Solia found one. He was.. he had to be. More images of his profile came up and with each one, she stared, smile growing wider. A quick form was made and printed. His name at the top, little lines and boxes empty, ready to be filled. Attacked to a clipboard even, pen fastened as to not be lost. Racing down to his dorm, (also in the database, thank you public deus network), Solia knocked on his door. "Hello, Mister Ripley? You home?" She also had her phone camera at the ready.
Just in case.

Ripley had been about to announce that the door was open when he realized he didn't recognize the voice on the other side. The new voice created a need to get up and attend to the visitor personally, and so the trainee put down his book, cast a glance at the wall clock as he passed it, and made his way to his dorm door.
When he opened it, he found a girl he didn't recognize, but that didn't surprise him in the least.
"Good evening, Miss~" He greeted pleasantly. "May I help you?"

Oh dang. He was cute. The glasses. The hair, that use of 'miss' and 'good evening' just rolling off his tongue. Dang he was smooth like butter. Deadly smooth, no wonder he was in her division hot damn son.
"I was looking at newer hunters and noticed you had certain.. qualities. Ones that might lend very well to a future mission. So I've brought you a form. You'll be paid $50 for completing what is listed on this form but-" She didn't show him what said form had on it.
"You must agree to fill it completely first to void your pay."
She wondered if he'd do the glasses thing at some point.
"Also my name is Solia Delacroix! It's nice to meet you death trainee buddy!"

Ripley listened politely, surprised by what he was hearing. Not that there was a mission that he might be able to help on, but that they were going to pay him to fill out a form that didn't guarantee his involvement in said mission. It was strange, but he supposed not all things were pro bono here.
"I'll fill it out to the best of my abilities." He answered, his own way of agreeing without being absolute about it. When she introduced herself though, he made a small hum of realization and shifted his stance. "Ah, yes." Ripley held out his gloved hand. "It's nice to meet you, Solia." There was no point in introducing himself, since she seemed to know his name anyway.
"Would you like to come in?" He offered, leaning to open the door further, enough for her to enter if she so wished.

"Deal's a deal Mister Ripley. Now believe it or not, you seem to have all the quialities of a certain demographic." She shook his hand before entering his room. As much as a 'yes I'd love to come in thank you for asking' as he'd get. "Since you've agreed, let me elaborate. You look to be high quality megane Ripley. Not just your everyday run of the mill guy with glasses. I mean a true megane. It's pretty rare to see one in such a place here so I've made this little form here so we can work it all out. She offered him the clip board. The first questions were: 1- Do you require glasses at all times? 2- Do you use contacts? 3- Are you good at math, science, or any other sort of academia? If yes- what branch and what might you specialize in? 4- Do you have a love for small cute animals? If Yes- what animal? Solia just smiled at him, waiting for him to answer and fill it out.

It was very subtle, but Ripley's eyebrow did twitch once as the words believe it or not left her lips. Between that and the monetary offer, he was now beginning to suspect that this was something of a joke. Perhaps Finn had pressured someone into mocking him. But he listened politely regardless, and closed the door to give them both privacy.
Megane? He had no idea what that meant. In context, perhaps something to do with glasses? Honestly though, it sounded like something Abbi would say to him.
"And megane means...?" He questioned aloud, deciding it was best to ask just to be safe. When the clipboard was offered he took it, staring down at the questions and reading them in turn before looking up at her. This had to be a joke, right? He reached for a pen and set to answer the questions regardless, joke or not. There was still a tiny chance this was legit.

Solia took puns and jokes very seriously, as she did matters of megane or not. It was for science, for fact over fiction. For truth and maybe just knowing how cute a guy could look. "Megane means glasses. As in a certain type of person who wears them and if they may or may not have certain traits or qualities about them due to wearing glasses." Looking at the answers thus far she hummed, nodded, then flipped the paper over. Quote: 5- If someone gave you a boxed lunch what would you say? 6- Name an idea place to eat lunch on a warm spring day. 7- Are you ever late for anything? If you were, what is your to go item for breakfast? 8- How many pairs of glasses do you own? 9- Do you prefer to hang out with people who wear glasses or don't wear glasses? 10- Do you wear gloves regularly? 11- Do you have some sort of authority either now or in the past? 12- Are you a leader or follower? 13- Is there any time you remove your glasses without reason? 14- Do you leave your glasses on? 15- If your glasses are taken from you, what do you do? 16- What would you do if your glasses broke? 17- Do you have bifocals? 18- Preferred color of frames? 19- Wire or plastic frames? 20- How do you lift your glasses up? "Close enough but yes, there is a back side. I assure you once done then You'll have no reason to worry. It's just a harmless form for documentation and whatnot." And letting the island know just how bishonen some boys were.

