            》| Noted Biography: Deacon was born at Gotham General Hospital many years before the city became Neo-Gotham. He’d long known about Batman, and had for many years idolized the hero. He’d grown up in one of the relatively nicer areas of Gotham, his father an employee of Wayne Industries and his mother raising him and his two siblings. Unlike his siblings, he was a bit sickly and frail. No one could truly determine what was wrong with him, even with all the medical tests he had done. Still he was treated well by his parents, no one ever really picked on him either: his older brother watched out for him. With this result, he managed to read up and become quite the student, achieving an academic scholarship for Gotham University, courtesy of Bruce Wayne’s philanthropic efforts. His father was a research scientist specializing in meta-human genetics. He had been working on how best to use the meta-human genome in order to create a cure-all for Earth’s various diseases. Under the tutelage of Dr. Nathaniel Cuvier, he’d finally come up with a possibly viable compound. Needing a test subject, at the age of 18 Deacon and his father decided to do the experiment on himself. Taking the newly concocted serum, still experimental, they injected it into young Deacon.

            It had a surprisingly unique effect on Deacon: it not only revitalized his health, it activated the latent meta-human genes within him. Unknowingly he had developed abilities similar to a ghost. He could turn invisible, phase through walls, and even fly at incredible speeds. Through some tests the two of them realized that his powers needed to be monitored. Staying at the lab and taking a semester off from school, Deacon was monitored by his father in order to gauge his abilities.

            During the time of the experiments, the great earthquake happened that soon tore Gotham asunder. His family had been caught in the quake along one of the bridges heading into the city, they were on their way in to see Deacon in the lab. While Deacon managed to survive the quake he was unfortunately knocked into a cryo-stasis chamber in his attempts to escape the facility. Being trapped for many years, old Gotham Labs was demolished rebuilding the facility as the Wayne-Powers Tower. Following the new Batman’s efforts in fighting Blight in the sub-levels of the tower. Finding the frozen man, he was taken to the Batcave, where he was safely revived and reanimated under the tutelage of Bruce Wayne. Alone and out of his time, he was brought to the Watch Tower and brought under the tutelage of Superman. Not bringing him into missions with the League, he was taught to use his powers and to channel his pent up anger over the loss of his family and his life. He even got tattoos on his arms that glow when his powers are being used as a part of his adjustment to his new life.

            Caught between two eras, he sits along the razor’s edge of embracing the future, or dwelling in the past.

He is also a bit of a risk taker, since he has no problem with the idea of doing dangerous things on a whim. After all, without his risk taking, he wouldn’t have his powers would he?

            》| Superhuman Ability: Ghost-Like Mutation - Deacon possesses the ability to phase through solid material, allowing for him to infiltrate secure facilities with ease. He is also able to turn invisible to the naked eye, and has the ability to fly at speeds in excess of 100 miles per hour. The result of the concoction has resulted in him becoming a much stronger and otherwise healthier person.

            xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxStrengths: With these unique powers, he can sneak around a battlefield and fight in unconventional terms.

            xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxWeaknesses:Ability to phase: He cannot phase through certain materials, such as lead without feeling great discomfort and even out right pain. He can also only remain phased depending on how long he holds his breath.
            Ability to turn invisible: He can only remain in his invisible form for roughly three hours. And even in his invisible form, he is not invisible to other forms of vision, such as infrared and ultraviolet vision.
            Electricity: Electricity can re-stabilize him when he is in his phased and invisible forms, also causing him incredible pain.

            》| Noted Biography:  It would have seemed that Aurelio lived a perfect life in his day. He was born to a wealthy couple within a loving family in Opal City, Maryland, who, while not spoiling him, gave him everything he ever truly needed. Throughout his life he’d been sent to some of the most prestigious schools, in which he always excelled in all his classes. He was always popular, but even then he never looked down upon anyone, and tried to befriend anyone no matter their clique. He was always athletic, and was in his high school’s track team. He was even in a stable relationship with captain of the school’s cheerleading squad. Everyone loved and accepted Aurelio, and he would have graduated class valedictorian if not for fate’s cruel sense of humor. 

            One day when he was 17, a track meet against a rival school in Bludhaven was interrupted by a hulking demon gunning for Aurelio for reasons he did not understand. While the boy tried to defend himself using makeshift weapons, they did absolutely nothing to deter it. Though the beast caused much destruction, no one was significantly harmed. As it chased the young boy down it came to a halt as a seemingly normal old man warded him away using some kind of torch. It was certainly a strange site, and the old man disappeared before Aurelio could thank him. 

            The meet was rescheduled and all students were sent home after quick injury checks. That night Aurelio arrived home to the grisly sight of his parents murdered, as if mauled by some kind of animal. Before he could run, he was again attacked by the beast from only hours earlier. After a long chase through his block, the same old man from earlier once again came to his aid. This time the old man unleashed a full flurry of magical attacks, and killed the monster in quite the dominating fashion. The old man called himself M, and explained to the boy that the demons attacking him recently escaped from Hell via a tear in reality. The demons were of a type that liked to feed off of lesser, untrained magical beings for sport. 

            M then explained to him that he, like his parents, was homo magi, or a human born with a natural connection to the planes of magic. He offered to teach the boy in the ways of magic as compensation for not being able to protect his parents, and the boy, finding no alternative now that he had no family to stick around for, chose to accept M’s offer. Immediately M opened up a portal and they were off on their journey. 

            For years he traveled between dimensions with M, along the way learning many teachings from the man. In their travels they visited many worlds, including various other planets, dimensions, alternate universes, alternate histories, and even sometimes further or earlier along in various timelines. Aurelio jokingly referred to M as Doctor M because of his powerful abilities he used to create these interdimensional powers, which he often used to right various wrongs they faced along the way. 

            His final travel with M was to a realm known simply as Never. It was a land of pitch black darkness in which the sun was blotted out and any form of light was outright banned, the irony being that the creatures that existed in this realm sustained themselves with light. Light was only available to the elite of the society’s hierarchy, and M saw this oppression as wrong and sought to right this. M’s first action was to undo the spell that blotted out the sun. Unfortunately, this drained him immensely and left him in a weakened state. When the elite saw this they struck the weakened M, attacking him with an amulet that was their source of sustenance for years. The attack left him dying, and in an enraged state Aurelio cast a spell he’d found in one of his master’s books to steal the amulet for his own; rage, however, can twist magic in unexpected ways, and instead of simply teleport the amulet to him, it infused with his being and embedded into his chest. In a loss of control he quickly destroyed the demons attacking his master. 

            Tending to his dying master, Aurelio sought to try and heal M, but M refused. He said that it was his time to go and that he lived a full life for thousands of years, and so he had overstayed his welcome. He instead gave Aurelio a key which gave him access to his library of knowledge once he proved himself worthy, and asked him to continue his search for knowledge. With his bits of magic left M opened a portal for Aurelio to walk through. Upon Aurelio asking if it lead back home, M told him it lead back to where he belonged. Stepping through, he found himself in a world of high technology years ahead of his own time.

            》| Superhuman Ability:  Born a homo magi, he is naturally able to access sorcery through various incantations, invocations, and mystical items. While this ability grants him many potential powers, he currently can only access two primary powers without assistance from artifacts, spell books, materials, and the like; levitation and electrokinesis. The first ability he learned to use at whim was flight via levitation, and it is what he does best. He does this mostly through concentration of his natural magical abilities, the same way one with telekinesis would. 

            Electrokinesis he can use via an amulet that was accidentally embedded in his chest in one of his travels with his master. The amulet was created by artificers to invoke the powers of various pantheons’ thunder gods to cast lightning from his body. While he is certainly skilled, he still has yet to master these abilities he only recently got. 

            Aside from this he can still access most forms of magic through assistance from elaborate rituals, artifacts, and spell work, though he is not as proficient in these as his other abilities. 
             

            xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxStrengths: He has most of the strengths of a person with flight. He can cast lightning, usually from his body, for offensive purposes. He can control just how lethal his bolts are.    

            xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxWeaknesses: Using his powers too much for a long time can become both a physical and mental strain on him, and his lack of proficiency in spell work can have mixed results. Magnetic powers can wreak havoc on his electrokinesis. The amulet embedded on his chest, while unbreakable, can be a weak point and can cause significant harm if struck. Emotions affect spellcasting; anger and other negative emotions can create rather unpredictable results, as he learned firsthand in his time on Never. Outside of his magic, he is just a normal human and has all the common vulnerabilities of such.

