sad Kadryn decided that since the Wild Tribe had a person on Eowyn that was willing to help her train them. She might as well go and try to catch another one! So back into the desert she went. But look about as much as she could, she couldn’t find any in the desert itself.
Dragons, some Rhamidons, Kugels, and a caravan with Karagoths, but no Borgnahs. A little let down, she wondered if she would have to go all the way back to the Expanse. It would only take a day’s flight, but then, if she got another Borgnah, it’d be at least a few more days getting back.
She grumble to herself as she headed back to the Wild Tribe camp to see how her other Borgnah was doing. The dovaa was having much better luck getting it to listen to him that she had. But Kadryn didn’t mind, she was picking up pointers watching them!
That night she spent at the tribe, talking and getting to know the other members. As a new face, and newly joined member, there were plenty who had questions of her. After she got tired of the chatter she bid them good night and left to go set up a tent and sleep. But sleep was long in coming. She missed Kirosh badly and wished he’d get back here faster! She knew why he’d wanted to go talk to his father alone, but still! Wonder if I’ll ever get to meet his da? She wondered as sleep finally claimed her. And will he like me like my da likes Kirosh?
The next morning she decided to head out once more. This time, she’d go back to the Expanse, since last night she’d talked to others and they’d said that Borgnahs tried to avoid the dunes.
