The clear night sky is illuminated by the glistening specks of brightly colored paper lanterns floating above.
The Shiba Manor, is bathed in the golden glow of a million lamps placed throughout the gardens.
Two large golden dragons stand proudly at the front of the manor, a bright spotlight cast upon them.
Tables dressed in festive silk fabrics have been set out in the clearing of the gardens.
Musicians play bright, upbeat music to encourage dancing. Dancers dressed in vibrant kimonos dance with fire and perform tricks to entertain the crowds.
Decorative platters of food are placed on each of the tables, surrounded by drinks for everyone to help themselves to.
The table where Kukaku Shiba is seated has a large banner overhead with the words お誕生日おめでとう ("Happy Birthday!") written across.
