Character Bonds and Rule The maximum number of firelizards a character may have is three, extra flitt slots may be bought from the store if you wish for a character to own more with a maximum of six firelizards own by a character at a single time. It should be noted, however, that staff will step in and refuse to sell a firelizard from the store, or offer a different prize, if we feel that someone is getting carried away.
All firelizards require a profile to be filled out and approved before coming into play, and should be seen in RP just as one would expect to see a dragon take part in their bonded's life.
At irregular intervals, the staff will go through and remove all inactive firelizards. Notices will be sent to owners that have their firelizards removed. Note that if an owner is stripped of more than 5 firelizards, they will no longer be able to obtain a firelizard through events or the store.
Usually, firelizards prefer to lay their eggs in sandy areas, so you're not going to be walking along in the forest and magically find a clutch. If your clutch is approved, the admin must approve color distribution, clutch size, and Impression. You may run the Hatching, but all Impressions will be approved ahead of time. Upon approval of a Hatching, staff will send you the details and images for your Clutch.
Players seen abusing Clutches will see their rights to having them removed.

General Details Small, of mild intelligence, and trainable if one is willing to put in the time, the firelizard can be both a great nuisance and a wonderful companion to its owner. They are about as smart as a fifth grader in sending mental images to their Bonded, Golds are a bit smarter than the rest.
A firelizard will Impress upon the first person that gives them food, regardless of that humans ability to actually take care of them. A firelizard will only designate to stay with a human bonded if they keep them safe, content, and well fed.
All lesser colors listen to Golds, no exceptions. There's no such thing as a "rebellious" firelizard.
Green firelizards are notorious for laying their usually small sized clutches in the most bizarre of locations, usually something that results in the eggs being eaten or destroyed by other creatures. On the other hand, gold firelizards are far more maternal, and while they are more likely to remain with their clutch, they usually do so at the expense of their Bonded - gold firelizards are far more likely to abandon their human for the duration their clutch is hardening, than they are likely to show their human where their clutch is.
Unlike dragons, who's sexual desires completely overwhelm their rider to the point of oblivion, firelizards will do little more than make their Bonded slightly uncomfortable.

Anatomy Firelizards are known as “miniature dragons” due to their insanely similar appearance to that of Dragons. Having six limbs, a set of webbed wings, a set of both front and back legs. A long forked tail and head knobs. Firelizards are only a few feet long from nose tip to tail tip.
Eyes Like the other creatures of Pern, Flitts are unable to have one set eye color. Their eyes tend to change with their mood. Certain colors are a sign of a certain mood, which can change in a rapid flash motion if they wish it. There will be moments when a Flitt will have more than one color appearing, this just signifies that they are feeling two or more emotions at once. Ex: Content/Amusement = Blue/Green.
Listed below is the colors that represent certain moods Happiness/Content: Blue Playful/Excited: Green Confused/Concern: Yellow Alarmed/Irritated: Orange Angry/Enraged: Red Ill/Unhappy: Gray Lust: Purple
Abilities Like Dragons, Firelizards can both jump between and Bond with humans. They can also give mental pictures and share feelings, though are unable to telepathically talk like Dragons do their Riders. They can chew firestone and create flame.

Color Information Gold Gold flitts are the largest female in the colors. They control the other colors because of both their sizes and how strong minded Golds are. They can chew firestone and produce flame while still being able to clutch. They will defend their clutch from anyone or anything staying until her clutch has hatched.
Length: 3ft – 3ft 3in Clutch Size: ~10 Eggs Gender: Female
Bronze The second largest of the flitts, and the largest male in colors. Bronze flitts are usually the ones to fly the Golds.
Length: 2ft 9in – 3ft Chases: Both Female Colors Gender: Male
Brown Third largest of the flitts, and the second largest male in colors. Browns can fly the Queens but the clutches are smaller and there is never a Gold in the clutch. Browns will chase any color females, though they almost always catch Greens.
Length: 2ft 6in – 2ft 9in Chases: Golds – Greens Gender: Male
Blue Fourth largest of the flitts, and the smallest male in colors. Blues usually just fly the Greens as they are too small and slow to catch the Queens, and will more then likely not produce a clutch at all. They are the most numerous males.
Length: 2ft 3in – 2ft 6in Chases: Greens Only Gender: Male
Green Fifth largest of the flitts, smallest of both male and female. Greens are able to both produce flame and clutches.
Length: 2ft – 2ft 3in Clutch Size: ~5 eggs Gender: Female
