LEVEL: 65 (will edit this after battle with Detra is done!) EXP: 58/65 LUK: 46 LUK EXP: 1/3 Prompt Rumors have reached your ears of a cave full of many dragons where an awesome fighter like yourself could go. There are even a few whispered rumors of some nice treasure within! So you decide to go, either alone or with some friends, and check this cave out! Upon reaching the cave in Eowyn, you notice that the cave itself doesn't appear to be anything special as you approach. Perhaps the rumors are not true... Kadryn and Kirosh had gone their separate ways for a bit. Kirosh had said he wanted to go visit his father, talk to him a bit about Kadryn. He wasn't sure he wanted to take Kadryn that deep into Oblivionite territory. Too much could go wrong! So they'd agreed to meet up back near Kadryn's home in a few weeks time. Kadryn, feeling lonely since ehr lover had left, decided to go visit the Cave of Dragons. She'd never heard of it before, but it would do one thing; take her mind of the loneliness. Who knew I'd get so attached? She thought with a smile as she landed in front of the cave on Eowyn.

STAGE: Feral Orakovan BREED: Kiandri Khehora PATH: Civilian After Toki set his mind to do something, he did it. Now that he'd decided to undergo that silly ritual of power, he was out hunting orbs. Hunting them one by one seemed to him a long and tedious task. So he'd decided to come back to this Cave of Dragons that he'd been forced to leave before due to the rest of the group leaving because of a child's temper tantrum. He sensed an Orderite on the wind as he came up. Curious he fly towards the cave and grinned as he caught her scent and sensed her magic. Ah, someone else has the same idea! He landed and walked over to her, "Care to accompany me through this cave?"

Room 1 First die: If the number is 1-3, you encounter a Ysali dragon. If the number is 4, you encounter an Ayrala dragon. Second die: If the number is 1, you are nervous and take a 10% penalty to your luck chance. [So if your normal luck range against the dragon is 61-100, it is now 71-100. If it was 91-100, you must now roll a 100 to succeed.] If the number is 2-4, nothing happens and you fight as normal. The first room is fairly well lit with the light from the cave entrance illuminating the area. There, on the other side of the room, is a dragon! From this point, treat as a normal dragon hunt and every participant rolls to see what the result is. If you win, do you: A) Move deeper into the cave? Roll 2 4-sided dice and go to "Room 2"B) Leave? Go to "Exit" Kadryn started as she heard someone land behind her. Turning quickly, her hand flashed towards her mace handle, but she didn't draw just yet. She smiled, as she spotted the Khehora. He was certainly a very eye-catching figure! With tall frills and a deep copper color to his scales, he had an aura of age and confidence about him. "Uh, sure. I'm Kadryn." She said. What an abrupt person, but she would like company. This was unknown territory and who knew just how many dragons were in the cave! "I'm Shaman Toki." He said and dipped his head in greeting. Kadryn? Sounded familiar. He shrugged, he'd think on it later. "I've been here only once but had to leave quickly due to issues in the group.""I've never been here before," Kadryn said with a smile, "But I felt that since I wanted to burn time and beat my frustrations out on things, this would be a good place to do so!" She headed into the cave.

Results Dragon: Ysali (too high so no LUK/LUK EXP gained) 5 exp gained +0 LUK EXP +1 Ysali Orb Toki followed the small woman in. He could sense power in her, but not a lot of magic. She must be a warrior, the scent of metal was proof of that. They entered and Toki scented a Ysali. He felt an urge to compete with the woman and gathered his power into his long neck, before spitting it out in a spiraling bolt of lightning. Kadryn jumped as the bolt shot right by her and blasted the Ysali in the face. She whistled, “ Neat.” Impressed at the speed and control he had on his magic. She’d never seen lightning look that control before.