            》| Noted Biography:  Natalia was born and raised in Blüdhaven to a career military family of Air Force officers. To say that she was the oddball of the family would be an understatement. While her older brother was more disciplined and focused, Natalia was always the more rebellious one of the Kondracki household. She was often in trouble for being truant in school or sneaking out to party, experimenting with drugs and alcohol. She was known for her fiery temper and her cynical and sarcastic attitude, but despite her reputation she loved her family very much. Having been raised by career officers, she learned how to use guns and was trained in self-defense from a young age, but she was never as disciplined as her brother. She was known as a tough girl, went into her adult years working as a bartender at a biker bar of somewhat questionable reputation. 

            Unfortunately, being well-versed in self-defense was not enough for what was in store for her. It is not known why she was chosen, but eventually she was beaten and kidnapped by a group of occultists and taken to an unknown location beyond the city limits of Blüdhaven. While there, she was tied to a chair, and the occultists did various experiments on her that she did not understand for about a week, apparently being the "perfect host" for something. She tried her hardest to resist and try to escape, giving the cult a very hard time when she was still there, before the day of the ritual finally came. 

            Placing her at the center of a magic circle, the cult members made several chants. At first, she did not know what was going on, but as the circle began to eerily glow, she began to panic, though try as she may she could not escape. About halfway through her ritual she began to find herself growing weak. Unbeknownst to her, her soul was slowly being drained from her body and cast out into the afterlife, effectively killing the woman. Eventually, she could resist no longer, and her body gave in, empty of its soul completely. Unfortunately, that would not be the end for Natalia's body, as the occultists' ritual was not yet completely. To finish the ritual, the occultists summoned a demon from the pits of Hell, binding it to Natalia's body in a bid to learn to control the legions of the underworld. Unfortunately for the occultists, however, the ritual was a way to summon and bind a demon to a human body, but not one to make it obey the summoners' orders. Without hesitation, or effort really, the demon attacked and killed all of the cult members involved in the spell, using a sword used for the ritual as her weapon to slay the vile pests that would dare think of ruling over her. 

            While initially the demon, calling herself Dahlia, did not like the fact that she was bound to a human and originally wanted to go back to Hell where she ruled, she began to grow curious about the human world, with it being so vastly different from the realm she had lived in for so very long. Her curiosity demanded that she stay in this realm, beginning to like the new body she was in, despite its human limitations, and beginning to appreciate that she was not as powerful here as she was in Hell. 

            Dahlia is a demon born in the depths of Hell, specifically the Seventh Circle of Hell reserved for those who have committed violence in her lifetime. Naturally, being of the most ruthless demons of the underworld, she became a natural warrior, fighting in battle after battle until few would accept her challenges out of fear for her, which she would answer with a swift death for their cowardice. Eventually, she felt she was ready to rule over her Circle of Hell, having utterly annihilated enemy after enemy, and so she found herself making her way to the Minotaur's castle that watched over the Seventh Circle. She furiously fought the creature's demons, laying waste to the ruler's legions by the dozens, finally making her way to the top of the Minotaur's tower and challenging him directly in person. Showing no fear, the two fought for days in a duel that would seemingly have no end, neither side giving in to the other. Eventually, however, the Minotaur made a mistake and Dahlia severed his head. She then went on to destroy the Minotaur's throne, then built a new one out of his bones. 

            She has since ruled over the Seventh Circle of Hell, known to all within her kingdom as the Lady of the Seventh Circle. For centuries she has ruled over this realm, eventually growing bored of the position, it being far more monotonous than she had thought it would be. She answered challenges as they came, furiously defending her throne and subsequently feeding the bodies to her pet hounds, and sometimes even indulging in a little cannibalism herself. It had all become tedious by about the sixth consecutive century under her rule, and frankly she was bored with her reign. Eventually though, she was ripped from her reality by a black magic ritual cast by a group of cultists hoping to learn to control a legion of demons. She was bound to a weak human body, but that did not stop her wrath from being bloody. She reigned death on those who would dare try and rule over her. 

            It occurred to her later on, though, that perhaps the occultists had given her exactly what she needed, a little more adventure in her existence. Her newfound limitations would ensure that, while still relatively powerful, she would have to work for her adventures and not die in this frail frame of a human body, and that prospect was more fun than returning to Hell. Moreover, having had limited interaction with humans whose who's eternal torture she did not oversee, she was curious about this realm and the way these humans lived. She readily gave up her rule for a new mode of existence hopefully filled with adventure, but she would one day return to Hell. Let whoever sought to replace her rule over her Circle, for she would one day return as a conqueror once again, destroying whatever weakling occupied the throne at the moment. She was satisfied with simply living amongst these humans for now. 

            Eventually, she drew the attention of the Justice League, and after realizing that her intentions were not malicious, was offered a spot on the new junior division of the League, both as a way to keep an eye on a potential threat and to teach her that human life was worth preserving, hopefully gaining a true ally in her.

While she comes from, and ruled over, a realm based around violence, she is not very violent unless provoked, as she is used to ruling from a distance and answering challenges to her reign as they are offered. She gives off an eerie, ethereal atmosphere about her that is only heightened by the ever-present expression of curiosity and wonder painted on her face. That being said, she is one that needs to be kept a close eye on, because unless reigned in, she will likely not have any limits as to how far she will go against her enemies, given her very domineering sadomasochistic attitude.

However, Dahlia did improve upon the host body, by making it super-humanly agile and much more flexible than an average human. But Dahlia's main power is that of short range teleportation.

            While not exactly a very combat-useful power, she can slightly alter her appearance to blend in with the humans, but she is not a full on shape shifter. At most she can alter her hair color, eye color, and recede her horns, tail, tongue and fangs.
             

            xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxStrengths: Dahlia can teleport more than one person at a time so long as they maintain skin contact with her. Her advanced flexibility and agility, along with her teleportation, make it easier to evade oncoming attacks and give her precision in her attacks.  

            xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxWeaknesses: Teleporting more than just herself expends significantly more energy, so group teleportations need to be used sparingly since it would wear her out easily. She needs to be able to visualize the area she's teleporting to(whether it's via images or floor plans or the like, or simply by memory of being there). Right now she has a limit of about half a mile that she can teleport. Her demonic nature gives her an inherent weakness to Judeo-Christian holy items(crucifixes, stars of David, Bibles, etc.) and she cannot enter land deemed holy by Judeo-Christian faiths.

            》| Noted Biography:  Gabriella was born to a middle class family in Wales. While they did not struggle to have three meals a day, her life growing up, was far from glamorous. She hails from a small village there, the kind where everyone knew just about all of the neighborhood secrets. Needless to say, her hometown discovered that she was special at almost the same time she did; there had been no way to hide it. Though, they remained quiet, considering her existence in their lives a blessing. As long as she understood the injury, Bre could fix it with a simple touch and concentration. This made her a treasure in the town, one who everyone adored, despite her somewhat foolish antics. 

            When she wasn't mending small hurts, Bri did as most teenagers did – she attended school and dated one of the local boys, Justin. Living in such a small place, most everyone knew and approved of the match. While he had not officially asked her, as they were still only nineteen, she expected to build a life with him in their later years. 

            But this peaceful life was not meant to be, not forever at least. The war on terrorists made its way to Europe, and her small town caught the brunt of an attack, leaving over a hundred dead – half their population. When the bomb hit, the shock wave rocked their home, and the tertiary blast threw them fifty feet from their positions. Her parents and Justin fell victim to the blasts. 