"I see." He couldn't help but look a little uncertain as she explained to him what megane meant. It sounded like something that went over his head for the most part, but there was one person that came to mind when faced with this sort of thing:
"You wouldn't happen to know Abbi, would you?" Megane sounded like something that belonged with the same group of words Otome did, though he couldn't understand that one, either. The warning bells kept going off in his head, but she seemed sweet enough and the questions, though remarkably odd, seemed harmless overall.
Though he did begin to feel like he was answering a high school student's questionnaire.

"I'm afraid I don't understand what you mean by this question." He turned the clipboard around to show her, indicating the question with a point of his pen. "Especially because of the question it follows." It was important for him to say why he didn't understand it; he couldn't put it in fewer words. "So...does this one mean during certain activities? Or something more specific?

Dang it, she'd been hoping he wouldn't catch it but would still answer it automatically. She also knew Abbi. "Yes I know Abbi. However my relationships with other trainees has no bearing on this questionnaire." She tried to sound professional. Tried, key word. "She's nice though." Solia was 100% professional snoop. At his inquiry to the question there was a short paused followed with 'oh'. "Well. It follows a certain trope or cliche. And if by certain activities you mean ones were you may or may not be in various stages of intimacy- yes. If you need specifics...." She had yaoi on her phone if he really wanted the specifics. "Again, tropes and cliches. I must rule out certain ones for fill in the data for categorization purposes." She frowned realizing that is was a bit, (a lot) forward. "If it is uncomfortable for you you may skip it."

"She certainly is." Ripley's voice was light, but his face remained passive. This questionnaire was even more suspicious now, only because Abbi had seemed to be personally interested in this sort of thing...and these questions were a little strange.
Even moreso now that he had context for the fourteenth question.
"...I see." The Trainee stared at her for a moment, then looked back down at the question, which seemed heavier now that he knew what it actually meant. Still, in the interest of giving the benefit of the doubt, he continued to fill out the questionnaire.
"I'm not shy." He assured her, which was incredibly true, before he continued writing.

She was trying to be professional about the whole thing but the fact was that she wasn't all that good at this sort of thing. Sneaking for answers, acting innocent when it really was obvious she wasn't. "Um." s**t. s**t. Abort. He'd asked a question quick BS an answer. "If we had to win over a person who had a thing for meganes. Fool someone by sending in someone who'd mess w/ mental profile... that sort of stuff." Smooth as creamy peanut butter. "Plus I had no real missions right now and I need something to do." Whoops.

"Interesting extra-curricular." Ripley's expression didn't change. He still observed her with the same amount of casual interest with which he had started, but internally, he didn't believe her. She seemed sweet enough, but this didn't sit right with him; it was almost on the level of the mysterious body sprays that ended up with him in the desert, getting his throat torn out by a giant centipede monster.
"So this information is only going to be shared in the event an actual mission comes up?" After his stint in the infirmary he had heard something about wanting to see abs, that they didn't mean for it to get out of control; but it had been enough to make him suspicious, and Solia with her megane questionnaire was not helping.

Solia huff puffed at him, grabbing the clipboard from his hand. "Of course! Well I mean it'll be one file as per protocol, but it should only be used for missions." She stared at him. "Why, is there someone who shouldn't be privy to this information?" She grinned, leaning closer to him. "Anything I should know about anyone?"

Solia leaned in close, but Ripley did not lean back to keep the distance between them. He stayed put, and merely looked down at her as she insisted on getting into his personal space.
"I prefer it stay confidential, that's all." He finally relinquished the clip board. "I know how information likes to travel." He added, sliding his hands casually into his pockets. "May I help you with anything else?"

"Oh it will be." She took the board, sliding out of his space... and out the door. " It will be." Out the door there was a second before she popped her head back in smiling. "But no that is all! Expect you monies in your account soon!" True enough, a few days later, Ripley would be a whole $50 richer.
