 It was a wonderful night for a stroll. At least Sergio thought so. There were a few clouds in the sky blocking out the stars, but that only made the night more interesting. It created more shadows to enrich the landscape.
The path he walked was paved with bricks and had been in the park for ages. He often came here when he was feeling lonely. He stopped by a tree where a young couple was making out to get a bite to eat. It was messy, but less messy than if he'd just drank from one and killed it. They'd both wake up with a hangover like feeling the next day and be fine with plenty of fluids.
He stopped at an outcropping to stare up at the sky. The stars were playing hide and seek with the clouds and he took time to enjoy that.

 Rhiannon like any full fledged vampire could only travel at night, if they travelled during the day, they would be dust even before they got to their destination. A small sigh escaped her lips as she strolled around soaking in the night light and breeze. It had almost been like forever since she had last ventured out. She looked around at her surroundings to see what she could see, especially at night everything she saw became clear. She paused and flicked her mane out of her eyes, her tail swishing to and fro idly. It was definitely a beautiful night for a evening stroll.

Back on his stroll, Sergio soaked up the night. As he rounded a bend in the path his eyes fell upon another creature like himself. Except for she was a she and she was lovely. He made his way over to her, "Good evening , Miss. How wonderful it is to see another like myself out. I was beginning to think we were a dying breed!" He bowed toward her in greeting. "I am Sergio, at your service."

She paused in her stroll as she noticed another like herself "oh, hello" she said before continuing "technically we are a dying race but every so often i do see another" she finished. She nodded politely at him "nice to meet you Sergio, my name is Rhiannon or as my family calls me Rhia" she said with a light smile. This male intrigued her since it was the first time she had encountered a male like her family.

Sergio laughed, "You do have a point. We are all what others call dead." He continued to smile, "Rhiannon. What a lovely name for a lovely lady. It truly suits you. Would you care to walk with me?"

Rhiannon smiles lightly "exactly that, and then they freak out when its dark and around us and go 'you are going to suck my blood' its really quite saddening" she told hi, before putting efforts into lighting up the mood. "Ahh, thank you. I would love to walk with you" she put in

He nodded, "It is hard for others to understand and accept what they do not know. I'm afraid they end up fearing us because of that." Sergio met her smile with one of his own, "Shall we then? There is still plenty of night left."

Rhiannon nodded her head lightly "that's because they don't put the effort into getting to know us before saying that" she frowned lightly and nodded her head once again "yes, we shall and this is true the night is still young" she put in cheerily.

Sergio started walking, "You are most correct. Most of us are charming, misunderstood creatures. Just because some of us are up to nefarious deeds does not mean that we all are."

She nodded her head agreeing with him " this is true, i know for myself i don't do nefarious deeds, i just want friends, a lover and a family" she put lightly before strolling down the path with a flick of her tail.

She blew out a breath "i hope so too" she said swishing her tail to and fro idly. "I hope you find everything you want in this lifetime as well" she put in politely.

"I thank you kindly for your well wishes. I believe that I am well on my way to finding that which I seek." Sergio slowed his pace, "You see, you are helping me, though you do not know it." The dark pony's cheeks tinted purple with a faint blush. "I have always wanted to be friends with a woman. Not one that I intended to dine on. I'm afraid that I've so few friends, and even fewer of them vampire, that it is nice to be in the company of one who is. Though I assure you, my desires are completely platonic at this point." Sergio smiled sheepishly and rubbed a hoof on the back of his head. "Forgive me. I tend to babble when I'm nervous..."

She tilted her head to the side as she stopped beside him "Well, I'm glad to hear that. Actually,I Don't have that many friends either, they are usually afraid of me or finding friends who are the same as me, is a rare sighting, since our entire life since birth we are in the darkness and shadows" she put in. She smiled lightly as he babbled on, finding it very cute. "I'm sure everyone does when they are nervous,but may I ask why you are nervous?" she asked him politely.