            Many had body parts torn asunder – a wound that she didn't have the capacity to heal.... and with so many hurt, time and energy ran short. She had to watch many of her family die, as they were reaching out to her, begging for help that she couldn't give. Brokenhearted, confused and feeling like an epic failure, Gabriella and her sister (the only survivor in her immediate family) fled Wales and eventually found themselves in America. It was a hard life, they scraped by on minimum wage as they worked what jobs they could find. A few years later, they became citizens of the land of immigrants, and made a nest for themselves on the East Coast. They both attended school on borrowed money, Aubrey for artistic design and Gabriella for nursing. Aubrey met the man she calls her husband during her junior year, and married soon after they graduated. While the sisters remained close, as they aged the gap between them grew. Each wanted what the other had – Aubrey wanted eternal youth, Gabriella wanted the life that had been denied to her so long ago. The elder sister had since kept her distance, not wanting to drag Aubrey and her family into a manhunt for the genetic weirdos, should the public view change. 

            Instead, Bri became the modern nomad, only staying in one place for a few years at a time, so as to not rise suspicions. She worked in several career paths to try and avoid any messy trails following her, ranging from flight attendant, to personal trainer to microbiology. Her longest stint was as a massage therapist for four years while she earned her microbiology degree.

Theoretically, Gabriella could alter someone in a harmful way, but the energy this requires far exceeds her energy, and it reflects upon herself when she exhausts her endurance. So if she makes someone sick, the same alteration happens to herself. 

            Repairing damage is much easier for her, but still has its limits. Abrasions, minor cuts and bruises are simple. Deeper tissue repair, fixing an ailing illness requires more energy... and obviously curing an entire disease requires the most. The latter will make her sleep for days, depending on the severity and complexity of it. 

            Due to the fact that she cannot shut her mutation off from herself, Gabriella does not get sick. If she is exposed to an illness, she may feel under the weather for a few hours at most. Her DNA is constantly re-morphing to a perfect state, which has made her impervious to aging past her prime. 
             

            xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxWeaknesses: Because her DNA is constantly altering herself, she cannot see a doctor. They would not be able to diagnose her, and her body will reject medicine in a most unpleasant way. Gabriella can only repair something while in the vicinity of the sick or injured, and as stated above, can only do so much without needing a vast amount of sleep.

            》| Noted Biography: As a boy growing up in Pakistan, a region already known for it's many issues both domestic and foreign, Aman's life was rough from the beginning. His parents were poor, living on the fringes of the country's capital of Islambad. His mother had to stay home to take care of him and his 7 siblings, while his dad went out to do any work that he can get his hands on. Some days, the family didn't have enough to eat, forcing the oldest children, Aman included, to make sacrifices. His dire situation, plus the turbulent world around him, and the fact he felt he couldn't change his current situation, made him a very angry young man.

            As a teenager, Aman turned to crime, stealing anything valuable that he can sell just to get enough money for his family to live on. Over the years, he got very good at this, able to provide his family with slightly better living conditions and the ability for him and his siblings to go to school without any of them becoming aware of what he's doing on the side. His actions however caught the attention of the local gang when he stole a prized watch from one of their top leaders. Instead of killing the boy however, he offered the young Aman to join. Thinking he would be taken care of and he would have people backing him up, he accepted.

            While in the gang, he was constantly told to steal anything and everything from targets the leader selected. He became one of their best, and even had ambitions to take over the gang, something the current leader didn't want. When another member told him about Aman's plans, the leader set him up. Aman remembered the day like it was yesterday. It was a normal heist, nothing more. Aman had done many like these before. But the heist went sour when he heard the familiar sounds of police sirens. Next thing he knew, he was knocked out cold and thrown into a jail cell.

            He was interrogated harshly, not only about the crime he was caught for, but for the various other crimes he did. At first, he didn't know who told the authorities where he was, but back in his cell, one of the gang members came by his cell and told him the truth: the gang leader set him up, thinking he was too much of a threat to his authority. After hearing this and after he left, a fierce rage enveloped the young man. As he gripped the bars of his cell, his skin seemed to flake off. In shock, he looked at his hands as the warm desert wind came through. He then realized that the particles he thought was his skin was instead sand. After several different attempts, he succeeded in controlling his innate abilities. When police responded to a jailbreak, they found a small pile of sand around the bars.

            With revenge on his mind, he went immediately to where his gang's hideout was. Anyone who got in his way was shown that it wasn't wise to do that. Having quickly gained a slight bit of control over his powers, he sliced the door apart with his own hands and confronted his former leader. Watching the pathetic man beg for his life after his attempt to kill him (emptying an entire clip into him) failed miserably. By the time the rest of his gang got to their bosses office, he was dead on the ground, in a pool of his own blood. Aman was now Gang Leader.

            But leading a gang was not all it was cracked up to be, and even though he used his wealth and influence to help others, the gang life was beginning to wear on him. So he renounced his ties with his former gang, boarded a plane to America, and moved to Metropolis, where he decided to use his abilities to help people rather than harm them. His actions would eventually get him an invitation to join the Justice League, an offer he was more than happy to accept, considering it a way to atone for his perceived sins.

Though still a fairly powerful skill due to it's many applications and ways of moving around. He has also learned to morph a limb into sand, such as an arm or a leg, but nothing smaller due to him still lacking fine control.

            xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxStrengths: Aman is a flexible combatant, able to adapt to a situation quickly and eventually, use his powers for a variety of unique ways. He can squeeze through nearly every opening, even the tiniest crack, and his sand powers make him a fearsome combatant. Go fast, hit hard, down his opponents quickly. That is how he does things. Finally, with enough time, his is near impervious to attack when he is in his sand form.

            xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxWeaknesses: Copious amounts of water or other liquids can make sand stick together, making him vulnerable to attack. Iron and Gold Dust, being heavier than sand, can weigh him down. Fire turns sand into glass, which is a no go for him. Wind can scatter the sand that makes up his body if he doesn't focus on keeping it together. Finally, he can only be in sand form for a full day, before he has to become solid and stay so to recover (usually takes another full day).

            xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxOther notes: A genetic scanner will note that Aman does not have a metagene, yet still has these powers. Why he has them is currently a mystery.

            Street Fighting (Intermediate)- Being in a gang for all of his teenage life and part of his young adult life, Aman is a very capable and brutal street fighter, and can be a hard foe for even some martial arts experts.

            Street Smarts (Master in Pakistan, Beginner anywhere else)- Aman has many connections in the Underworld, and if he needs a favor, he could call it. This stems from many years in gang life. However that only applies in Pakistan.

            Thievery (Intermediate)- Stealing since he was in his early teens, Aman can take your wallet faster than you can reach for it. Although he is trying to go straight in most circumstances, he will steal if it is needed.

            Stealth (Intermediate)- When he needs to be sneaky, he can be sneaky. Especially since your powers allow you to sneak through even the tiniest crack. But he isn't a master, since even sand makes a sound.

            Sand Sculpting (Beginner)- In his spare time, he sculpts with sand, and although he has an edge because of his powers, he's not Picasso.

            Oil Painting (Beginner)- He's taken up painting in his spare time, and although he's not Picasso, he can make a pretty work of art.

            》| Noted Biography: Lola grew up with an overprotective father and no mother. Her curious and adventurous personality had a way of getting her into trouble quite often, which was probably part of the reason her father was so protective of her, trying his best to keep her out of any serious trouble. And he was pretty good at it, having learned how to curb her behavior at least to a small degree from her childhood. It had never been completely effective though and the young Atleantean often found herself right where she wasn't supposed to be.

            His biggest concern had always been that she would wander off and find something interesting, and never come home. His attempts to keep her in Atlantis consisted of him hinting and implying that it was the only safe place for her, that outside of Atlantis was only evil and despair, especially outside of the ocean. And although Lola never took it too seriously, it managed to root itself into her to some degree, as she didn't wander outside of the safety of her home.

            Growing up she was trained in hand-to-hand combat, which she favored over the training they tried to give her with a polearm. It was something she enjoyed, and her father seemed to like it as well, since he knew exactly where she was at least part of the time. Her life, for the most part, was rather uneventful. She had some training and a social life, but nothing out of the ordinary. And she didn't mind because she was perfectly happy with her life.

            It was by pure dumb luck that she one day stumbled into a situation that would completely change her life. When she encountered Aquagirl in Atlantis on League business, Lola's curious personality got the better of her and when she found out that she was searching for a low level villain that was thought to have possibly fled to the ocean, Lola was quick to offer her help. The search lead her beyond the boundaries of Atlantis, and even when the League discovered that their villain was in the surface world, Lola continued to help, making her first venture out of the ocean.

