Serpentarius just started her patrol for the evening, Already tired thanks to a long night before, thanks to homework piling up rather quickly on her. Lifting her arms above her head, she arched her back until she her that pop that instantly relieved tension in her back. She was really hoping it would be a peaceful night so she could give her boyfriend a call and just go see him.
Glancing around the park for a moment, she sighs as she paused in her step. Her eyes scanning the area for any sign of trouble. It almost quiet, but almost too quiet for her liking, which for the park was strange. She could normally catch one aura or two close by. Tonight, it seem like she was on her own for the most part.
Glancing behind her for a moment, she shakes the uneasy feeling before she kept walking "Just get done with this patrol, then you can go home. Simple as that." she kept reminding herself. She didn't even honestly see why she did these patrols anymore. She didn't find the Dark Mirror Senshi a threat.
The Negaverse...okay, maybe she was still unsure about them..

General Buddingtonite had no idea what to expect from this evenings' patrol, as the night was still young for him. It started off rather slow and steady, but it was pretty much guaranteed that he'd get some kind of excitement this evening when he entered the park. It was a nesting ground of constant drama and excitement, and thus far, the general wasn't at all impressed by the rather meager sightings. He wasn't really scouting for energy, or starseeds, so the idea of a fight wasn't quite present in his mind nor was it high on his list of things to do this evening. Of course if he came down to it, he had his bladed boomerang, Gra the ever so ferocious youma, and his sparkling wit to protect him if it came down to it.
One perk of gaining the general rank was that there were few that could order him around, few to report his findings to, and best of all, so few enemy officers dared approach when his energy signature was at this level. No, certainly wasn't brag worthy and not as untouchable as General-King, but it was still a pretty nice perk and made all the hassle he went through to get it worth it.
Speaking of perk, he felt his inner radar flare at the approaching Order aura, and while it wasn't on the same level as him, it was still nothing he was willing to scoff at. If he had to guess, it was a medium rank, a super senshi. Someone that still could have packed quite a punch if he wasn't careful, and the Negaverse general finally peered from over the bench he was 'scouting' from, looking over the edge and spotting the senshi from what was a safe distance to him. No doubt she'd sense him, and given the amount of red roses on his attire and his brilliant red eyes, he was certain that she'd see him too. Which was just fine with him, as he slung an arm over the side of the bench and flashed her a grin. "Hm, out for an evening stroll and all by your little lonesome? Why is that such a common sight for you White Mooners these days?"
Not that he had any right to speak, given his own lack of present company, but that had all but changed now.
"Care to talk, or are you one of those fighting type? Because I'll be honest- I really don't feel like striking down such a pretty thing like yourself."

Serpentarius did in fact see him long before he spoke up, normally she would have turned the other direction. At the moment, she just didn't care. Moving towards him, she only pauses at his comment about being pretty, which made her arch a brow "Um...thank you?" she laughs a little before she shakes her head "Your in luck..I don't fight, unless you attack first. So I guess we are talking then?" she moves towards the bench only to slip around it to stand in front of him.
Placing one hand on her bare waist, she looks him over for a moment "A general I've never seen, and here I thought I met most of you already." she was honestly starting to wonder how big the Negaverse was "Serpentarius...senshi of snakes..." she actually lifts her hand to hold it out towards him.
"Who might you be?"

There were typically three kinds of reactions Buddingtonite knew he'd get for his wolf whistle. He'd either get an angered response because she'd think he was openly disrespecting her and would trigger a fight, something he was preparing himself for and was confident he could work his way out of if it came to it. The other was a modest 'oh really' reaction and thus he could pray on her insecurities with flowery speeches and empty compliments until he took whatever he wanted from her. The third, and what he felt he received, was a mixture of confusion and skepticism, which was probably the worst he could receive because it left the remainder of their encounter a mystery. Some nights Buddingtonite liked a mystery and wouldn't mind playing the roll of a leaf floating in the wind, wondering where it'd take him and ready to accept the challenge, whatever laid in his path.
Luckily for him indeed, as she seemed disinterested in fighting. Buddingtonite only allowed for a small fraction of that relief be seen in the way he sighed, and he appeared to have relaxed considerably after she made her intentions clear. "Oh, good, because honestly I wasn't in the mood for a fight either. First off, it's too cold and I don't want to risk sweating in this attire. Let me tell you, this suit can be such a burden at times, what with the thickness of the fabric and these thorny pads. Not all all meant for fighting!"
When she came to stand in front of him, he leaned back into a more comfortable position, and he fit the part of a man that had absolutely no place to be except right here. Now that there was no immediate possibility of a fight, Buddingtonite decided to turn on the charm, flashing her a warm smile as he carried on. "Talking is what I do best, actually. That's why I was recruited. Did you know I sweet talked General-King Zinkenite into the Negaverse's services, and well as my recent promotion? What does that tell you?"
That was only a partial lie, but he'd never admit it. Aloud. And not unless under some distress. But the less she knew, the better. He took in her words and introduction, and he couldn't help but snicker, though he was quick to explain it, as he accept the handshake. "General Buddingtonite, but please, just call me Buddy. Forgive me, I mean no disrespect, simply that I know of another general with a similar name. He's a good friend of mine... perhaps the two of you should meet someday? You both have the whole 'snake' theme perfected... though, he's not as easy going with senshi as I am. Scratch that, you two need to stay away from one another. It's for the best."

