It was a quiet patrol....he liked that. There were times during his lakeside patrol that he would find someone (Or an animal) peeing into the water...or drinking from it with their DIRTY hands rather than using a cup like ANY sensible troll...or he'd sometimes see someone just toss their garbage in the water......he hated filth and he couldn't stand when others committed an act of intentionally adding.....FILTH. Accidents happened of course....and so long they cleaned up their mess that was just fine....but messes just drove him INSANE!
His lusus made for excellent company for his walks, he hated having to carry his own broom, garbage receptacles, and net for fishing floaters out of the water. The amount of times he'd had to clean garbage from the water.....he just hated that. Actually.......did he see something in the water? His face scrunched as he threw a look out at the water.

Okay, she usually didn't do this, as getting wet wasn't among one of her favorite things to do, but to HELL with it!! Forera honestly was feeling good enough to let the icy cold rush all over her for once. Anguis decided to stay at home again, which, to be honest, was kinda worrying her a little but she decided not to think about it!! Leaving Serpentmom to glide on the surface of the water, down she swam into the deep waters, eyes wide and searching. She was so curious as to what was below the water-- were there huuuuuge giant fish she from the rumors she heard so much about? Super advanced weapons only seadwellers knew of?
Sometimes Forera wished she was a seadweller just for that reason... to see all the secrets... and all the AWESOME items!! But sadly, just like what was happening right then and there, her breath was limited. With a huff, she swam up, breaking the water's surface and wading around in it, flailing around happily. To anyone else, it probably looked like she was drowning, but to her, she was swimming like a pro! Everyone should learn from her. Looking up at the moonlight, not noticing the troll nearby walking around the perimeter, she girl splashed and splashed, giggling like a mad man.

Oh god......someone was making a positive MESS of the water! HOW DARE THEY?! While there were perhaps others that would first worry about whether or not someone was drowning, Miache worried far more for the sake of his precious home. He hated the thought of someone making a mess of it. And what if she died and left whatever she brought? If he didn't find it right away it might stay wherever she put it and get soggy or mouldy or....UGH! NO! He couldn't think like that. He needed to find where she put her things. He would worry less about if she died and there was a corpse because usually the creatures in the water could take care of bio waste.
"HEY!" he called across the lake, puffing up his cheeks indignantly. How could she even THINK of sullying the lake? It was so perfect and serene! Obviously raptordad agreed as his feathers bristled and nostrils flared. It was nice to know that someone was always on his side for his war against mess.

Forera was still splashing around when she heard the insulted yelp from across the lake. Stopping abruptly, the young girl looked around— having forgot that in water, you need to be in constant movement to be able to stay afloat. The girl slid underwater, holding her breath. Deciding to play a small prank on whomever that was... She flailled over to the shore, yelling, "HELLO!!!" It was there that she saw the blueblood in his irritated glory, looking dapper as ever in his miniature suit. Forera decided he needed to get DIRTY!! Too clean! She splashed some water, flinging it at the blueblood good naturedly, giggling crazily— his reaction would be soooo great, Hahaha!!

Miache leapt a little in shock, mouth falling open in horror. Just WHAT did she think she was doing? Wass she trying to get him wet? He'd JUST pressed his suit! Or maybe she was trying to make mud to get all over his wrinkle-free slacks! OHHHHH WHAT A FIEND!!!!! Clearly she had no idea what it took to keep a suit so immaculate and shoes quite so polished when surrounded by nature. While yes, he loved his hive and all the natural beauty that surrounded it....he certainly didn't love all the dirt. It was of course better than the litter and refuse in the city, so who was he to complain?
"HEY!" he said again, swelling even more in his indignation, "you'll ruin my suit if you keep that up! And you're ruining the water with whatever dirt you tracked in there!" he scolded, hands on his hips to complete the look of righteous fury. It was like she didn't know anything!

Forera merely cackled loudly at his indignation, eyes lighting with excitement the more he whined about getting dirty. "Like I care! Why're walkin' 'round the lake's edge if yer not goin' in for a swim?!" The young tealblood asked, rolling her eyes and giggling a little as she grabbed onto the slippery, dirty ledge.
"Besiiiidees," Forera drawled, rolling her eyes and giving the higher blueblood toothy sneer, "The lake water is so totally dirty. It's filled with bacteria and all that good stuff. How many seadweller trolls do ya think live here?! Ya sure are a duuumb blueboy!" She snickered after this, throwing more water at him and letting out a loud and happy squeal of excitement, grubby hands filled with muck and dirt from grabbing the side of the lake. She mused her hair out of her face with her dirty hands, uncaring about the disgusting mud getting in her hair. "And hey! I'm not dirty!"

