Well, her last prank had gone particularly better than expected!

Rubbing an itch off her freckled nose, Gwyn was racing hard and fast towards the Student Dormitories (which was a challenge considering the icy paths). She couldn't help the proud smile that kept tugging at her lips. But cach, her face kept itching! Adrenaline was a double-edged sword. Not that she was complaining. She loved to be tricky, and she loved to run. It was a win-win, itches aside.

What could she say? Pranking people was fun! And what was even more fun were the reactions of those she pranked. Sure, lots of students could change into things, or were other things, but to pretend to be a completely wild hare, mannerisms and all, and then catch somebody off-guard was hysterical. But not everybody thought it was hysterical.

And in Gwyn's case at present, a rather large and angry somebody was not amused.

Legs pumping at near rabbit-like speeds, Gwyn was focused on getting to her dorm room as fast as possible. It was like touching base in a game of tag. She had probably lost whoever was chasing her by then, but the game wasn't over until she reached her room. That was just part of the fun. With that much focus and energy directed towards one thing--one single monumental goal of smile-inducing escape--there was hardly room in her brain for anything else. Namely, watching just where she was going.

Within an instant, something very pink seemed to materialize out of thin air (which tends to happen when one turns a corner as fast as Gwyn did), and Gwyn and whatever the pink figure was collided. Gwyn nearly somersaulted mid-air as she toppled forwards, eventually slamming into the snow-covered ground with a thud and an audible groan.

Great...ghost... She was dead. Everything was black. Oh, wait, she just had her eyes closed.

Attempting to roll over with another groan, Gwyn dared to open her eyes to see just what she had run into.

Wanting to escape the repulsive smells of the creepateria, Lute had been in route to the library. Head tucked down and rosy gaze on the ground as per-normal she didn't see what was coming right for her. As such when it hit, a surprised shriek clawed its way out of the ghouls throat before the sound of her thudding against the cold ground took over.

It hurt, oh jack it hurt, and by it that meant everything. Every fiber of her frail petite body was aching from both the impact of the other body and from the cold snowy ground. Hearing the groan from the offender, she opened her eyes on one of her own. Who? What, she kept thinking before seeing the other laying on the ground in front of her. After just laying there for a moment her legs shifted then she sat upright on her aching bottom. The world was spinning as she glanced around, a chill of frosty air biting at her left arm now where it hadn't before.

The chill had brought a shiver, though one she pushed off to the pain she felt. However, little to her knowledge her long-sleeved blouse was now torn. Now there was a gash in the sleeve near her elbow that was likely created when she skidded across the ground moments ago.

Not wanting to risk a confrontation, Lute was already trying to scurry after her book that landed near creature that had collided with her and apologize. Though standing at the moment wasn't happening since her legs were shaking to badly to stand, so instead the ghoul was scooting across the ground on her knees. "I-i..um.." Lute felt so anxious and dizzy she could barely speak to the one that was now looking towards her. A deep blush set across her pale, now slightly dirty face as she tried to apologize again, "that is...I-..should have been...and.." Her voice trailed off, hand lifting to try to hide behind her sleeve.

She dimmed visibly behind the sleeve, rosy eyes starting to water up and threatening to spill over thanks to building anxiety. She couldn't do this and the thought of this repeated in her head as she shuddered on the ground.

Slightly bewildered and feeling something surrealistic, Gwyn watched the pink-haired girl inch about on her knees and listened to her fumble over her words. The words didn't register at all, however, at least not at first. But once she caught sight of the sleeve that was attempting to hide the girl's face, reality came crashing back down.

The sleeve was ripped.

With an utterly horrified gasp, Gwyn scrambled across the ground toward the girl and grabbed at the air surrounding the girl's arm.

"Did you tear this because of me?!" she exclaimed, not noticing the social anxiety the girl was experiencing. Guilt gnawed at her stomach and she grabbed at her hood.

"I am so, so sorry," she began streaming sadly, but suddenly shook herself into seriousness. Her next set of words came out like a solemn oath. "I can fix it." No, she would fix it. Without waiting for response, she attempted to help the girl to her feet, and help herself to stand in the process. Her body's fatigue wore off and she instead focused on one single task: sewing the girl's clothes back together.

"I have a full sewing set in my room, this way!" she said, pulling the sleeve with a strange mix of care and urgency. She was going to fix things no matter what--definitely!

The gasp was off putting but when the other fumbled over Lute was a bit dumbfounded as to why she was grasping at air. Was there something around her she couldn't see? With this school Lute would not be too surprised if that was the case. Still hiding though now peeking with watery orbs out to the other she watched her, floppy ears and head tilting curiously.

"I-i uh..tear?" Clearly by the stumbled answer she had no idea that the tear was even there. But before she got a chance to look over the tear, the other ghoul started to apologize. A sound that had her cheeks tinting the color of her hair, bringing up her opposite hand she waved it furiously to get the other to stop. Trying to let her know it was really ok but unable to muster the strength to speak much more. The next words to come from the others mouth however were a bit shocking, they weren't forceful but Lute couldn't find a way around them.

With an open mouth but before she could interject, the ghoul was pulling her gently and she was being helped to her feet and then pulled along with the promise of a sewing kit. "I...well....ok." No wasn't something she was good at and besides she told herself as her hooves clacked against the ground to follow the other, she just wanted to make things right. "...That is...thank you..but um, you really don't have to?" Lute gave the other ghoul a sheepish smile.