A Negaverse officer who also wielded the power of snakes?
This cause Serpentarius to blink for a moment at the thought. Most of the officers of the Negaverse she crossed paths with all had weapons. Pushing that little bit of information aside for the moment, she gives a small chuckle "We can trade outfits. I mean...this right now...is bloody cold. I don't understand how anyone to patrol in freezing cold in this. Its ridiculous, honestly." seeing that neither of them would be fighting, she didn't see why she couldn't relax as well.
Closing the space, she takes a seat next to him.
Crossing her legs, she eyes him for a moment "See now I know that a lie, General King Zinkenite been around for awhile, about as long as I have been a senshi. And I've been a senshi for awhile." leaning forward, she rest her elbows on her knees "But good try Buddy." she grins at him before looking away "Your not like the other officers are you? I've only met a few who are willing to actually talk to a senshi." it was nice honestly, not having to worry she was gonna get hurt for once.

”Impractical in the cooler seasons, but at least appealing to the eye,” Buddingtonite said with a wide grin, taking one last fleeting glance at her form before deeming it too rude to keep staring. Some didn’t mind catching someone’s wandering eye, but others did, and there was always the chance that she was a minor. With that body, it was a crime! “Come summer, our roles will be reversed and you shall have the last laugh, I’m sure. This heavy coat, while warm and very, very stylish, won’t treat me well during the sweltering days of summer…”
It was a good day when he could avoid a confrontation with the other side, Buddingtonite thought, as she came to sit next to him. He’d be polite and keep his hands to himself, though if she ever longed to snuggle, he’d pop open his coat and lend her as much heat as he could. After all, wouldn’t do him good if potential recruits killed over in the cold, right? At her disbelief, he gave a snicker, as he said, “Well, maybe it felt that way to me. I did do most of the talking- he just sort of stood there and then committed the deeds. To be honest I think he may have just wanted me out of his hair… common to those around me, I suppose. Some just can’t handle my voice…”
He looked her over, this time with a more critical eye. Not just at her appearance, but he tried to dig deeper, taking in what she said and processing them through the computer, so to speak. She had been a senshi for a long time? It was interesting to see some of the old school class still running around, though she didn’t seem to have a purpose or goal besides survive. And the fact that she was willing to sit next to a Negaverse officer and chat… meant that there was some opportunity here.
“I like talking. It’s just what I do best,” Buddingtonite said as a reminder. He leaned back in his seat and looked up at the night sky, thinking little of the twinkling dots in the sky as he ‘rambled’ on. “I’d feel like we’d learn a lot more from each other if we’d just sit down and talk over our differences than jumping straight to the fight. Imagine all of the things we could learn from one another if we’d just set down our weapons and open our mouths! For example, by talking to some senshi, I’ve learned that they’re not quite happy with their lot in life and seek a purpose… and sometimes, I like to give them a gentle push to finding that guidance elsewhere. Wouldn’t have learned that if I didn’t talk, right?”

Serpentarius did happen to catch his eyes wandering over her figure, which mad a small blush form across her cheek. With a small chuckle, she sticks her tongue at him before she leans back to relax once more "Thank you, honestly when I powered up, I was a little surprised. As a senshi, I was pretty much covered up for the most part. It makes me slightly worried what I will have on as a Eternal Senshi." she honestly hope she didn't reveal anymore skin then what was already showing.
She couldn't help but chuckle as she turns a little to face him, one knee resting on the slightly under her body in the process "I talked to General King Zinkenite once. He was the first to not attack me on your side, and gave me some much needed information I wanted to hear." she kept out the part where she was digging for information on what it would be like if she happen to ask them for help in switching side.
But that was for her to know...
His next comment, however made her nod slowly as she shrugs "It would seem we are on the same page, you and I. I honestly don't see the need to fight, but I will if I have no choice. I've seen to much, been hurt too many times. Honestly, I'm tired of it." the only reason she was still fighting now was to protect a man she loves at this point.
Pushing a few brown curls from her face, she turns her eyes back towards Buddy "So did you choose to join that side? I heard some choose, and some are forced." she wasn't digging for information, honestly. It was just interesting to hear why one joined in the war.

