Why was Roland in the Moon lounge? That was a good question, he was looking for Peyton, she wasn't around the Sun hangouts, mostly the training grounds. So he started checking every cranny he could find and somehow this lead him to the Moon's.
Roaming about he caught a glimpse of someone sitting in a chair, from behind the hair matched the same mix of colors that would suite Peyton just fine.
Moving over he reached over the chair tapping Peyton (who was really Maebe ) on the shoulder, "Hey Pey, where have you been I've been texting you all morning and you haven't picked up."

Maebe was taking a nap. It wasn't really a nap, but more of a lounge, where her mind drifted in and out of sleep and her body rested lazily on the chair. Her head dipped every so often, tilting up again when she woke up. She was worn out.Someone tapped her on the shoulder, and she stretched in response. Her arms rose up into the air, and her legs straightened out, until her whole body was arched in a pleasant, fulfilling stretch. But when it was done, her arms had wound their way around whoever had woken her up, and she brought them back down until she was hugging them like a teddy bear. A second or two passed in complete silence. Her eyes were still closed. Then, finally; "I'm not Peyton, but I'd pick up if you texted me." Her eyes fluttered open, and she was delighted to see a new face in her arms. Deus, you were starting to grow on her.

The moment the girl started to stretch out he realized he had made some sort of mistake. This most surely wasn't Peyton, and it was all but confirmed by the way she reached up tugging him over the chair and into her lap.
His face was ablaze almost instantly as she practically cooed at him, "I erm, I'm sorry I uh woke you um. We haven't met." He shivered a bit blinking. "Er.... R-Roland. You are...?"

"That's all right." She patted his chest gently. "I was obviously waiting for a Prince Charming to wake me up, anyway. It's a pleasure to meet you, Roland." Her hand turned, so that the back of it was against his chest while her palm was turned up in the universal sign of a handshake. "I'm Maebe. Why were you looking for Peyton?"

Each pat on his chest caused him to jump ever so slightly. The last time he had been like this had been, well it had been when Nevada still knew who he was and hadn't cheated on him. The length of time that was escaped him entirely at the moment.
"I ah wouldn't call myself charming or anything I just..." He looked at the hand back at her and back to the hand again, very slowly he moved his own hand to shake her's. "Well I um, it's a bit of a story but I kind of owe her lunch of sorts? You wouldn't happen to know where she is?"

He was jumpy. She made a note of it, and her expression lightened with sweet tenderness. Her head shook sadly, followed by a thick pout. "I don't. I haven't seen her in days, she seems really busy. I wish I could help you more, but she just seems so hard to get in contact with lately. I wonder why." Her shoulders rose and fell in a tragic sigh. "Seems like everyone is too busy, doesn't it? Sometimes I worry I'm doing something wrong. I don't know."

Roland only pouted at her pout, there was a lot of pouting going on in this chair, on this lap. Wait he was still on her lap. Why was he still on her lap!? << Oh my so cute. >>
< Shut up, don't you dare start! >
Sylvia fell silent again thankfully. For now.
"Well we're kinda trying to stop the end of the world. You know, our job?" He squirmed in her lap a bit looking around for some kind of way out, he wasn't being held in place really but he wasn't sure how to get away any less. "What do you mean by doing it wrong?"

She did not hold him. If he figured out how to get out of her lap, she let him, and simply looked all the sadder for being left alone. There was a tightness in her eyes when he mentioned saving the world, and she bit back the retort that came screaming to the surface. He thought they were heroes. Remind you of anyone?Maebe's interest began to wane. "Being a Hunter. I'm not very good at it, and maybe, that's why Pey doesn't answer my texts. Or anyone." Interest or not, it was just too easy to lie through her teeth. She curled her hand against her cheek, and sighed. "Sorry. I don't want to dump my problems on a sweetheart like you. I'm just lonely. I'll figure something out."

Some how in all the squirming Roland had slid down in her lap, almost laying across her lap and the chair now as she seemed to grow distant and continued to pout.
"I don't think you're "good" at being a hunter..." He offered as he squirmed about trying to sit up a bit more and in the end resting his head on the arm of the chair for his efforts. "You just get really lucky and don't end up dead." He shrugged a bit, "If it's any consolation I'm pretty sure that a purple tentacled freak is somewhere in the world currently plotting my death and torture as we speak for lopping it's head off the last time I ran into it." He squirmed a bit more, for a moment he almost seemed serious when he spoke again.
"We're all a bit lonely out here. A reoccurring... issue. We tend to have." With that he slipped in her lap again and completely fell off and onto the floor with a pathetic groan.

All his squirming stole her pouts away for a softer, purse lipped smile. It fell when he mentioned lopping a tentacle monsters head off, because ew, but she was quick to pick it back up again. She just watched him try his best to have a conversation, and console a lonely girl, while squirming ridiculously in her lap. He failed, of course, and slammed onto the floor. A single snatch of laughter escaped her, before she reeled herself back in and bent down to look at him. She was folded against herself, her body pressed against her knees, and all that Peyton hair came cascading down in rolls of color and light. She grinned down at him, her expression the picture of absolute joy. The only laughter she allowed now, was rolling giggles. Cute ones."Are you okay?" She offered in between giggles.

Roland was anything but good at this. By some grace Nevada liked him because of his awkwardness and good intentions and it hadn't paid off in the long run for him. This was no different, he wasn't sure what he was doing or why, he was just trying to make things better and feeling like a fool the whole time.
Double that last part as he was now laying on the floor wondering why fear shields could stop a bullet, but couldn't reduce the agony of falling on ones backside from a chair.
"Horribly, I can be stabbed and shot and live, but falling on the floor still manages to hurt and it's horribly embarrassing...." Case in point he made no move to get up as Sylvia was now howling with laughter in his head causing more discomfort. "And my weapon seems to think this is all just the funniest thing..."
<< IT IS! >>
That last shout made him flinch, thank you Sylvia.

Maebe slid off of the chair to join him on the floor, and offered him a helping hand up. "It's not embarrassing. You're over-reacting. You fell, you didn't s**t your pants." She settled him back up into a seated position, and reached around to press her fingers expertly against his lower back. Right on the tailbone. "Here, let me help." She offered, kneading the sore area. "Is this where it hurts?"

Suddenly she was beside him again, it seemed his escape was for naught now as he was suddenly being propped into the chair again "Okay. You make a valid point." Settling in the chair he relaxed a bit, he didn't even have a chance to reach back and rub his tail bone as Maebe was already doing that for him.
"Erm! Y-yeah that's the spot...." he was blushing again.

Her smile turned crooked when she caught sight of that blush, and her fingers continued to work down his lower back, until they crept upward, pressing expertly against his spine. Thin build, still young. Not quite built, but certainly getting there. He was a boy becoming a man. It didn't matter to her. He was here and he was now and he was wanted."Is that helping?" Her voice had lowered, hushed to little more than a whisper. "I'd want to make sure this feels good."

Thankfully his spine was okay, no scars, no damage, just the growth of muscle in general and strength slowly growing as his body adjusted to his new life style and work out.
Every touch however caused him to squirm about yelping slightly as that hand slid lower and lower before retreating back up causing him to shiver none the less.
"I-it h-helps but it f-feels eerrk!"