Room 2 First die: If the number is 1-2, you encounter a Ysali dragon. If the number is 3-4, you encounter an Ayrala dragon. Second die: If the number is 1, nothing happens and you fight as normal. If the number is 2, you manage to feel very lucky and get a 10% bonus to your luck chance. [So if your normal luck range is normally 61-100, it is now 51-100. You cannot go below 6-100, though.] If the number is 3, nothing happens and you fight as normal. If the number is 4, you have encountered a Silx instead of a dragon. See "Creatures" below to see stats. You still fight just like in a dragon hunt, only against the creature instead of a dragon. This room is not as well lit as the previous room, but you can still see well enough to see the whole room. There, across the room once again, is your opponent. From this point, treat as a normal dragon hunt and every participant rolls to see what the result is. If you win, do you: A) Move deeper into the cave? Roll 2 4-sided dice and go to "Room 3"B) Move closer to the entrance? Roll 2 4-sided dice and go to "Room 1" C) Leave? Go to "Exit" If you lose, you must RP fleeing from battle and are done with the cave. You keep any items and experience you may have found. If you have 500+ words, this may count for an RP as well as a dragon hunt. Toki chuckled, “I am prefer to use magic to my claws and teeth. When you get as old as I am, you tend to take longer to heal.”Kadryng giggle, “I prefer to hit things! I guess that makes it easy to figure out how to fight together. I charge in, you fire off magic from the back. I’ll do my best to keep your old bones from getting hit!” He did look older than Grrel had, or maybe that was just the number of scars and how he carried himself. She noticed his eyes were a pale gold orb, and didn’t see to look anywhere. It was an odd effect to be certain! Is he blind? He doesn’t act like it if he is! She thought as she trotted off into the next cave after gathering up the orbs.

Results Dragon: Ysali (level 5) success. She's too high level so no LUK EXP for wins Total gained: +10 EXP +0 LUK EXP +2 Ysali Orbs This time, she slipped in before Toki and spotted the dragon; pulling her mace out, she charged forward with it held low. Swinging it up she smashed the startled Ysali in the face, her mace splattering its bone and brains in a spray. She wrinkled her nose. Messy! Glad it sprayed the other way! Guess I’m getting more fastidious since I met Kirosh! She turned and grinned, “I got this one! Ysali’s won’t be that much of a challenge forme. The Gailis might though.”

Room 3 First die: If the number is 1, you encounter a Ysali dragon. If the number is 2-3, you encounter an Ayrala dragon. If the number is 4, you encounter a Kiandri dragon. Second die: If the number is 1, the room is empty. Skip straight to "If you win" options. If the number is 2-3, nothing happens and you fight as normal. If the number is 4, spider webs coat the walls of this room and drift about everywhere. Your visibility is lowered, causing your luck chance to be reduced by 10%. [If your normal luck range is 61-100, it is now 71-100. If it is normally 91-100, you must now roll a 100 to succeed.] The rooms slowly grow darker as you continue to progress into the cave system. You are unable to see into the darkest corners, but you can still see well enough to fight. From this point, treat as a normal dragon hunt and every participant rolls to see what the result is. If you win, do you: A) Move deeper into the cave? Roll 2 4-sided dice and go to "Room 4"B) Move closer to the entrance? Roll 2 4-sided dice and go to "Room 2" C) Leave? If you have 500+ words, this may count for an RP as well as a dragon hunt. They entered the next room side by side and looked around. Nothing. “You see anything?” Toki asked, maybe there was a creature that he couldn’t smell or sense? “Nope, nothing.” Kadryn said as she unfurled her wings and flew about the place. “It’s empty! What a bummer.” She sighed and landed again. “ Onwards?”“Sure.” Toki said as he sniffed the air. There was the faint days old scent of dragon… just nothing recent.

If t he number is 2, you seem to have triggered an old spell and your movement is slowed. Your luck chance is now reduced by 20%. [If your normal luck range is 61-100, it is now 81-100.] If the number is 3, nothing happens and you fight as normal. If the number is 4, you have encountered a Bognotti instead of a dragon. See "Creatures" below to see stats. You still fight just like in a dragon hunt, only against the creature instead of a dragon. Continuing into the cave system, the walls now start to glisten with moisture where the light hits them. Shadows are becoming darker and more prevalent, but the overall light level is still that of early evening. From this point, treat as a normal dragon hunt and every participant rolls to see what the result is. If you win, do you: A) Move deeper into the cave? As Toki and Kadryn entered the next room, they felt a spell go off .Toki winced, it was an old one, something that’d lingered here for years. He sighed as he felt at it pull at his bones, weighing him down. This was rather painful, and he knew he’d be moving slower than usual. Kadryn growled as she too felt its pull and spotted the Ayrala. It’d been years since she’d fought one but she was certain that, spell or no spell, she could beat it!

