After discussion with Cele we are able to offer you the opportunity to bring to Dragonbraved whers and dragons you had in Sands. In order to do so however you must fulfil the stated criteria and follow the rules below:

- To be eligible for transfer the character that a creature is attached to must have been in at least three complete RPs in Sands of Pern. PRPs of more than two pages count and in ORPs or meta RPs they must have made at least 15 posts within that thread in order for it to count. ‘Dead’ RPs which are more than two pages long may be counted so long as you were not the one to leave it hanging.

- To get this out of the way: Gold dragons. Can you transfer them? The short answer is yes! The long answer is yes, but unless you either change the gold into a smaller colour (bronze down) or enter and win the Jr. Gold contest you will have to wait for now. While we want to accommodate everyone's transfers from Sands Dragonbraved is it's own place first and foremost; we want to give everyone an equal chance to get such a rare and often coveted character type, so the junior golds initially on offer cannot be given away as transfers. We are perfectly happy for you to bring your character over as a gold (if they fulfil transfer requirements, as with any other transfer) but it might take some time and discussion with us to work out where and how they fit, so please be patient!

- As for gold whers, you can bring a them across if the pair meet transfer requirements! You may need to adjust your characters slightly however as all gold handlers in Dragonbraved must be masterhandlers. If you need help on working on this feel free to contact staff.

- You may ‘trade down’ the size and rarity scale with other transfers too if you want i.e. you can make a bronze into any chromatic colour, a brown into a blue or green, or a blue into a green. Personalities must remain the same!

- The design of your dragon/wher should not change if they are remaining the same colour, but if you are moving them down the size scale you can change their design if you wish.

- Everyone must submit a full character application with their history adjusted to fit in with Dragonbraved canon and agree to make any alterations the staff feel are required. Please be aware that in this setting it is not possible to be a practicing crafter and a serving rider at the same time and a character being approved at Sands as they are does not necessarily mean they will be okay right off at Dragonbraved.

- All transfers must be adults. Whers may be any age above eighteen months, dragons must fit in with the timing of one of the clutches presented in the clutch master list if they are native to High Reaches. If they are a transfer they may be any age above two turns.

- Transferring creatures must remain with the person they were bonded to in Sands. However, you may alter the human character’s gender, sex or sexuality so long as it does not alter their personality. You can change your human character’s appearance if you would like to.

- Rank of any kind does not transfer.

- Firelizards of any colour may transfer but please remember that firelizards are rare and extremely expensive in our setting. A small firelizard egg costs as much as a normal adult makes in an entire turn, and wild clutches are not found around High Reches. Having one firelizard therefore is a luxury and having more than one is extremely uncommon. Having more than two is rarer still and usually seen either as a crass display of wealth, weird animal hoarding, or both. Gold firelizard eggs are quite plainly gold, unmistakable for anything else, and one of those will cost you at least three times what an average person makes in a turn. If you wish to transfer a firelizard with a character you must be able to explain where they got it and this is doubly true if you want to bring multiple flitts or a gold flitt over with somebody who doesn’t have the wealth to splash on indulgences! Riders have more money to spare than most so for somebody who has been a rider for a few turns to have a flitt is more common especially if they’re in the better paid higher wings but owing a gold or multiple flitts is still rare, and saving for a flitt is still a pretty major undertaking. This isn’t us trying to be mean or penalize anyone, it’s simply shop canon that firelizards are very rare and very costly. Please please do consider logic here, bringing multiple firelizards will not make your character cool and special, please only do so if it makes sense for the character within this setting. If you are transferring a firelizard you must link to their cert.
