Chayse sighed contentedly as she lay next to her three new foals, sleeping silently. Every so often one of them would twitch or knicker in their sleep. She smiled at the sweet faces of her young brood.
Preston lay sunning on a tree branch nearby, keeping watch...when he wasn't napping. Arctic had gone to see his sister, leaving Chayse to care for the children. Chayse didn't mind him being gone, as it gave her extra cuddle time with the foals.

 Calamity was not feeling in the best mood. The one that she had pledged to be with her entire life had decided to leave, and she was once more alone in the world, and that left her feeling rather hurt and abandoned. So she had left the area she had called home, and had gone traveling, hoping that she was not going to encounter another Soquili, though in some way, she also hoped she would run into a kolana or skinwalker so she could tear it apart. Or at least have something that would put up a good fight

Preston's ears twitched as he heard someone approaching. He yawned, and looked around sleepily. Not too far away he noticed a brown and white Soquili approaching where he and his family were. Being a good familiar, Preston called to Chayse, letting her know that someone unfamiliar was close by.
Chayse raised her head at the warning of her familiar. She got to her feet and stepped forward, away from the still sleeping foals. She looked to Preston whose gaze was focused on the stranger and redirected her attention to this newcomer.
Chayse was a bit nervous, not knowing the intentions of this other Soquili. She tried to remain calm, as the mare grew closer.