Win +15 EXP Total: +25 EXP +0 LUK EXP (she's too high) +2 Ysali Orbs +1 Ayrala Orb Toki gathered his power, he was slower yes, but magic was not effected by this spell! As Kadryn charged, he waited loosed his bolt, this time in the shape of a thin whip, slashing down at the Dragon from above, forcing it to the ground to meet Kadryn’s sharp spiked mace. The effect was as predicted, caught between lightning and metal, it died fast. Kadryn got a little bit of blood on her leather jacket, but since it was an older jacket she could care less. The both heaved sighs of relief as they left that room. The pull upon their bodies lessened and Toki no longer felt his old bones aching. “That was a rather irritating spell.” He muttered. Kadryn nodded in agreement as they went ever deeper into the cave

If the number is 4, you encounter a Firani dragonSecond die: If the number is 1-2, nothing happens and you fight as normal. If the number is 3, you feel especially brave and daring and your luck chance is increased by 10%. [So if your normal luck range is normally 61-100, it is now 51-100. You cannot go below 6-100, though.] If the number is 4, the dragon roars and any Bonded Drakein quake in fear. (No change to your luck chance, but any Bonded Drakein cannot be RPed as helping during this fight.) The air grows damper as you continue on, a few small puddles appearing on the floor from time to time, especially in lower laying areas and against walls. This room has several large stalagmites jutting from the floor. From this point, treat as a normal dragon hunt and every participant rolls to see what the result is. If you win, do you: A) Move deeper into the cave? Roll 2 4-sided dice and go to "Room 6" B) Move closer to the entrance? Roll 2 4-sided dice and go to "Room 4"C) Leave? It was damper in here but something made her feel so much luckier, in high spirits. He eyes gleamed as they spotted the Firani. “Looks like we skipped the Kiandri’s,” She said to Toki with a grin as she charged forward once more. This would be slightly more difficult, but the confidence boost she felt urged her onwards.

She certainly is very eager! I hear smashing when her weapon hits… it must be a mace or hammer. They are the only weapons that make that sound. He felt the fire of the Firani’s magic and smiled. Gathering his power he sent it out to cover Kadryn, encasing her in a lightning armor. It was his specialty, manipulating and controlling magic that was far away from him. Now he could practice to see if he could keep it from hurting her! She probably won’t appreciate it if I tell her I’ve done this before he thought with a toothy grin. Kadryn was startled when she felt the warmth of the lightning touch her, wary but it didn’t’ shock her so she ignored it. Trust your allies to do their job, Kirosh had told her. So she’d trust Toki. Her mace lashed out, smashing scales and bone, but this one fought back a bit. It took the blow and sent a ball of fire her way. She dodged to the right, and Toki sent a bolt of lightning out to finish off the dragon

Kadryn looked about and saw another tunnel heading back that they hadn’t come in through. “Want to go and see if we can wander down that tunnel and find Kiandri’s? I’d like to fight more, my dragon orb stash is getting low so I’d like to find more.” She said with a smile. Toki thought for a moment and nodded. Anodyne had said that the more orbs of his own kind he had the better off he’d be in the Ritual. “I’d like to find more Kidanri’s as well. Though, orbs in general would be nice.” He rumbled in amusement.

Toki shot off a bolt of lightning but the Draogn merely snarled and took it head on before casting a strong spell. A gale engulfed them, tossing both the large Kiandri Khehora and his companion into the air, twirling them about and then spitting them out of the cave. Toki and Kadryn sat and stared at the cave entrance. “Well…. That was…. Odd.” Kadryn said. “I’ll say.” Toki laughed. “Maybe we should have gone forwards after all!”“Looks like it.” She paused and looked at him. “You said you wanted Kiandri orbs.