            It was much more wondrous and beautiful than her father had ever mentioned. She was sure he had never been on the surface before. After the villain was caught, with Lola's help, the Atlantean had had every intention of remaining on the surface to explore this new world, but had somehow been convinced to return home. Once she was back to her regular life, she realized just how dull it really was. That feeling, along with her father enlisting his friend's son to keep an eye on her, easily wore on her and when she was contacted by Aquagirl a few weeks later and asked if she would like to be a part of the Justice League, she jumped on the opportunity. She left her home with nothing but a message left for her father, unable to face him for her goodbye.

            》| Noted Biography: Savanna grew up as any other child born to an overly rich family, spoiled. She had always gotten what she wanted, when she wanted. Both her mother and father were and still are wrapped around her slender fingers. Her father owns one of the, now best, movie companies, and has money invested everywhere. This allowed Savanna to never suffer a day in her life. Private schools, the best of the best in town. She was one of the brightest minds in her class, something she strives to be, just so she could feel better than her other classmates.

            From a young age, Savanna trained in gymnastics. This led to a high school career of cheer leading, as well as leading her teams, both the cheer squad and gymnastics team, to nationals. They took the trophy every year. She held captain of both teams both her junior and senior year. She over worked her girls most of the time, commanding perfection, and refused to accept even the smallest slip up, claiming that if she could do it, they could too.

            Soon after graduating, she was selected to participate in the summer Olympics that were held in Africa to represent the United States in gymnastics. For this she trained harder than she ever had, wanting to be the best of the best, something she had achieved according to her parents when she won one gold medal. Though of course one hadn’t been enough for her, she wasn’t the best in her mind, and now she never would be. It irritated the spoiled princess to no end.

            It was while Savanna was in Africa that everything changed for her. It was the day before she was supposed to leave when she was approached by a rather dirty looking man. She had seen him several times before, but thought nothing of it. He claimed that he had been waiting for her, that he has seen her coming. He was a shaman, one who claimed Savanna was a descendant from Tantu, a man who was able to call upon the powers of the animals through his connection to the Earth’s morphogenetic field. The man then claimed that Savanna possessed the same abilities, though on a smaller level due to years of diluted bloodlines.

            The strange man gave Savanna a stone, a tiger’s eye. He claimed that it would awaken her powers. She had only accepted the stone to get the strange man to leave her alone. He claimed that she would soon be an important figure for all of mankind.

            Savanna soon left Africa, the stone still in her possession. It was something she had regretted once she had gotten home. The Shaman seemed to be right, the stone had woken something in the young girl. It was something primal, something basic. It was almost like another consciousness sleeping within her body. It boosted her own abilities, making her even more agile and nimble than she had previously been, though once that other consciousness woke up, things changed even more.

            When the consciousness was alert, she was able to do amazing yet frightening things. She could see in the dark, hear the mice moving in the walls, smell the creamer in the fridge. It scared her, though out of fear of being different, of fear of being frowned upon, she kept this a secret from her family, using her spare time to develop this curse so that she wouldn’t hurt herself or someone else that she cared about. It wasn’t until she was nearly done with college that she reached out to someone for help in figuring out what this was.

            It was another shaman that had explained her powers more in depth to her. This man had explained that Savanna was indeed a descendant of a powerful family, one that had nearly been lost. He also confirmed that her powers were indeed diluted, giving her only the ability to summon the consciousness of her spirit animal of the feline family. He claimed that it was a gift, one that could possibly expand, though Savanna viewed it more like a curse.

            Shortly after her visit with the second shaman, she was invited to join the Justice League. After some prodding she was convinced to join, saying that she would be with those who were like her, who were special. It would be a place where she wouldn’t have to pretend to be normal, where she wouldn’t have to ignore what was inside of her.

Though because of her blood line being so diluted she can only manifest the ability to mimic her spirit animal, the feline. When she calls upon the powers of her spirit animal her nails become like claws, growing slightly longer, and her hearing, sight and sense of smell increase. When this power is not channeled she still has the grace of a feline, though it is slightly diluted. It is unknown to Savanna, but like in the lore about the cats she does posses nine lives.

            xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxStrengths: When the spirit animal is channeled, Savanna can see in the dark, hear more than what the human ear can, and can jump further than without it. And from about two stories up she can still land on her feet. Savanna can also come back from death nine times.

            xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxWeaknesses: Even when Savanna’s spirit animal is channeled she can still be killed by anything. If dropped from any height over two stories, Savanna could really hurt herself, breaking bones and possibly worse. It is unclear at the moment to Savanna if she has the nine lives that felines are said to have, and she would rather not test it out. And even though she does not know about this ability, it still has its draw backs. When she does come back from death, there is no telling how long it will take. There is also some memory loss with this, depending on how bad her injuries are and how long it has taken her to come back. There of course is also the fact that she only has nine.

            》| Noted Biography: Mason was born and raised in Star City by two loving parents, Lydia and Dean. They lived comfortably on his father’s salary, being a firefighter/paramedic. His brother, Keifer, was born when he was four and it was nice to be able to get away with things simply because his fussy brother wore his poor mother out and his father wasn't around nearly as much as he was needed due to his profession. Growing up, he did get into some trouble, being the class clown and teasing other students. He always did well in school, but never felt challenged and he had to find other ways to challenge himself. Unfortunately those ways were less than constructive.

            He was fifteen when his parents divorced and the boys ended up living with their mother. And as nice as it would have been to have a happy, picture perfect family, Mason had been relieved when they finally split up. He loved his parents, and he would have liked it if they could love each other too, but leading up to the divorce they’d fought relentlessly. It had been much harder to hear them screaming at each other, wondering if it would escalate to physical violence, wondering if he would have to choose a side, than them divorcing. For him anyway. His little brother, on the other hand, took the divorce much harder and all Mason could think to do was try to make him smile the best way he knew how - by being a clown.

            Three years later, their mother remarried to a man named Alan with a nine-year old daughter named Jessica, and at first he seemed okay. But then he got fired and Mason realized he couldn't find one redeeming quality in his mother’s new husband. They had to live, all five of them, on his mother’s measly salary and his father’s child support because the man didn't have a job, and instead of looking for one he sat on the couch and drank all day. The young troublemaker didn't know what his mother saw in him, but he seemed to make her happy which was the only reason Mason let it be. As he got to know the man he did eventually find some good in him. He was a decently friendly guy most of the time and if nothing else, he'd taken Mason and Keifer in as his own. But his drinking was obviously a problem, and he wasn't a pleasant drunk. He was prone to violent outbursts whenever he drank and those occasions became more and more common an occurrence. Even his own daughter wasn't safe when he was in a bad mood. However, Mason never had a problem standing up to the man, especially in the defense of the rest of the family. Being yelled at had never really bothered him, he was always in trouble for something so he was more than used to it.

            And after these arguments, he usually went out and found something to do that he knew his parents would disapprove of. Drinking underage, getting high, seducing ladies, and the like. He just wanted to get away and forget about his troubles, it had nothing to do with rebelling against anyone though his parents took it that way when they found out. It was when his life of crime began as well. It started small, he and his friends found entertainment in seeing what they could steal from liquor stores without being noticed. But overtime Mason looked for bigger challenges, growing bored of petty theft. He could steal something valuable, pawn it and have some drinking money for a couple nights.

            When he became too much for his mother to handle, she 'kicked him out,' which really just meant he was moving in with his father. He liked it much better there, but by now his bad habits had become a lifestyle and one that he didn't care to alter. But before his father could reign his behavior in, he moved out into his own place with what little he'd saved. Theft became more of a necessity than it had been before, paying his bills. Luckily, he was good at staying out of trouble for the most part. Most of his run ins with the law were traffic violations and minor charges. He attended college on his father's dime but never took it very seriously. He did, however, tutor his classmates for money, always in need of a little more cash. And the more stress he found himself under, the more desperately he felt the need to unwind. He found himself experimenting with drugs some, all under the advisement of the circle he ran with. They always had something new and interesting for him.