"There's a difference between bacteria and......dirt," he said, narrowing his eyes. "Bacteria can be used for cleaning or culturing food, whereas dirt is more like mud, or dead skin, or...." he broke off simply staring at her. She just didn't....LOOK clean! Some trolls of similar blood colour to her were clean and proper...why was she so...not? It made him horribly uncomfortable...
Miache puffed his chest, staring intensely at her, hating to show just how much a mess bothered him. "For you information; I LIVE here! My hive in on the lakeside. I vastly prefer my water to come from as close to the source as possible without being forced to live on the mountains." Of course, since his water supply was GENERALLY so clean he only had to purify it twice. It was a terrible bother boiling it out and filtering it, but certainly worth it! While he was aware it was perfectly normal for seadwellers to occasionally take up residence in lakes, the awareness that even THEY had natural functions made him uncomfortable. As he watched her smear dirt over herself he shuddered, stepping back unconsciously. She was SO GROSS!! Would it be too forward to offer to clean her properly? He hated seeing someone of such SUPPOSED highblood (though not as high as his, hers WAS still an acceptable caste) being so utterly....FILTHY!

"Yeah there's a difference! But like, not a biiiig one, y'know? Yer the only one bein' fussy about it." Forera let out a giggle while she watched him stare at her, still floating in the water and rolling her eyes at his particularity. "Not ALL bacteria is for cleaning! Like, wastes, and stuff. That's kinda like dirt, right? Yer kiddin' yerself!" Raising an eyebrow, the tealblood listened to him continue and raised a curious eyebrow when he said his house was nearby. With a wide grin, Forera pulled herself out of the water, shaking off the water and squeezing out the water in her dirty hair. "Hey, heeeeey! Yer hive is nearbyyy?? Oohh my gog, I SOOO wanna seee!" She squealed-- Sure, she had visited Four Fronds before, but it was rare that she found a troll that actually LIVED here!
Before long, a white creature slid out of the water as well, letting out a small hiss before crawling from Forera's leg up to her arm to wrap around it. With a small giggle at her lusi's lateness, she blinked and let out a small 'ooh.' "I live over in the City 'cause I'm soo totally awesome like that. Hehehe!"

"Of COURSE there is!" he huffed, hands firmly on his hips as his chest puffed indignantly. "You just don't UNDERSTAND it!" Clearly she didn't or she wouldn't smear mud across her own face! He reeled at her sidden interest in his hive, eyes darting nervously around, finally finding his lusus for an answer. Common gentleman manners dictated he should offer her to see his hive and INSIST on drying herself before she catch herself a death of sickness......but survival instinct told him he didn't want a troll like HER in his precious space.
A firm swat to his bottom with his lusus' tail had him cringe. He knew what to do. "Yes," he admitted begrudgingly, "could I show you my hive? I surely have a towel you can....dry...and....clean yourself with." His eyes sought out his lusus again for approval. The raptor raised him to be a gentleman, but he was still learning the nuances.....and sometimes it was easy to forget to treat a lady proper when she seemed so.....filthy. "The city..." he murmured thoughtfully, "I would've thought you'd be more...." he paused, scrunching his face in thought, "refined? Cultured? Hm...maybe just more...grown up I guess...." again his lusus gave him a smart swat for his ill manners and he cringed in response. Right....he didn't ALWAYS have to say what first came to mind....sometimes his filter was nonexistant. "Sorry," he murmured, "I've never been to the city, I guess I just pictured something....else."

Forera's brow arched in confusion from his strange behavior, crossing her arms, body wet and seemingly dirty. She shrugged. "Nah. It looks like war paint! I like fightin', it's fun!" She punched the air excitedly, grinning wildly and giggling loudly. The young girl rolled her eyes at his words, turning up her nose and giggling. "Refined, re-shmined. I donnwanna follow those weird standards some'o y'dummy trolls have. Its weird! What happened to jus' gettin' down and dirty in the muck? The city is also fulla girls like me!" A thumb jutted at her chest proudly. "And I'm awesome!" Her eyes lightened up as she looked at his fancy shmancy clothes, eyeing him up and down before her dirty hands began to wirggle and extended toward Miache excitedly. "Don'tcha wanna seeeee?" She said excitedly-- It looked like she'd charge him at any moment...!

"It looks messy!" he protested, frowning at her. "I like fighting well enough....but it doesn't have to be a sloppy brawl to be enjoyable," he muttered a little bitterly. He glanced at his lusus for confirmation. A gentleman's duel was a thing, right? Two trolls could battle with mutual respect and wit....not.....just brawl in the mud and blood with little regard for their own decency. He'd read books about trolls in duels...they never made a single mention of.....WARPAINT. It sounded so....barbaric! Definately not something a PROPER troll should engage in....she really should know better as well. City trolls should be more modern, right? More....hip if you would.....clean....and she wasn't a lowblood...what was she doing so....PROUD of being filthy? She really was ruining his image of what highbloods and city trolls SHOULD be.
Miache threw himself back, stumbling into his lusus as she reached for him with her filthy stubs. "I should think NOT!" he squawked indignantly, pressing himself to his lusus for some form of protection from the sloppy troll. "Don't you have ANY pride in appearance?"

Forera rolled her eyes, crossing her arms. "Gettin' messy is like, the main reason I like, fight! O'er than the, the... err.... adray-nay-line?" Forera shrugged. "You get me!" She felt her devious grin widen in excitement when he began to react to her nearing him, eyes lighting up with excitement. "C'mon, just a lil' muck on yer pretty white topper...!" She teased, eyes glinting mischievously. "Appearance ain't nothin' important! It's bein' fightin' fit!" She cackled, before running at the kid with her terrible dirty fingers, aiming to tackle him. He couldn't out-run her!
