Why did he even want to come out today? He left his brother at home doing god knows what and he promises him he would be back at a reasonable time after he found them some food. The only time he was away from him was if he was out foraging for some berries or something close to that. He was starving and he knew his brother was because he kept mentioning how hungry he was over a million times it felt like. So he took the high road and decided the best course of action was to actually go out there and get some food. He needed enough for the both of them which would probably be the hardest part. He didn't want to run into anyone or have any kind of distraction to keep him off his goal here. Damn brother always wanting something and then their mission gets pushed back by a couple of hours. He hated that.
To his dismay, he spotted a very large berry bush a few inches away from him and smirked. His day was looking up a little bit so far and maybe this meant good things in the future. He walked over slowly and began picking off branches not even knowing how he was going to carry all of this back to his believed den with his brother. He didn't have a pouch or anything he could shove the crap into so it was going to be a prickly mouthful. Oh joy. He grimaced at the thought as he bunched them up in a pile using his talons making sure they were neat enough to where he could just be able to pick them up. He knew it was going to be a pretty big bushel and a part of him wondered if his brother would praise him for this or just..not care. Either way, he wanted some kind of praise for doing this when he was busy at home relaxing. Damn brother of his.
He was so focused on the task at hand that he didn't even bother to pay attention to anything around him.