            One night at a bon fire under a bridge, he was introduced to an especially interesting new drug. It had supposedly just hit the streets and along with a wicked high it was said to grant super powers. And considering that Mason was already slurring words when he was offered a taste, he easily took it. Although it made him feel amazing, he didn't remember much else from that night. But apparently, in an indecently impaired state he'd tried to drive his girlfriend of the time (who wasn't in any better shape) home. The most memorable moment of the accident was hanging upside down trying to make sense of what was going on. He'd heard Krystal whimpering beside him but couldn't physically turn his head to see her. Instead he'd focused on the blood dripping - whether it was hers or his he wasn't sure - and the way the frame of the truck seemed to oddly hug him, but hadn't killed him. As he tried to put all of the pieces together he kept looking down as his hands handing in front of him. They seemed strange but for the life of him he didn't know why.

            When he woke up in the hospital the next day his fuzzy memories made a little more sense. At least as much sense as they could make. He'd turned into metal; that was how he'd survived the crash despite the fact that his side of the truck had been pulverized. He didn't tell anyone, especially his family, but they seemed to suspect something strange had happened. He stayed with his father while he recovered, and his mother and siblings visited often. Krystal never spoke to him again, and he cut ties with the people he had been spending his free time with. That night shook him to his core, it was a sobering event that helped him to turn his life around, much to his parent's relief. He quit smoking and drinking cold turkey, successfully. Sitting around with nothing to do didn't help though, and he had to find himself some hobbies. Running was his first endeavor. It helped a lot, just changing his normal schedule helped a lot. He got a minimum wage job, and then a second, and started taking part in half marathons, fun runs and especially runs that helped a cause.

            And soon he found a new cause that hit a little close to home that he could donate his time to. After apprehending a purse snatcher one day on a busy street he found a way to use his expertise for good. Stealing from thieves definitely sounded like fun. He started a word of mouth service to people who had been robbed - who the police couldn't help. He started to pick up the slack of the Star City PD, losing some faith in police in general when he realized how often their hands were tied in matters like these. Recovering family heirlooms and valuable items while striking fear into the hearts of the scum taking them in the first place was somehow fulfilling. But he only had a few years of practice before moving across the country to become a part of the Justice League.

He can take an incredible amount of damage and increased strength to his structure gives him increased strength(period). Anything that doesn't damage his iron form cannot hurt him. He can also withstand very cold temperatures and temperatures of up to 2797 degrees F (the point at which he will start melting).

            xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxWeaknesses: While completely iron moving around is more difficult as his iron form is much stiffer and more difficult to move than his human form. His non-iron form is just as vulnerable to damage as any regular human is, and if his iron form is damaged in anyway, it translates to his human form. For example, if something scratches his iron form, once he shifts back the scratch will turn into a cut on his human form. If his Iron form is destroyed (melted, crushed, etc…) it will kill him. He cannot change the shape of his body, and cannot swim in iron form (too heavy). Iron is magnetic so he is at the mercy of any strong magnets. Iron also conducts electricity and while it is fairly harmless to him in his iron form, he often experiences discomfort when he shifts back after being hit with electricity.

            xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxOther notes: His clothes turn to iron with his body, though he can't turn anything else to iron. In his iron form he has no need to eat, drink or breathe, he feels no hunger or thirst. But if he goes too long without eating or drinking, when she shifts back to his human form he may be famished or dehydrated.

            》| Noted Biography: Elke was born in Gotham city to a fairly normal family, her father being a police officer and her mother being a school teacher. As a child, Elke’s mother was diligent in assuring her child was caught up in her subjects and was more than prepared when first going to school. Elke was her parents’ pride and joy, learning to talk before she turned two and being naturally gifted.

            Throughout school she excelled in everything she did. She made the school basketball and soccer teams as well as she joined the track team. Elke was one of the kids in school that was popular and well known for being genuinely nice to everyone, not for reputation based on being prom queen or other insignificant details.

            Come her graduating year she was elected as a valedictorian on behalf of her school, an honor she was more than happy to accept. Teachers and fellow peers alike adored her and expected great things of her in her future.

            Surprisingly enough, though, Elke chose the route of being a police officer despite excelling in her classes and being eligible for most any university or college she could choose to attend. It was partly following in her father’s footsteps, having always admired him but more so it was because she wanted a profession where she could help people.

            Upon entering the force she was given a specialized test to determine where she would be placed in the force despite being new to her occupation. After she was deemed worthy of joining the special division of the police known as the R.F. or The Resistance Force, she was given a waiver to sign as to whether she gave permission to be experimented on or not. Finding the opportunity exciting, a youthful nineteen year old Elke was hasty to sign her body over to science and await the results.

            Elke remained in the force practicing her abilities along with performing normal duties but gradually the side effects from using her ability became more and more trying on her. Despite her struggles, though, eventually she was noticed by the League and commended for her efforts as an officer and was asked if she would like to join them.

She is able to use them as a method of travel, manifesting herself from one location to another, though her current range is roughly thirty feet. As of the moment she is also able to pulsate darkness, concentrating it into a blast or wall to protect herself with. Lastly, her abilities grant her a natural ability to see much better than the average person in the dark.

            xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxWeaknesses:Elke’s ability is far from stable as she happens to be one of the earlier test subjects, resulting in imperfections that often manifest themselves. Her reliance upon the alternate persona that resides within her after being experimented on sometimes leads to bleak situations where it’s questionable as to whether it’s Elke controlling her powers or the powers controlling Elke. As a result she is not as in tune or knowledgeable of her powers as she could be due to the fact it’s not always her using them. Lastly, if she utilizes her abilities too much it threatens her well-being in that she can easily become lost in the darkness she wanders through when traveling and her ability can overcome her and consume her. Lastly, she possesses a sensitivity to extremely bright light which mostly irritates her in the form of migraines.

            》| Noted Biography: It's only fitting to start this with information on the two parents who birthed Isis; Osiris Valentina and Jasmine Valentina. Osiris is a wealthy businessman of Egyptian descent, and owner of the Bombay Stock Exchange. It is one of the most important financial institutions all of India. Osiris is a powerful individual with bilingualism, natural charisma and charm that made him an asset to his country. While still in his youth, Osiris held sexual relations with a beautiful women named Jasmine. Jasmine was a rare beauty due to her lineage to the Romani people. It was because of this that Osiris was quick to claim her as his lover. He wanted her for himself, and immediately married the woman. She retired from her job as a fortuneteller since Osiris saw it as silly for her to work a job so pointless. Their love soon blossomed in the form of a baby girl they named Isis.

            Isis was seen as an outgoing child from the time she could talk. The girl held all the traits her father did with her infectious energy and was a sweetheart like her mother. The youth grew up quickly as most do, and soon began taking in interest in the Circus. Isis had a lot of natural flexibility that her parents helped hone through years of gymnastics. Isis, 12 at the time, wanted to join the popular Circus that had found a home in Mumbai and was in need of a new Trapeze artist. Her parents were reluctant but eventually saw the opportunity as perfect for her when she proved herself capable. Isis quickly became a sensation at the circus as their youngest Trapeze artist and soon their contortionist. By the age of 17 the Circus was paying her for showing up for performances. To congratulate the girl on her star status, her parents took her on a cruise in their private ship to Southeast China. The trip seemed like all fun and games until a storm hit.

            The storm jumped upon the family with no warning to it's rocky arrival. Isis remembers how black the sea was that night that the storm hit. It was as if someone had used black construction paper as a veil to cover the bottom of the turbulent waters. Osiris commanded the girls to get below deck as he tried to steer the ship through the storm. Isis and her mother stayed huddled together as they tried to wait out the worst. As Isis held onto her mother's hands, all she could see were flashes of the ship wrecking and being separated from her family. In an instant the storm seemed to be subsiding enough for Isis mother to go and check on her father. Almost instantly the storm picked back up with enough force steer the ship of course and slam the family into a headland in the South China Sea. Isis was flung from the safety of her bed and into a wall from the force of the collision. She was almost knocked unconscious when a wave of water came bursting through her door and threatened to pull her into the murky depths when it receded. Isis latched onto the wall of the door in an attempt to stay on the boat and not let the waters take her. It was to no avail. Another wave swooped in and pried her hands off of her lifeline. Isis screamed for help as she flailed in the waters, hearing only her mother's scream above hers. Isis tried swimming to the boat only to be forcefully pulled under...but not by the ocean.