Buddingtonite didn’t miss that playful gesture and if anything his smile became more sincere. See, this was what he liked. Talking. None of this fighting, no exhausting himself or risk getting himself hurt, all over some silly war. If only he could have this kind of interaction from the rest of her court… one could dream!
“I can imagine you’ll look absolutely stunning for your Eternal upgrade… that’s something I’ve always admired about your kind was that whoever your cosmic tailor is, he or she always manages to outdo themselves on the next round up.” Buddingtonite could not stop himself from envisioning what the next step for her would be. His mind kept pondering how she’d look in more darker hues, but he was hesitant to bring it up, if only because he didn’t want to spoil the mood just yet. Some members of her side tended to get angry when the topic was brought up and he was having such a lovely time. “I’m glad the General-King was able to assist you, despite being on the other end. If he trusts you with information of any kind, then that’s enough for me.”
He forced himself to stop staring at her and looked up towards the sky, looking to have let his mind wander off but his attention remained purely on the senshi seated next to him. Her question made him ponder, and after a few seconds of silent musing, he let out a shrug of his own as he explained himself. “I did. I didn’t lie to you when I said I approached Zinkenite and asked to be recruited. I had made my decision after I was caught in the crossfires of the two fractions and decided to go with the Negaverse. A decision I don’t regret, for the most part. I’m sure others were forced, but sometimes you have to use force to make them see the truth.”

Serpentarius smiles to him, before she folds her arms under her chest. Leaning back against the bench, she gives a small "He was very helpful, gave me alot to think about." her smile turns to a frown at him mentioning about actually asking to join the war because he was caught in the middle. It reminded her once again how many innocent people were effected everything. He joined because he seen it happening before his eyes.
Something she wouldn't wish on anyone.
Shaking her head slowly, she looks away from him "This war is just getting worse, why can't either side just come to terms." they were all living on the planet, even if she was technically not from here. She was living here now "Before it ends, more will get hurt. I don't see the point in it honestly." she looks at Buddy "It would be so much easier if we all could sit and just talk." she knew that would never happen, but one could hope.
She just didn't want to think or the war at the moment, she was just enjoying the company of Buddy "So, what is it like being a general if you don't mind me asking?" she was curious, simply because she could actually ask.

"Well, being the head of the Intelligence branch, I can imagine he'd give you a lot to think about," Buddingtonite said with a smile. He wasn't given away valuable information that would put their court in too much danger and he was certain that Zinkenite would have told her the same thing. And he wasn't lying. When it came to gathering intel, Zinkenite was simply the best... why would he have been placed in charge of that branch if he wasn't perfect at his job? If he spoke with this one, then it was clear that he was meant to help guide her down the correct path.
In regards to her frustration, he considered his next words with care. He didn't want to say or do anything that would offend the senshi, but that the same time, he wasn't going to delude himself into thinking that both sides coming to terms with one another would be peaceful. "Unfortunately, that's how war is, and the warmongers don't care for the flowers or wheat they trample on their way to the battlefield. I'm sure that there may have been attempts to talk... but honestly, how well would you think they turned out? There's just too much bad blood between both factions, I'm afraid."
And he only knew a fraction of it, but he wouldn't admit to that.
"It's great. You're strong enough to where most members of the opposing team will leave you alone, and those that do try and start something are either on the same level as yourself, or are too stupid to realize what kind of trouble they're digging themselves into." Buddingtonite rather liked being a general, and that was something he didn't mind sharing. "I can teleport, control youma to do my bidding, order lower ranking officers around. Lots of job security, though... the prospects of promotion are cut considerably. Every job has its flaws, I suppose."
Then he decided it was time to return the favor. "How about you? What perks come with being a senshi?"

Serpentarius sat there for a moment thinking over what Buddy said to her, before she nods slowly "But what if your fighting someone that you actually know? Like your best friend, or even your wife?" she shakes her head before she sighs "Its just scary to think someone you may know could be apart of all of this, and you can't do anything but help them see reason...or fight them." she knew of the bad blood he spoke of, being apart of it this long already.
As he threw her own question back at her, she sucks her lip between her teeth for a moment. Her arms fold around herself to keep warm before she shrugs "Honestly I'm not sure. Beside the amazing power upgrade, it sounds like we senshi got the short end up the stick really. With us all so separated, no one really in charge. I mean, I love my powers, don't get me wrong. But it seems like there are alot of chiefs on this side, not alot of followers." to her, his job didn't sound that bad.
"Then I get this fuku, that is eye catching...if not revealing. So I guess that a great thing if your fighting a male who can't help but find you attractive. You can get the upper hand on them." she laughs before she reach out to actually poke him in the shoulder "So we better never fight, I have a feeling you will be too busy staring." she teased him, actually enjoying her chat.

