Avacyn had definitely not listened to Tantalus's advice, and she was most certainly not calling a doctor. Instead, she was desperately limping down the hall to his and Lance's apartment, and once she got there she collapsed against the door and pounded on it with her good arm. "Lance? Are you there? Open up! Please!"

The pounding at the door caught Lance by surprise. He wasn't expecting anyone, and if Alistair had, he wouldn't have left earlier. The blonde opened the door only to have Avacyn quite literally fall into his arms. "Ava? Are you alright? What happened?" He ushered the older girl in, sitting her on the couch gently. "Do you need me to call for someone to check you out?" The girl was beaten and bruised, and by the looks of her hand, broken. "You're safe here Ava. No one will get you in here."

Ava was shaking, even when she curled up on the couch. "Uhm, yeah, maybe later, but you have to listen to me - Lance, I think Alistair is in danger and I think I sent him that way." She whimpered, swallowing and sinking back onto the couch.

The blondes heart jumped into his throat at the mention of Alistair, but first things first. Lance needed to make sure Avacyn was okay before he rushed off to find Ali."Breathe Ava, what do you mean?" Pulling the blanket off the back of the couch, he wrapped it around the shaking girl. "Tell me as much as you can remember."

"There was...there was this Senshi. And she came after me and she..." She gestured with her good hand. "She was asking about you. She wanted to know who your partner was and I didn't want to die so I told her but I called Ali to warn him and he didn't listennnnnn." Ava started sobbing brokenly, ashamed at her own cowardice. How could she have done this?

"Shh.. It's okay Avacyn. It's okay." He said as he leaned forward and gently hugged the girl. "You know how Ali gets sometimes. No one's going to blame you for it. It's not your fault alright? No one's mad at you for what you did." He didn't have to ask details on the senshi. He knew exactly who it was. "Do you know where he went?"

Ava whimpered quietly, leaning against Lance for at least a little bit of comfort. Even if she still felt absolutely awful in every conceivable way. She was probably getting Tantalus killed right now, all to save her own stupid skin. "T-the park, the big one, I told her he was there but he wasn't and I told him not to go and he went anywayyyyyy."

"That's Alistair for you.." He gently stroked her hair for a moment before releasing her. "I want you to stay here alright? Keep all the windows and doors locked, and don't open the door for anyone unless it's me okay? I'll be back as soon as I can, and then we'll go get you checked out alright? Just stay here."

Avacyn nodded slowly, curling into a tighter ball on the couch. She had to admit, she was terrified. Even though there was no way that crazy red headed Senshi could possibly come back, she was definitely worried she was going to. It was the curse, she supposed, of being afraid of everyone and everything. And now because she was a sniveling coward, Tantalus, Alistair, was scared and in pain too. Ava wanted to cry, to really break down and sob pathetically like the scared little girl she was, but she was trying to keep it at least a little bit together for Lance's sake. After all, she wasn't the one whose boyfriend was in probably mortal danger.
"I - I'll stay right here, I promise, I'm not going anywhere," she said, nodding a lot to confirm she meant it. She had absolutely no desire to leave that room and risk running into something else. Maybe when Lance got back with Ali and they both went to the hospital, but until then, Avacyn Zak was vey much going to be an inside girl. Maybe even after she recovered, too - patrolling just didn't sound like anything she wanted to do.
"Just - just please be safe, okay? I don't want you getting hurt, too..." She said, swallowing and curling up tighter on the couch. "And even if you don't blame me, I'm still...really really sorry."

"I'll be okay, I promise. And I'll bring Ali back and we'll all be safe and sound alright?" He hugged her once more, this time a bit tighter. "I'm not mad at you you know. You did what you thought was best for your safety. I know you were trying to protect him and I thank you for it." He disappeared for a moment before returning with a little ball of fuzz, A small puppy, a foster from the shelter he worked at. "Here, I've heard animals are good about sensing when people are down in the dumps." Lance said as he handed the small animal over. "She's a cuddler so she's more then likely to sit with you all night if you let her." I'll be back as soon as I can Ava, so just hold tight okay?" Lance fished out his pen and left for his room, powering up and disappearing through the mirror with out another word. He had score to settle. He would put this girl in her place. If she wanted him to fight her, then fight he would.