            When Isis awoke, she was lying on a bed in what looked like a prison cell. Her captors laughed as she awoke and began taunting her, but in a different language. Chinese, perhaps?! Soon a man whose name belies her even to this day, walked into the room speaking English, a language she did understand thanks to teachings from her father. He explained that all would be made clear soon, and that her induction into the League would be coming to a close. The man shot her right in her stomach with a gun and left her with some medical supplies. The goal was to see if she would try to survive by removing the bullet herself, or die from desperation. Isis chose survival and was granted freedom by her captors.

            She was brought on to an uncharted island where she was quickly inducted into the League of Assassins(LoA). The organization made it known that because they had saved her, she had no choice but to repay them with her life. Isis saw no other options but to comply. Soon the young girl was training with the LoA in the use of bladed weaponry(throwing knives, swords, etc.), martial arts, and the use of her latent powers that were quickly revealing themselves with each passing moment. Isis became an asset to the LoA due to her prophetic abilities and combat prowess. It was because of this that their mark was branded into her skin as a reminder of who she belonged to. Little did they know that the once innocent girl was now plotting her chance to escape.

            Her first mission alone required her to kill a corrupt senator in South Africa. Isis knew that this was her chance, but she needed to carry out the mission as if she had no intentions of escaping. Unfortunately, just when she was about to slit the throat of the Senator his daughter came into the bedroom to see Isis standing with a knife over his neck. Isis couldn't bring herself to kill him and quickly fled the scene. She escaped with the LoA hot on her trail. There was only one way to leave the LoA, and that was death.

            Isis somehow managed to make her way to America where she began trying to start a new life. It was hard considering her family was still alive in India; a cruise ship found the distraught couple. Isis knew she couldn't go back to them though since the LoA was after her. She didn't want her family placed in any form of danger, and how could she return as a stone cold killer?! Crime fighting became an outlet for her and eventually a method for forgiving her past transgressions as an Assassin. It was these vigilante deeds that caught the eye of a Justice League Recruiter. Isis was soon inducted into a new League, one that would prove to be a true beacon of hope for a new generation. Although she was trying to make a name as a hero, the LoA would still be out for her, and she hoped that the Heroes would help her when the time came to confront her demons.

It helps her achieve various goals whether it be seducing the socks off a man or working her way into Deacon's good graces.             xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxPersonal Weaknesses: Isis's greatest weakness is also her greatest strength; her strong will. Isis likes to get things done a certain way which, in a team setting, can get complicated. Unlike most heroes, she is more willing to kill. Obviously that won't fly with her new team. This can lead to personality conflicts with those similar to her and those who are the opposite of her. It sometimes sends the impulse to do everything on her own, and rush into situations without the proper assistance.

            》| Superhuman Ability: Coming from a long lineage of Gypsies, it is only natural for Isis to possess similar powers as her forgotten ancestors. Her two chief abilities, Psychometry and Psychic Navigation, are reflective of the fortunetelling powers of the Romani people. Isis also possesses an ability not as well known to the public, and most see as a myth; the enchantment of clothing. Isis can use this power offensively by manipulating cloth and other 'soft' fabrics.

            xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxStrengths: Isis's psychometric power enables her to see where an object/person has been and where their going, like a classic fortuneteller. This ability makes her useful for tracking individuals or learning of events that partook in a certain area. Psychic navigation allows Isis to mentally scope out areas with her mind's eye, so to speak. It allows her to see full circle around herself and into buildings(among other constructs) as if she were actually inside. When used in conjunction with her psychometry(meaning she must have an object belonging to an individual), she can track a person of interest to their current location with ease. Her cloth manipulation, or enchantment of cloth is a unique skill that not all Gypsies possess. It allows her to enlarge/multiply fabrics to entangle her foes, swing from rooftops, or forcefully strike targets when hardened. She can increase the density of her materials to make it as durable as metal yet retain it's fluidity. She usually carries around two blue silk cloths that act as her weapon of choice since their easy to manipulate on the fly. The manipulation of fabric allows her to tighten the clothing on individuals to constrict movement, or silently kill from constriction.


            xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxWeaknesses:Isis's powers have various pitfalls, some worse than others. Her power of psychometry is very tactile, and requires contact with some item(or person in question) in order for her see the past/future. Psychic Navigation, while useful, can only work within a certain radius unless used in conjunction with her psychometry. Anything within a 100ft radius can be scoped out, anything further within a building for example, will become blurry or unseen. The power of cloth manipulation is limited to soft materials. This means that harder materials like leather, and plastic are resistant to control by Isis.

            》| Non-powered Abilities:

            Contortionist(Master): Isis has always been naturally flexible, to the point of extremity with some of the ways she is capable of bending her body. This skill has only increased during her time with the LoA and found use in her style of fighting.

            Acrobat(Proficient): While in the circus, Isis was a performing acrobat. Her agility became trained due to the many gymnastic maneuvers required of her. Acrobatics happen to be a hobby of hers, and she still practices on balance beams(etc.) to keep her skill in this area honed.

            Stealth(Proficient): This is the chief skill taught to the LoA operatives. This skill allows Isis to literally quite the sound of her own heartbeat, and manipulate her breathing to effectively take out unknowing targets without being noticed. Her stealth training also incorporated the use of certain weapons such as throwing knives and poison darts.

            Martial Arts(Adv.): She Quan (蛇拳) also known as Snake Fist, is a mid-to-low range fighting style which is used in a downward open semi-closed palm jabbing movement or a poke. It is moderately fast and reasonably hard to counter like. It is a long-ranged fighting style at times because it is often used before other opponents can reach the target. The fighting style requires a great deal of trained flexibility with it's quick whipping motions, and contortionist grabs. When given the opportunity for a combo She Quan is devastating but unfortunately She Quan does not often create such opportunities; this makes the style best suited for more planned counter attacks. She Quan is not a traditionally taught martial art, and is used by only the most elite of the League of Assassins. In addition to hand-to-hand martial arts, Isis was also trained in the use of weapons such as staffs, swords, firearms, and how to turn ordinary objects into useful weapons in dire times.

            》| Noted Biography: Karmen's family is small, and what many might consider broken. Her grandparents died long before she was born, her mother died in a car crash, bringing little Karmen into the world three months too early. Brian, devastated, named the little tot after his late wife's best friend, who had done what she could to save the little girl in the accident. He gave her the name, but started with a “K,” to commemorate his wife. After six arduous months in the pre-natal unit, the baby came home with them for the first time.

            Growing up in the small family, Karmen spent a lot of time with her dad – learning the ropes of how to diagnose problems with cars, and always asked questions about her mother – loving her through the stories that each member of her family would tell her. Given the fact that she'd been taken from them by a drunk driver, Karmen wanted very much to go into law enforcement, and excelled through her studies so that she could attend a university on scholarship; her father would have otherwise not been able to pay for any sort of secondary education.

            Her mutation was late in coming – she'd awakened one night to her bed on fire in her dorm room. Unable to explain the cause, she was dubbed the pyro by everyone on the small campus. With the help of grants, student loans and a few scholarships from a local university, Karmen traveled to Europe, studying abroad there for a semester, where she decided not to return home. No one there knew of the incident on campus, so it made sense. Making a transfer, she was to finish out her degree in London, where she was approached for a job opportunity with Americans in the British Embassy. They needed a student, she needed an extended visa. While it wasn't the most glamorous of occupations, it paid for her modest apartment... and she was sure it would give rise to new opportunities. In a few months' time, it did. Not only did it offer her a visa, help pay her tuition, Karmen quickly found herself in a whirlwind of activity.

            The people who had hired her were mutants, had detected she was as well and wanted to help her with her control – as no one wanted an untrained firebug prowling a city. Agreeing to join forces with them, they taught her what was needed for her to use the mutation without killing anyone. Finding that she fit in perfectly with the clan, the Virginia native was content to continue working with them.

