 How long had it been since she last just, relaxed like this? She had been so busy raising her two boys that she just couldn't. Cabel had tried to help but they both seemed to before to live in the water with her. She had just been, too busy. Too busy for anything. So it was her time. She had simply told Ahto that she was going to relax and relax she was! With her canteen full of water from the Water Element Globe and her cub with her, she was out in the world! Or at least the forest. She was leaning against a tree on the edge, letting her legs soak up the sun. It was nice just to relax, she smiled to herself and closed her eyes. She let out a content sigh. This was good. This was really good. She could get used to this. Just her and the sounds of nature.

 The had been well...She left when it started to spiral into a love making fest. Without Ruby. She had searched but came up empty. The last thing she wanted to do was end up in the pile. Ruby knew were the city was. She just hoped her friend was ok.
Being alone that night gave her time to get some of her items ready. Her 'twig' had been carefully carved to change it from just a stick to something more beautiful. A simple wand really. She couldn't explain it but it simply felt like the right thing to do. She was happy with it. In the morning she had managed to trade for a few items. A hilt and a belt, both for the sword. She wasn't too sure how she was suppose to carry it any other way. The belt also provided a place to hold her want as well. The medallion was the easiest one. She simply wore it around her neck. Three items down, there was one left.
The water protection.
That was her current mission and why she was out of the city once again. She needed that water protection. The party had resulted in less Naiads then she was hoping for, nor did she stick around long enough to look for a cup either. She didn't want to get humped by one of those heretics. Urrrg.
Rosette frowned as she walked along, heading towards the lake. Where else was she going to find one of those heretics but in the water? Even then, what would she do then? It wasn't like she could breath underwater. She sighed as she thought about how she was to do this. Guardians help her.
Rosette stopped to look around. She had stopped paying attention, lost in her thoughts. Oh bother. Where was she now? While trying to get her barrings she spotted a white and blue lady resting under a tree. Prefect. Perhaps she knew this location better. Rosette made a b line towards the stranger, not noting anything different until she got a bit closer. This lady had fins...What a stroke of luck! A naiad! The Guardians had led her to one of them! Now she could complete her quest. The stranger hadn't noticed her yet, in fact she seemed to be asleep. Perfect, this allowed her some time to think. How should she get the cup? She had her sword, it would be the easiest way to just demand it but...How would Harveer think of her then? She bit her lip, thinking of her friend. Even though they both referred to them as heretics, was violence really the answer? How would the Guardians view her if she did use the sword? It was meant for protection after all. It just didn't feel right. No. She'd try to talk the token out of the naiad. This was the best option.
"You there, Naiad. May I have a word with you? It is of most importance." Rosette spoke as she walked closer to the heretic. Guardians guide her words.

Zinerva blinked as a voice called out to her. "Wha?" Importance? The Naiad scrambled into a sitting postion and looked to the voice. A pure red angel stood before her. She blink again at all the items the angel seem to have as well. Was that a sword? Why would anyone need a weapon on this beautiful day. Zinerva couldn't help but tense slightly simply knowing the other had a weapon. Hopefully the other wouldn't need to use it. "I'm am confused. Importance? I haven't heard anything that would be viewed as important." The world just seemed so peaceful at the moment.
"Yes, of most importance." Rosette let of a breath as she repeated herself. Rosette hadn't even made eye contact. She was looking straight at the tree. She sounded more like an army general then her normal self. "I have been placed on a quest for the Guardians an item in your possession at this very moment. I only ask to borrow it for a time." Maybe.

Zinerva was becoming more and more confused. Something in her possession? She really didn't have anything with her. Also this angel mentioned the Guardians? She wasn't too sure what that was about. She thought about it for a moment, reminded of how Aquos mentioned them once or twice, though more when he was frustrated then anything else. She never really asked. Then again Aquos was a bit weird. Spent more time in the water then in the on the land. "I'm afraid I'm not following you madam. I'm unsure of how to help you."
Right, she needed to tell the heretic these things. Her eyes finally unglued themselves from the tree and to the cup besides Naiad. "I believe I need that," She pointed to the cup. "For the protection I need."

The cup? Zinerva slowly picked up her cup and looked it open. Looked like a normal shell cup to her. Or was it normal. "I am confused. How can one little object offer protection. Protection from what, might I ask as well?"
Rosette fidgeted for the first time. "I'm...Not to sure." Since she began speaking she had been so ridged and distant. Now she sounded unsure and slightly scared. "All I know is I require items from earth, water, air, fire. The water protection is in the form of a cup."
Zinerva thought for a moment, Elemental protection, from what? What could be so strong that they needed protection from so many areas? Zinerva slowly got to her feet. "Walk with me, please." Zinerva got a funny look from the angel, but the angel did not protest. The two began to walk towards the lake, silently.

The walk back to the lake was quiet, neither lady sad a word. Rosette had tensed slightly, wondering if this was a trap while Zinerva, Zinerva remained calm and silent, her only action was to rehydrate herself every now and again by taking a sip of water from her cup. There was nothing else beyond the natural sounds of natural and soon, the sound of the waves against the sand of the beach. Once Zinerva felt the water on her feel she turned to the stranger. "I'm still confused about this whole thing, the request and your quest. More so, I fear whatever needs such projection from the elements. To need so many, it must be strong. If there even is an 'it'." She paused and thought for a moment, thinking before offering her cup over to the stranger. "I do know one thing, from the sound of it you need this more than I do at the moment. I would like it back but...If it is destroyed then there is nothing I can do. I will simply have to deal with it." She watched as Rosette tentatively took the cup from her. "I wish you good luck in your quest. Do be safe."
Rosette look to the cup for a moment. Could something so simple really save her? What DID she get herself into? It was too late now though. All there was left to do was to wait. Rosette looked to the stranger and nodding. "Thank you. I will return it once I am done." Her reply was met with a nod from the naiad before the stranger turned and walked into the waves. After some wading she dived in, her tail splashing against the surface then she was gone. Rosette stared at the water, lost, before looking at the cup. She was done her quest. She sighed and turned towards the city, flapping her wings to get into the air. The was nothing else to do but wait. Wait and see what fate had in stored for her.
