「 COMPANION ✿ PETS 」████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████
✿ █ INSECTS 》 Many pets the mice and rats keep are insects, as they are small and plentiful.
✿ █ BUTTERFLIES 》Butterflies are the most popular, as are their similar counterparts, moths. They come in any color, and many sizes. ✿ █ FLIES 》 Flies are another pet, though more popular in the north where they flourish. They are a sacred animal to Pirena, the goddess of death. They can be colorful as well, and trained.
✿ █ AMPHIBIANS 》 Another sort of pet mice and rats keep are amphibians, especially those who live on a coast or near water, where they like to live.
✿ █ FROGS & TOADS 》Colorful, numerous, and come in many sizes, frogs and toads are rather popular as pets. Larger toads are sometimes used as mounts by witches and other commoners. Tiny frogs are especially popular with young mice. ✿ █ NEWTS 》 More conventionally attractive, these also make good pets for mice and rats who live near the water. They are more colorful than toads, and their tails fall off sometimes!

「 MOUSE & RAT ✿ MOUNTS 」████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████
✿ █ DEERLINGS 》 Small, genetically modified and specially-bred deer to become the perfect size for a mouse or rat to ride and use to carry cargo and wagons. Often seen as superior to hares because of their stronger and faster hooves, and their ability to travel easily on mountains. More seen around rat communities, as the creators of the species, but often purchased by wealthy mice, and used in the militia. They can come in nearly any natural color, though all have fawn-like spots. ✿ █ RABBITS 》 The other choice of a ground mount, rabbits are popular for their cheapness and ability to breed rapidly, unlike deerlings. Although not as strong, they have more stamina than a deerling, and are better for long travel. In the north, they are a must have for their winter coat and better withstanding to cold weather. Most commoners own a rabbit , and they can be comparable to horses in Panya's Forest. ✿ █ BIRDS 》 Swift and perfect for traveling over land and sea, birds are incredibly valuable as mounts. Though most often used by militia member, many mice own a bird (where few rats own a bird, due to their larger size). When delivering light things, such as mail, they are well-desired, and bigger birds are perfect for war, while tiny hummingbirds are decorative, such as the Queen's personal bird.
✿ █ SONGBIRDS 》 The easiest to train of all birds, and the most common. Any other sort of bird is incredibly rare, and dangerous at times. They include sparrows, robins, jays and cardinals, among others. ✿ █ CROWS 》 Though easy to train, they are hard to acquire, and even as hand-raised chicks, crows prove to be difficult to keep due to their intelligence. If you can keep a crow, they prove to be beyond worth as a mount. They require a lot of upkeep and praise, as well as treats.
✿ █ HAWKS & OWLS 》 Hawks and owls, as well as other birds of prey, are the most dangerous to acquire and the most likely to turn and devour their rider. They must be gathered as an egg, and carefully tended to. If successful, a bird of prey mount is wonderful in battle and will pick off your enemies with ease. It's illegal to own one without permission from the Guard, for safety.

「 PREDATOR ✿ INFORMATION 」████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████
✿ █ FOXES 》 Small, agile and deadly. Foxes are a common predator, especially in forests and the north. The thicker the woods, the more likely an encounter is. ✿ █ WOLVES 》 Not as big as the real-world version, these creatures are like foxes in their body shape and agility, but they are deadly for their packs. They are hard to defeat. ✿ █ SNAKES 》 Slinky serpents that live below the earth, they can b dangerous to solo mice and rats in the woods, as they are quick and have many ways to kill. ✿ █ SHADOWCATS 》 Known better as cats, these mountain beasts are the perfect killer, but thankfully seldom seen. They require more than brute force to kill. ✿ █ BIRDS OF PREY 》 Hawks, owls and other birds of prey are a danger that require aerial battle or quite a few arrows. They are dangerous for the ability to pick off specific mice. When they do attack, they tend to be localized and only kill a few mice or rats, and are relatively easy to take down when battle happens.

「 OTHER ✿ ANIMALS 」████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████
✿ █ DRAGONS 》 Better thought of as a creature of legend, these large creatures have a poisonous bite and a worse attitude. They are seldom reported, though those who live on Dragonwing would say otherwise.
✿ █ UNICORNS 》 Another legendary creature, this beast is said to only care for maidens. The same size as a deeling, with its pure white fur and single horn, it's said to be the most beautiful creature in the world...
✿ █ MANTICORES 》 The body of a shadowcat and the tail of a scorpion, these monsters are rarely seen and said to have died out ages ago. Some rumor they were playthings of Pepon, and why he is cursed with a scorpion's tail.
✿ █ SEA SERPENTS 》 Terrible beats of the oceans, they were said to swallow whole ships long ago, and that only a brave hero with a pure heart could slay them.
✿ █ FAERIES 》 Small, magical, mischievous creatures that look like small crystalline mice with wings and slitted eyes, faeries have been said to roam the deep forests for ages. Rumors also abound of mice who have the blood of fae within them, and can trace their lineage to halfblood faeries for generations.