            It wasn't until her boyfriend in the group was caught cheating and deserted her that Karmen decided to go back home to America – everything about London bleak and lonely. Her connections with her brother, and then with her former experience as a British Embassy employee secured her a position with the state government, tracking crimes related to mutants. Close to her heart, she worked long hours, searching for anything that might have told her where Cody had gone... but only found dead ends.

            It was two months after she'd returned home that she discovered something indicative of her old flame when she decided to investigate on her own. What it brought her to wasn't really a crime syndicate location, but a group of people that she would learn to call the Justice League. Leaving the state job behind, Karmen was certain that the group would one day run across him, and she could light him on fire for breaking her heart.

            xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxStrengths: Able to start her own fires by speeding up the atoms in the air, this firebug is able to manipulate flames in a way to send them at someone or something. Being one with fire gives her immunity to heat. With her current mastery, she's able to propel large balls of flame as far as she can throw them, but can only start fires within a three foot radius of herself. She can draw a circle of fire around an object, the flames get to be about two feet tall.

            xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxWeaknesses:She can only sustain fire for so long on her own, after that it needs to be fed if it's been off of her for more than three minutes. While she has an immunity to heat, she does not have an immunity to smoke inhalation. She cannot control large amounts of fire that are not her own, so putting out a forest fire would not be an option.

            》| Uniform: His suit actually looks like spandex or some sort of muscle suit, but in actually, it's made of Kelvar that has been treated with liquid armor, which hardens within milliseconds on impact. This allows Nightwing to move more freely while being more resistant to damage such as gunfire or blunt-force trauma. The suit is also resistant to fire and has built in temperature regulators to help the wearer feel comfortable in almost every environment. The helmet is also made of ceramic and can protect the wearer against blunt-force trauma, and has night-vision capabilities as well as a communication device. The face mask can also become fully enclosed in order to protect against airborne toxins for a certain amount of time. Retractable scallops on his arms can help with fighting enemies with longer blades weapons such as swords or daggers. The entire suit is made of a photo-sensitive material that adjusts to the amount of light around him, making him still hard to spot in dimly-lit areas. One of his most-used weapons are his Escrima sticks, which are stored on his back and concealed by his cape.

            His cape is not just for show - it is made of a certain kind of 'memory cloth' that when activated, turns into a semi-rigid wing form that helps Nightwing glide certain distances.

            Nightwing always has a stocked utility belt, that has the following items: smoke bombs, Batarangs, grapple gun, a medical kit, tear gas pellets, a lock-picking kit, flash-bang pellets, GPS tracking devices, and an encrypted cell phone (that also attaches to his left gauntlet).

            》| Noted Biography: Michael was born in Blüdhaven when it was in its better years. With the work that the first Nightwing had done to protect the city and rid it of crime, Blüdhaven actually had some good areas that were habitable by respectable people. However, when the original Nightwing stopped operating in Blüdhaven a few years after Michael had been born, things started to go south. Since his neighborhood started to become overrun with gangs, drugs, and violence, Michael's family moved away just before he went to high school.

            It was there that Michael met Heather. She still lived in what was being called 'The Badlands', the part of the city that was turning sour. Since they both shared a similar connection from being surrounded by gangs for a good chunk of their life, they became fast friends. A year later in their sophomore year, they were dating. They had often joked during those times that Heather would eventually move in with Michael so that they would be away from the Badlands and wouldn't have to worry about the popping sounds of gunfire at 3am in the morning.

            Senior year had been great. The two of them spent more and more time together, both looking ahead and trying to plan out a future. They wanted to go to a college that was far away - somewhere that it could be the two of them, and not have to worry about the heap of trash that Blüdhaven was becoming.

            They should have known it would all end in disaster.

            One of Heather's friends had a birthday coming up, and Heather had insisted on planning the party as well as hosting it. The sun was actually out that day - the grass was green, and although Heather's backyard was enclosed with a fence that badly needed repair, everything seemed to be going well... until the shots started going off. One of the party attendants had been in trouble with a local gang, so the gang came to fix the problem with fully-automatic weapons aimed at the entire crowd. Michael was shot twice in the chest - Heather was killed in mere moments.

            Michael spent weeks in the hospital, a blurry mixture of grief and anger swirling inside of him. He managed to graduate, but had to use crutches. Sure, he smiled for the cheering, teary crowd and for the cameras that took all of the pictures afterwards... but inside things were much more different. Michael wanted nothing more than to bash the heads in of the people that killed his precious Heather. When he had recovered from the gunshot wounds, he was impatient one night. He took a baseball bat from his closet and went out to the streets, just looking for trouble. Unfortunately for him, he found it. In his rage, he managed to beat up them all into submission with his baseball bat, but managed to receive a few bruises and cracked ribs himself. He passed out in the alleyway out of exhaustion and adrenaline crash.

            When he woke up in a mansion the next morning, he was approached by a mysterious man (the one who found him in the road, broken and bruised), one who claimed that he could help Michael. The bruised-faced teen chortled at first, having heard the same story over and over and over again - help him. Please. However, when the man explained further, his proposition seemed interesting. The man, an elderly d**k Grayson, offered to train him as the next Nightwing and fight back the crime that took his Heather. Of course, Michael accepted.

            For four long, brutal years Michael trained to become the next Nightwing, all the while attending college as a cover. Michael learned everything from detective skills to stealth to martial arts. When he finally emerged, he was a changed being - not just physically, but mentally as well.

            As the new Nightwing, Michael gained a reputation for himself in the first two years as a caped crusader. He managed to capture a serial killer by the name of the Cheshire Woman who would slice her victims from ear to ear, and prevented a mad arsonist from destroying a large part of the Blüdhaven projects.

            As part of the Batman extended family, Michael had been offered to join the Justice League. Reluctant at first, Michael eventually headed for Metropolis, leaving Blüdhaven in the competent hands of a new Batgirl.

            Martial Arts (Master) - Michael has a blended style of many different martial arts, which include Wing Chun, Escrima, Ninjutsu, Tae Kwon Do, Hapkido, Savate, and Kali. This makes him one of the top-tier hand-to-hand-combatants in the League. Although he doesn't use them often, Michael also has Intermediate training in weapons such as swords, knives, and bo staffs. He has Master training in Escrima sticks and uses them often.

            Stealth (Master) - Nightwing can sneak around with great skill, using shadows and various gadgets and techniques to give him almost legendary status against his enemies. Infiltration is a big part of this as well, as he can get in and out of a lot of places without alerting security.

            Detective Skills (Intermediate) - Michael's ability to deduce and conduct thorough investigations is nearly that of an experienced police detective. His intuition and observation skills allows him to arrive at conclusions to a mystery far before many other people.

            Strategy/Tactics (Master) - This is by far one of Michael's greatest assets. Since he is sometimes at a physical disadvantage with some of the metahumans he faces, he has to outsmart them and use his tools and cunning to take down supervillains.

            Interrogation (Intermediate) - Using intimidation and pain, Michael is able to get any street-level thug talking within minutes. However, a more trained subject would take longer to crack.

            Acrobatics/Parkour (Master) - Having been trained by the original Nightwing, Michael is extremely quick on his feet, able to climb, leap, and vault over anything that is humanly possible to get around.

            》| Noted Biography: Aiden Dusk was born to a fairly wealthy family in Sonoma County, California. He grew up with his twin sister Priya oblivious to many troubles of the outside world. Dusk Vineyard and Winery is peaceful, aside from the occasional theft from one of the store houses or a prank from one of the townsfolk in the valley. The twins were near inseparable, sharing the fairly normal bond and mutual closeness than many siblings do. Aiden is the elder by three minutes, and has mercilessly spent his life reminding his sister of that fact…While chasing off any potential love interests with threats his mother would wash out his mouth for if she heard.

            Life was good to the Dusk children—But by no means were they monetarily spoiled, though their parents had the means. They had chores and responsibilities, duties to the vineyard that could not be shirked. Their father was very firm in teaching them the value of a dollar, and the reward that is found when working with one’s hands for a living. Aiden has learned a good deal about mechanical repairs from helping his father with his hobby of restoring vintage cars, repairing tractors, and various other pieces of farm equipment over the years.

