((This is for rp between Jack Frost and anyone that wants to interact with him. Please do not quote me for a response, though. I don't have quote notifications turned on as they annoy me.))  Jack Frost grins to himself as he dashes around placing frost on every surface he could. Pockettu sized piles of snow lay everywhere, the trees were covered with tendrils of frost and clumps of snow, and a pond was frozen over, perfect for ice skating on. The winter spirit was having the time of his life, decorating the area in the season of cold, leaping and flying everywhere.

 Leilani crept with extra care through the snow. Each time she set a hoof down, she watched it sink into the snow. It wasn't until she felt the ground firmly under that particular hoof that she lifted another and took another step. She saw Jack darting around, and she was carefully making her way towards him. "Hello?"

Jack seems to freeze in his tracks, looking around curiously for the one who had spoken nearby. Finally spotting Leilani, Jack's head tilts to the side slightly as he leans against his staff, curiosity and confusion plain on his face. He'd never seen a centaur before, so he wasn't sure what to make of the other. "Hi." He says, giving a small smile to the other as she made her way towards him.

Leilani paused in her careful tip hoofing through the snow so she could peer at Jack curiously. She had seen him flying about, and her eyes flickered over him for some sign of wings she had not yet perceived. It was pretty clear to her, now that he wasn't darting about, that he had no wings. She wondered if it was perhaps rude to ask him about his flying or not. Instead she flicked one of her ears and pointed towards a branch that was currently covered in pristine white frost webbing. "You did that? Are you a demigod?"

Jack had been expecting some form of question for all the ice and snow around, but being asked if he was a Demi God was not something he'd been expecting. He puts one hand to the back of his head, running his fingers through his hair for a moment before he chuckles and shakes his head. "Ah... No. No, I'm not a Demi-God. I'm a spirit of Winter. It's just something I've been able to do for a very looong time. I'm Jack Frost, if that name helps any? Other names I'm known as are Father Frost, Old Man Winter, and Jokul Frosti."

Lei waited for Jack to deliver his answer. He seemed almost embarrassed. Almost though, as his face didn't show any signs of humiliation. Perhaps she was just mistaking the gesture of running his fingers through his hair as something else. As he explained he was a elemental spirit, and gave her a list of alternate names, Lei found herself tilting her head to look Jack up and down. "You do not look very old to me. How did you gain that name?" Lei paused then, and added as it occured to her that simply questioning the other boy without a introduction was perhaps rude. "I am called Leilani."

Jack tilts his head a bit, thinking. "I believe the reason I don't look... well... very old... Is because, according to what I've been told, I died at a young age. I don't remember any of it, honestly. I just remember waking up in a frozen lake and being told my name by the moon." He gives a small smile, then slowly walks forward and offers Leilani his hand. "Nice to meet you, Leilani. So, what brings you over here, anyway?" He asks, curiosity getting the better of him.

"The...the moon?" Lei was not certain if she heard Jack correctly. He talked to the moon? Lei's eyes instantly looked to the sky, though of course there was no moon in sight now. When her head tilted back down, she saw Jack offering his hand to her. She leaned forwards to take the offered hand so she could shake it with a light grip. "It is nice to meet you as well Jack. To be honest, I was looking for a good place to sit and watch the sun set later. I enjoy watching the colors as they are displayed both in the sky and over the ground. I try to paint it later, though I'm not very good." She admitted. "What is it that you were doing exactly?"

He nods at her response about the moon, then glances around at the snow and ice around him for a moment, taking it in before he gives a small motion with one hand towards a small hill nearby, so far a place that he hadn't covered with snow or ice. "That might offer the best view there, I haven't gone to frost it over or anything yet, and I'll not touch it if you'd rather sit up there to watch the sky. Come on, I'm sure you're much better at painting than you give yourself credit for. And, well, as a spirit of winter, I feel more comfortable in the ice and snow, so, since I live here, I try to keep it cold and frozen over to have fun in." He gives another small grin, making a tiny snowflake seem to form out of thin air above his fingers and sends it floating a short distance away to land on the ground.

Lei's eyes moved up to the top of the hill that Jack drew her attention to. Her small tail gave a little flick as she considered it's positioning. She placed a finger against her lips and pursed them before she murmured softly. "I bet the setting suns light would reflect nicely off your frost though. It could set the landscape alight in a sea of color." She glanced curiously at Jack then. "Can you do something that big though? Or is it too much for your power?"

Jack blinks a moment, eyeing the hill in question again, then glances back at Lei with a grin. "It shouldn't be too hard. I mean, I did all this currently around us, and it's a larger space than the hill is. Do you want me to freeze up the hill too then?"

To be honest, Lei felt delighted. Her little blue hooves pranced in place for a heartbeats worth of time. "I would be appreciative if you would coat the entire hill. It would look disharmonious otherwise."

Jack gives a small nod at that. "Alright, I'll do it. Could you just wait right here though? I don't want to accidentally freeze your hooves to the ground as well or anything like that. I'll be quick as a bunny." So saying, he takes off, racing around and swinging his staff, touching the hill here and there, causing patches of frost and snow to blossom around as he went, even going so far as to make thin, delicate tendrils of frost creep and curl up around the trunks of the trees before he hurried back down to where he'd started, pausing to glance at the hill once more, thumb and forefinger on his chin in thought before he gives a small nod and looks back at Lei. "That look alright to you?"
