society or what ever you so wish to create doesn't require contacting me, if there's a problem with them i'll probably find it. Once approved, post them here.
