I'm in dire need of some ideas to throw for a divorce party.
To sum this up: My best friend, who I was a bridesmaid for at her wedding, is divorcing her cheating husband who not only just cheated, but also got his new girlfriend pregnant. The due date of the baby, with the math done, shows that the baby was conceived two-three weeks before he left my best friend and the house. Right now, we are awaiting for the case to be taken, so far, it has a likely chance of going through.
All of us, who support her, want to throw her a divorce party once it is official.
Some ideas we have so far: - My car, the very one I drove her to the church with, will be decorated with "Just Divorced" on the back window and such. - "Pin The Tail On The Jack@$$." (I still have old pictures of the soon to be ex-hubby) - Sock'Em Ex. It's those inflatable things that bounce back up with you punch it. - Trip to a bar.
I'd like a few more ideas for some things to do. The "divorcee" is compiling a list of guests who have supported her and is comfortable with.
Shoot some ideas!

If you go to the bar, have the divorcee wear a tiara and sash. If into it, hire a stripper/go to a strip club. If going ANYWHERE, rent a limo. The "Just Divorced" idea is awesome! If staying home, do the games/inflatable thing and go on an ex bashing spree where everyone dishes on ex-boyfriends/husbands. Possibly have it catered?

Make her one of these: I think that would be a lot of fun! Careful with alcohol too, especially if shes grieving over a marriage, it might make her depressed.

Alcohol is no issue with her. She took this separation very well. She only had one night when she was cleaning out her house and came by the cards from the wedding and shower that had her in the dumps for a day, but she has taken care of things very well.
Plus, we're trying to keep spirits up in this party to prevent that.
