Early morning was a good time to find targets- in a city as large as Destiny City there were a lot of business types trying to get their exercise in pre-dawn, shower and commute to some office job. It was less patrolled by the enemies of the Negaverse from all accounts of Titanlåvenite's own experience as well. It made sense- teenagers didn't like getting up early, but sure liked staying up late. Schools being in session helped that aspect, since most would need to be in bed by no later than 4 if they wanted to be even vaguely capable of functioning for getting up at 7 to make first bell.

He started out gathering energy at 4, making his way to near the DCU campus. His purpose there, though, was not to take energy. He wondered if he would find Babylon again, or some other interesting person protecting the gates of knowledge and higher learning. The Lieutenant respected some of the old mysticism that surrounded scribes into modern day- he didn't hunt for quota at schools.

He did feel an aura near, as he strode along the sleepy, quiet campus full of sleeping students and sleeping classrooms. It felt like a scout, so he moved to try to intercept it.

It was exactly a scout! One that was hurrying along the street and not even a little bit cautious by taking to rooftops or otherwise. It could be an easy target- or...it was the University. He didn't want to fight at the University now any more than he had when he'd found Babylon. He needed to adhere to that- learning places were no place for war. At least fighting. Maybe this one could be convinced to come home willing and to join as a brother instead of bound as a prisoner and present to the generals.

Titanlåvenite slowed to a walk, approaching from opposite the man on the street. He was trying to be very visible, and very casual. Lifting a giant paw palm up and out he called out, "Ho, scout. It is early to be out and so cold."

"You do not have a coat?"
Or pants, it seems.

"What you wear before you are in uniform is gone until you take your uniform off. You should leave your coat on the chair until after you are transformed, then put it on. You can wear things over them, " he offered out his hand to tale Prometheus' in a friendly greeting. The other was stammering and had offered a smile- it was cute and a little tragic. How is he going to survive in a fight?

"Titanlåvenite, but you can call me Titan. It is easier. "

"Were you headed somewhere specific? I could walk with you? Or have you on shoulder- it would be warmer for your feet. I have finished my duties for tonight, so it is no trouble to take some time to help out someone new. You are new to the White Moon, ja? A cat talked to you and gave you magic?"

"Patrolling is probably a good word for it. But what you are looking for is important to know. And where to find it. And how. Otherwise you're just walking around getting cold feet, " the lieutenant smiled.

The stutter and blush were unmistakable- the little senshi thought he was hot. It was a pleasant ego boost and recognition of hard work, but a kindness as well for things not in Titan's own control and manicure. Different for me? Feel different?

It took a moment to register the full import- this senshi was painfully new. So new he knew nothing, it seemed. Or at least not as much as he should of the war to be safe out on the street. Hadn't his space cat told him he was in a war?"

"Not so much. No space cat for me. A great general reached into me and gave me the power to protect Earth. Along with others. ...actually from your kind. I'm a lieutenant of the organization called the Negaverse. We're actually enemies. Your cat didn't tell you or...teach you what auras meant? I should feel different, that's a good start. Focus on that feel a moment- if you're out on nights 'patrolling' if you feel someone like me, or who feels like I do but....a lot more...then you might have a fight on your hands. "

"A real fight. Prometheus, ...what did your cat teach you? It is really dangerous if you didn't know that. It is a war. People die, on both our sides. And in the middle. " Dangerous and really mean. No, not mean- it was cruel. Prometheus looked youngish, too young to just be thrown into the fire without even the warning that it would burn. "We at least get briefing, meetings, training in combat. Do the space cats just magic you and leave you ? You'd get killed that way and never take over any planet or get back to your own. "

Titan's mouth pulled into a wry line, "No, I do not intend to beat you. It...it is too much, Prometheus."

"These cats and these other high lords and ladies with their magic. They take your oaths and leave you to die. It is not right. " He clenched and unclenched a large hand before heaving a sigh. "I just wish that they told you more about what was going on before expecting you to risk everything. I can try to tell you things, and answer your questions. You would be better with us, with training and brothers and sisters to stand by you. "

"Please...let me walk with you. We can keep the lives of this planet safe together, and I can keep yours safe. If you are hoping to keep people safe, that is a good and right reason to put yourself at risk. It is honourable. "

"I am not so sure..." There were very good sayings about Assumptions.

Titan found place at Prometheus' side, gently ushering a hand to the small of the young man's back to urge him to walk again as they talked. "There are senshi that are part of our ranks. They swore their fealty to the General Kings and General Queens, to the thrones of the negaverse and her forces that protect the Earth. The Negaverse claims this world as its sovereign. All senshi bear the name of another world. So you have a world far away in the stars."

He motioned to the sky, looking up himself uncertainly as he did so. "The king is the land, and the land is the king. Only Earth, which belongs to the Negaverse, still has living people and living civilizations. Every other one is dead, all the senshi planets and the knight wonders. But they are yours. And you are the noble of that place, of Prometheus. "

"So in being on Earth, if you did not mean war you would seek the approval of the nobles here to pass their lands. Or to ask pardon to buy supply from here, or to dwell here. And it would be up to them to grant it. Most senshi never do, so they are unlawful, and it is considered an act of war. "

"If you meet senshi who wear all black with their arms colours, and have black stars on their brow, then they are senshi who have sought pardon with the General Kings, who have been granted it, and who have joined their fealty here. "
