There was only so much hacking on wooden dummies (or runic dummies, or dummies in general) that Sasha could stand. It was nicer to interact with a live body, not because of the camaraderie but because it truly did help hone her own responses to attack.
Hair braided and tucked down the back of her jacket, Sasha waited quite primly on the training field for anyone to happen across her.

"Hey." Otto walked onto the field, waving at Sasha as he approached. There was usually only one reason a hunter was on the field. She was probably training. He had no idea what sort of things she did or didn't do while away. Not much, if she'd thought she was only gone a few days. Maybe her skills were rusty with Nona. And that was why he didn't bother asking what she was up to. "Wanna be my partner?"

Sasha looked utterly relieved when Otto approached her. She paused long enough to grace him with a curt nod. "I'd be forever grateful, mon cher." She was glad he didn't ask questions, ask if she was fine. It was refreshing, and exactly what Sasha needed.

He didn't know what her fancy talk meant, but knowing Sasha it was probably at least a little flattering. Maybe some French pet name. He only ever heard it in movies. Otto summoned Tenya from her totem form, holding the oversized weapon over a shoulder as he prepared to spar.

Sasha didn't bother with further conversation. There was no need. She dove in, Nona's blades flashing. The hooked talon nicked at Otto's shield, but did no real lasting damage.

Otto jumped back a few steps after her initial strike, spinning Tenya out in front of himself as a shield. One more step, and he turned, bringing the large weapon around in one full spin before releasing it at the other hunter. HP: 56 Dmg: 9

It was a heavy blow, but the pain was quickly forgotten. Sasha let the attack reverberate through her before she moved in close, Nona's hooks settling just atop Otto's shoulders. She used the action to tug Otto a little closer before bringing them down and in. If he hadn't had his shield, the hooks would have passed through the meat of his shoulders - but he did, and so the attack was much less effective. HP: 41 DMG: 7

Otto was pulled forward, a hiss escaping his clenched teeth from the stabs to his shield. Tenya was brought up despite the hooks gripping his shoulders, and slammed down into Sasha's raised arm.

The hiss that escaped Otto had Sasha's eyes narrowing in delight. Evoking such a response was a powerful sort of thing - but the pain that radiated through her arm thanks to his attack soon took her breath away, and she took a few steps back. It was not long until she was up close and personal again, darting around Otto as the tips of Nona's hooks bit into the shield that protected his torso. HP: 30 DMG: 11

HP: 38 Dmg: 7 She was more nimble than he was. Shorter, smaller, and a lightweight pair of weapons. Her hit stung, making him bite his lip as the pain shot through his body. It was short, numbed by the shield. Otto turned, wielding the weapon much like a bat as he swung outward in an arc to knock Sasha away.

Sasha was sent reeling backwards, but not before she lashed out with her hooks as she stumbled. Scrambling to her feet, she narrowed her eyes at the blond, lips pursed as she waited for his next move. HP: 23 DMG: 2

He swung the weapon in circles at his side, gauging what his next move ought to be. Suddenly, he lunged forward, striking Sasha across the ribs, and back again after the first strike.

Sasha was getting tired, and it was starting to show. She felt pretty confident despite the fatigue, and moved in quickly to ram the blunt curve of Nona's hooks right against Otto's sternum. HP: 19 DMG: 3

HP: 32 Dmg: Miss Sasha seemed to be attempting to rupture something. The blow didn't hurt as much as her previous strikes, but he was getting a little more defensive in response. Otto rammed the weapon into Sasha's side with a full turn, putting his weight into the strike. And missed.

When Otto missed, Sasha struck again. Hard and fast, she made an attempt to loop Nona's hooks around his ankle in order to knock him off balance.