He considered her what if scenario, mulling over the topic for a moment and actually giving it more than and concern than he let on. He chuckled softly, placing a hand to his chin as he said, "Wife? Never going to happen I'm afraid. Husband, neither. But I see your point. I can imagine it'd be hard, but if you know you're in the right, then maybe you need to bloody their nose a bit. Sometimes, giving them a black eye can actually help them see better, as strange as that may sound."
If his brother ever got involved in this war, AND was on the opposing side? Oh, heaven help Destiny City if that catastrophe ever happened.
He leaned back in his seat again, listening to her talk and rather liking the insight he was getting on what it was like to be a senshi on the other side. The idea of not having a leader or any kind of structure was both liberating, but also quite terrifying. How the hell did anyone get anything done if there wasn't someone cracking the whip? "Has anyone tried uniting you senshi, or was there an attempt made and simply thwarted? Don't you have at least ONE princess?"
He knew they did, he simply wondered why they didn't flock to her for leadership. Otherwise, what was the point? What was the benefit? What separated an Eternal from a Princess outside of having a beautiful, flowing dress? Seemed silly. Just as her notion that he would be too distracted, and his grin deepened ever so slightly as he scoffed. "Hm, I don't know... I'm good at multitasking when I want to be. Though, better not risk it... I heard snakes are mesmerizing, so I best be careful."
Then, he tilted his head, and he asked, "If you're not happy with your court, why stay? If you seek leadership, then why deny yourself that? What's keeping you tethered to a writhing court?"Pixie Krysta Ordreg I'm sorry to hear that! Don't worry, we can move at whatever pace you like! <3

Serpentarius thought over what he had to say as far as giving them bloody noses. Lucky for her, her cousin was on the same side as her. The other two as far as she knew weren't apart of this war. This other question, she nods slowly. She remembered Kallichore mentioning to her about two princesses, but she didn't actually give names "Yea we have one on this side, but I just...I don't know. I only really followed one person." she didn't say Ares name, as she didn't want to reveal her former court.
She couldn't help but laugh at his comment about being on guard "Trust me when I say this. I only bite when I feel threaten. So you, my friend..will not have to worry one bit. I don't see you as a threat, even if you are on the other side. Charming, maybe even a tad sweet. Those words I would say are you, and a flirt." and she spoke the truth. She found a few on that side that she counted as friends.
And Buddy was working towards that...
She last question, she knew the answer. She just didn't want to speak it out loud. Instead she just closed her eyes as she sighs. Looking up at the sky for a brief moment, she lifts her hand to wear a cross would be sitting had she been Mel "I made a promise, to someone I love very much. Only problem is...I fear I may end up breaking that promise to them." she turns her eyes back towards him, giving him a sad smile.

Buddingtonite gave an understanding nod, hearing the confirmation of royal but not getting his or her name. He met one twice before and neither one could have been classified as good memories for him. He tried not to think about it, especially that second time. He wondered if this was the same royal she was speaking of, though he knew her not to be the one this one followed.
Interesting.
He kept his pleasant appearance as she called him charming and a flirt. She wasn't incorrect in her assessment, though, and he would have liked to have done more with this one besides flirt, but he had a feeling that it wouldn't be happening tonight. One could dream, he told himself, and he added, with a soft chuckle. "Then remind me never to threaten you. Should be an easy rule to remember..."
He would have been lying if he said he wasn't at all interested in why she stayed with the White Moon Court, so he listened intently to what she had to say. He was curious if the two of them were on the same boat... but when she gave her answer, it was very clear that they held two different motivations. Still, that didn't mean he should be without compassion to her. "Sometimes... you have to do what's best for you, and not what's best for everyone else. Admittedly, from what I've gathered, the higher ups in the Negaverse don't share that sentiment, but perhaps the Dark Mirror Court would understand that. It won't be easy, but... if it's what's best, then why not? Why allow yourself to be shackled? If no one looks out for you, then shouldn't you at least look after yourself?"

Serpentarius nods slowly as she listens to what Buddy had to say. He was right in everything he said to her, and she knew it. Closing her eyes, she chews on her bottom lip "Your right, I have to look out for myself. I've known it for awhile now, I just..." she didn't know why she was so worried about taking the next step. She knew who to go to, and what needed to be done.
Relaxing, she lifts her arms above her head as she stretched for a brief second. Pushing her curls from her face, she looks Buddy over for a moment "So...can I ask you something without you thinking I'm trying to urge you to join this side?" she wasn't at all.
"If you had a chance to jump...would you..I mean..leave the Negaverse?" she shivers for a brief second as the cool breeze brushed her skin, but ignores it as she keeps her attention on Buddy. She was enjoying the chance to get to talk and learn what she can about him.ChibiGingi Buddy your not allowed to think about anything when it comes to Serpe...she almost taken. >.> -drops her into Buddy's lap just for the fun and died in the process- Buddy needs a harem...