            Aiden knew from a young age that his family was different than most. Other vineyards in different counties suffered from droughts and various forms of crop loss when the weather became unsatisfactory for them. At Dusk Vineyard and Winery, the conditions are always perfect, always suitable. Perfect for producing grapes in mass quantities. When his mother cried, or grew sad for some reason, he’d noticed as a child that it always seemed like God wept with her. When Josephine Dusk shed tears…It rained.

            When the twins hit puberty, within weeks of each other their abilities appeared. Living on a vineyard kept them easy to conceal…Knowing what afflicted their children, Josephine and Arthur Dusk took it upon themselves to try and guide them. It wasn’t an exact science, but they turned an unused barn into a training area. Aiden’s ability showed up for the first time in a relatively innocent fashion. He’d pressed a kiss to his girlfriends cheek, and the girl jerked away with a shriek. She thought that Aiden had simply been playing a trick on her with an ice cube…No such luck. He started freezing objects at random, entire bushels of grapes, and even the tail of his sisters cat.

            Through the years he’s managed to fine tune his control. When he turned eighteen he moved to Los Angeles proper to join the Police Academy. He put in the effort, the years, and went through the training and passed both written and physical exams with flying colors. In his time on the LAPD as a patrol officer he’s learned more about the world, than he ever had from the vineyard. His emails to his sister grew darker with each passing week. The seedy underbelly of the city made him push himself harder. He felt a driving need to do better, to be better. To serve and protect.

            He has lost several hard cases over the years… And learned many hard lessons. From murder to domestic disturbances…Just when he thought he’d seen it all, the world changed, and his position became that much more difficult. It has affected him profoundly, leaving his personality a little more like his mutation…Even though he’s still a rookie trying to earn rank…The cases he is sent out on doesn’t make reality any gentler.

            Aiden has found that being an officer of the law has its drawbacks. For one thing, it’s incredibly hard to hide a cryogenetic ability that can occasionally react visibly in tense situations. He has on many occasions relied on it to get him out of a tight bind… But there are rules, and several sets of protocol that must be followed at all times. He’s come to the conclusion that most criminals don’t deserve the justice system…But because he’s taken oaths to uphold the law, he still follows standard operating procedure and adheres to the chain of command…

            Though he finds himself questioning his life choices more and more lately. He has become unsure if the Police force is where he truly belongs. His particular set of skills and vast achievements at such a relatively young age has been noticed by the League….At first, he thought their contact some kind of prank. But with a gun and a badge in one hand, and his ability in the other…He is at a crossroads, unsure of which direction to turn… It had always been his goal to pay his dues, and then acquire a Detective position…But more and more it seemed that the law was failing. More often than not, he required his ability to aide him…Because the individuals they chased, weren’t always…Human.

            After consulting Priya and a long deliberation, Aiden, against his fathers wishes decided to join the League.

The ice that he creates from water vapor is incredibly compact, and with few flaws. It makes his icy constructs as well as his blasts, very durable and hard to break.             His most obvious/dangerous weakness would be: Extreme Heat. He can stand it, for the most part, but prolonged exposure can cause severe damage or weakness.

            》| Noted Biography: Paisley suffers from amnesia as a result of accidentally falling through a portal that led to a haunted house in Blüdhaven. When she woke up, she felt as if there was a mental block preventing her from remembering the events that led up to the portal incident. However, there were three things that she knew: 1) she was from a different land (though she couldn't remember where), 2) she had a special connection with plant life, and 3) there was a person named Alexander whom she was suppose to find.

            What she doesn't remember...

            Paisley was raised by her mother. When she was a child, she would always ask her mother to tell her the story of her father. She'd never even seen a single portrait of him but her descriptions were always so vivid that Paisley could form a clear image of him in her mind. His name was Arthur Morrigan and he was from a faraway land called Dublin. Getting there was difficult, her mother said, but despite the immense distance, they still loved each other dearly. She would often tell Paisley that she strongly resembled her father for they both had red hair, clear blue eyes, and a sprinkle of freckles.

            Her mother was a seamstress who would often get requests from Queen Titania. Being so well liked by the queen, they were given a roomy house near the forest. Growing up, Paisley would often play in the forest with the other children while her mother busied herself with making dresses and jewelry. Her favorite thing to do as a child was dance around the trees. She always felt at home when she was in the forest and though she couldn't explain it, she felt a strange connection to plant life.

            Because of that, she asked her mother to find her a tutor so she could learn about plants and flowers. Her wish was granted when she was around ten years old. Her mother found an apothecary who was willing to take on an apprentice. There she learned the different properties of plants as well as other ingredients used in medicine. That was also the place where she learned mathematics, languages, and history.

            She was fifteen when she found out she could "talk to" plants. She would make the flowers in the garden bloom overnight and make them grow larger and more vibrant. As she grew up, her powers intensified and the forest became her playground more than ever before. Due to her almost insatiable curiosity, she often remained in the forest for many hours a day experimenting with her newfound abilities. It caused her to miss many classes but it also allowed her to provide the apothecary with some much needed ingredients.

            When she was eighteen, her mother approached Titania with a request to find Paisley a husband. The process was not a quick one but within a year, Paisley was told there was a nobleman by the name of Alexander whom she should meet. He was described as tall, fair skinned, with long raven locks, and a love for spiders, adventure, and long walks in the forest. He was rich enough to provide for Paisley and his talent with blades would allow him to easily protect her. Her mother was supportive of the match and encouraged Paisley to give it a try. Although she wasn't enthused about the marriage, she was excited to meet a handsome man who also loved the forest. They were set to officially meet one afternoon for tea but unfortunately, that never actually happened. While walking through the forest that morning, she saw a glistening pool off in the distance. Her natural curiosity led her to walk over to inspect the pool. As she approached it, she saw that it was a small reflective pond. She bent down to look and was immediately sucked in. The fall pulled her from consciousness and when she awoke, she was on the wooden floor of someone's bedroom.


            The first thing she saw when she woke up was a dusty book written by Sylvia Plath. Not remembering her own name, she adopted Sylvia as a temporary name until she figured out her history. With her wings fluttering behind her back, she made her way around the house until she (literally) ran into a man. His appearance brought forth a feeling of deja vu but she couldn't remember why he looked familiar. The only thing she could remember at the moment was that she had to find a person named Alexander. The familiar feeling plus her vague memory of a person named Alexander led her to believe that the stranger was Alexander.

            He promised he'd help her find answers and left an address on a piece of paper...

            She followed it and found herself at The Watch Tower.

            》| Personality: Paisley or Sylvia is a very curious person who is always willing to go on an adventure. She finds everything interesting and will always have at least one question to ask. She thinks the universe is full of mysteries and wants to be the one to explore and solve those mysteries. She is also a person who is unafraid to feel. She believes emotions are part of what makes a person "alive". Unfortunately, she cycles through emotions a bit too fast and as a result, she has horrible mood swings. She is also quite gullible and will most likely believe anything you say.

            xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxPersonal Weaknesses: She's overly emotional, gullible, at times too curious, tends to overreact, and has no memories of her life.

            ▪ She can manipulate the rate at which a plant grows as well as the size and strength of the plant. (Growth is accelerate but not instantaneous; size and quality can only be slightly enhanced)
            ▪ She can increase or decrease pollen levels, poison levels, and other properties of plants, making them deadly or helpful.
            ▪ She is immune to plant produced poisons/pollen. (Non plant based poison can still affect her)
            ▪ She can use plants offensively or defensively.
            ▪ She can repair and revive plants as long as they're not completely dead. This, however, takes up a lot of energy.


            xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxWeaknesses: Her ability is heavily influenced by her emotions (and unfortunately, she's very emotional). Grief can cause plants to wither, happiness can cause flowers to bloom unexpectedly, and anger can lead to violent growth spurts.
            ▪ Since she's a floramancer, fire is her weakness. Intense weather can also hinder her abilities.
            ▪ She is not yet capable of producing giant plants or cause a fully grown oak tree to sprout from an acorn in mere seconds.
            ▪ Although she is able to repair plants, she cannot heal herself.
            ▪ Barren wastelands are not conducive to her abilities. She carries around a little pouch of seeds so she's not completely powerless.

She is convinced that plants have feelings and because of that, she refuses to eat any plant products. However, she will eat fruits if she has their permission to do so.
