******** was there. Otto walked through one of the common rooms, accidentally making eye contact with a certain, trash talking b***h. She'd said things that hurt his feelings. Not that it was new to him. Rep did all the time. Even Taym unknowingly called him ugly, not knowing who he was while a kitten. And Maebe? She just added to the growing resentment he had for hunters as a whole. How was he supposed to make friends when most of them were like this? Once Nevada died, which was probably inevitable, he'd be all alone again. No more friends to lean on. Just bullies and bitches. Otto sneered at the woman, walking away briskly. Hopefully she was too busy to bother him.

Maebe ALWAYS had time for her favorite little target! As soon as her eyes met his, she saw his expression fall. Hers lit up, in perfect opposition. A brilliant smile, a blissful glint in her slit eyes. He started to walk away, and she uncurled herself from the lounge chair she'd been shirking her responsibilities in, and much like a cat, padded predatorily towards him. She was right behind him, her footsteps mirroring his. So quick and desperate to get away. "Otti bitti baby, where you going in such a hurry?" She purred, shadowing his every move. "You didn't even say hi to me."

Well, at least he'd said hi. That was a start.
She stopped following him, standing where she'd ended up, and waved an invisible handkerchief mournfully as he walked away.
"Goodbye my love." She sniffed out. "I'll miss you."

Otto turned, slowing down only because he was sure he was safe from pursuit now. "Your nose is growing, you ugly b***h." He growled back at her.

Maebe put her hand in front of her face, and carefully felt her nose. This lasted a few seconds too long, but it was distracting enough to keep it from being obvious that she was walking closer ever so slowly. When her hand dropped back to her side, the innocent, worried face that she'd masked her expression with slowly faded back down into something cruel, sinister, and hungry. She was in front of him now, a sudden proximity that led to her leaning against him. Her face turned up - a first, she realized.
"Hmm." The sound left her in a warm breath. "What would you say if I wasn't lying?" Her eyes raked up from the hollow of his throat, all the way up to meet his eyes. "Maybe I missed you. You are a lot of fun, you know."
She smiled, but her lips remained closed. "You've grown."

Hah. There. A taste of her own medicine. How did it feel to be ridiculed for your body? A thing you could never change? Otto huffed snd turned, his head hung low as he fiddled with his phone. However, she'd taken that chance, and with a startled expression he realized she was right in front of him.
She was here to play her games again.
His own body leaned away as she leaned in, physically recoiling from the venomous woman. Staring down at her was new. One small plus in a life of downs. "I'd call bullshit." He replied bluntly. Maebe always lied. He was nothing but a silly little toy to her. She'd said so herself, in not so many words. A little boy and nothing more.
"I have." His tone dripped with sass, a sneer forming on his features once more. "What of it?"

He always sounded so angry. So passionate.
"I like it." Her answer came curt, and sharp. "I could look up at you all day."

Otto's face contorted with irritation, his lip curling at her stupid empty words. "Too bad for you, then. All yer gettin' is my back as I walk away." She was just bored. She'd go away when she had her fill. He knew well enough she didn't like him. Or want him. And he for one did not desire the company of someone so fake, so cruel, so shallow.
"Move it." Or he'd move her himself.

The only thing that moved was her growing smile.

As soon as his hands were on her, she was in motion. Her arm wrapped around the one that shoved her, whipping him back around until he was pressed against the wall. She didn't push, just led him to it, and once he was there she let him go.
"Otto." Her smile was gone. "Hasn't anyone ever told you not to push a lady? Where are your manners?"

Otto was taken aback. He hadn't expected to be up against the wall here. It was unnerving. Her fake smile was gone. She was almost intimidating. Almost.
"They're up my a**." He snapped back at her.

Maebe's hand slid gently, right down his back, and cupped his a**.
"I could get them for you."

Don't react. She likes it when you react. Sadly... Not reacting was not his forte. It was evident in his face that her obvious sexual harassment bothered him, his face flushing despite himself.
His mouth opened, hoping for a sassy retort to form in words.
Nothing happened.
He just looked confused.
