 Name: Takeru Junai Age: 16
A child with eccentric dress, but he spent everything he had to get it and now lives in a back alley. It's not all bad. The constant rain gives him the means to always wash his clothes and get a drink of water from the sky. Though one night, he heard running into the alley. He heard screaming and then he looked. He saw a butcher knife, he saw a body fall and in the light of the lightning. A flash of the murderer's eyes. It scared him, tried to tell the police but they simply got him a therapist as he wasn't able to completely voice what he saw.

Preparations are made between him and his customers to make sure he gets his money back but not everyone sticks to their contract. Those who stray from the contract get put down.

It had already been a long day. Only three people since ten this morning came to see him, one right after another but they were three of his most difficult patients. At least his next patient was new and posed a new challenge for him, at least that's what the police had stated. Apparently this boy had been through a horrible trauma but the police wouldn't tell him what exactly the boy had been through. He decided it was time to find out. Jared rose from his desk chair, having already dismissed his previous patient a few minutes ago. He opened his office door which lead to the waiting room with his newest patient. "You must be Takeru. Please come inside and make yourself comfortable." he stated softly, presenting a pleasant smile to invite the boy inside. Apparently the incident happened just a day or two ago, so he knew not to expect much in the boy's first session.

Takeru was sitting outside. He was watching the TV hanging up in the corner of the waiting room. It showed one of those shopping channels where they were displaying some jewelry for the wrist and then a matching necklace piece. He tilted his head before hearing a voice behind him. His head turned and looked at the man, but suddenly his head shot down. He didn't understand why. He stood up and walked into the room, sitting down on the chair. He didn't lift his head.

Since the paperwork for his new patient had already been filled out by the police and district attorney, there was less to worry about. Jared sat in his desk chair again and gestured the boy toward his couch which was behind a small glass coffee table with a little bowl of assorted hard candy. "We will begin shortly. I need to shuffle some papers around first. Help yourself to some candy." He said softly, putting away his last patient's file and creating a new one for Takeru. "Okay Takeru. I understand the police sent you here but they weren't clear about the reason. I want to let you know that whatever is said here stays here. You don't have to tell me anything you don't want me to know. You're in complete control. With that being said....how are you today??" As he spoke he wrote his patients name and date at the top of his notepad, ready for notes.

Takeru watched the man sit at his desk and began to tell the patient what he already knew from the police department. He was an incoherent babbler who needed to get his head straight. He looked at the hard candy and then picked up a piece. He didn't unwrap it, just twiddled it between his fingers. The crinkle of the candy wrapper was enough to keep his mind occupied for a good while, well until he heard the question. He didn't look up, now lying down on the couch. "...Fine...I guess.." He spoke after a moment.

He could tell the boy was reluctant to share. That was fine with Jared, the less Takeru talked about the faster Jared could get home for the day. But he knew he had to do a better job than that. "Are you sure? You don't sound fine. Sometimes it helps to talk about things that are bothering you. Talking helps relieve stress; it's good for your health." Takeru didn't seem convinced though. "Are you any good at drawing? Some of my patients like something to do while they're in here. It helps ease their mind and let's them feel more comfortable. I have artist pencils and a sketch pad, a 500 piece jigsaw puzzle, a mini sand garden with small things to put in....anything strike your interest?"

Takeru didn't answer the shrink. making sure to keep his head down. He looked at the man, however, when he heard about little things that could ease Takeru's mind while he was here. "Sand garden?" He asked, that one sounded so unique, who has a mini sand garden? He sat up slightly at that, there was some anticipation, some excitement for this mini sand garden and all it's little accessories.

Jared smirked, humans were so typical. Give them an alternative to exposing their secrets and they'll jump for the opportunity. Provide them with an ultimatum for returning money they owe and they flea like roaches about to be stepped on. Jared stood and made his way across the room where his book case was, taking the small zen garden from the top shelf and placing it on the coffee table before opening a drawer to take out a box with many slots inside housing tiny garden gnomes, porcelain bushes, various small animals and a small rake. He opened the glass top and placed it next to the sand garden. "Please be careful with them." he said softly, sitting in his chair once more and allowing his patient to entertain himself.

Takeru looked at the tiny replica of a sand garden with removable parts and other accessories. He looked at the Therapist and then at the sand garden, he started to pick up the extra pieces and place them, however, out of the many things he could have places. He only placed a few bushes and the small rake at the side. There were so many pieces left out. Takeru would sit back after that.

Jared looked over at the boy curiously. "Thats it?" he asked softly, taking the rake and dragging it through the sand. "You can make some neat little designs in the sand." he said softly but the boy was still bothered. "You look like something is bothering you." he said softly but the boy remained silent. Time to turn on the mobster in him. "You know Takeru....the police are going to keep sending you here until you tell me what happened. So you can keep silent all you want, we'll just keep having more awkward appointments. It's your choice."

Takeru watched the man take the rake and started taking it across the sand, drawing designs on it. He looked up at the man for a brief moment since his eyes were not looking at him at the time. He looked away once the man seemed done with playing with the sand, talking to him...almost in a threatening way. "I don't care." He said in a low voice.

Jared never really admitted to being a good therapist, now did he? There were times he hated his job, this was one of those times. He knew now he was going to have to get the information out of him the hard way. Why couldn't everyone just get intimidated when they were threatened and tell him what he wanted to know? Jared gave a heavy sigh and left the rake in the sand garden, leaning back in his office chair for a few minutes before decided to get a couple soda's from his mini fridge, placing one next to the sand garden for his patient. "Alright....you don't want to talk about what happened. That's alright. What did you do today?" Maybe getting information about his daily routine might help him open up a bit more.

Takeru scoffed. "I woke up in a wooden chair at the police station and was given coffee and toast for breakfast. Then I was told to come here at noon." He said, simply. His mornings were rather hard even back in the alley. He always had to hide his clothes and hoped they wouldn't be stolen. He still was not looking at the therapist.
