There's a special event for the teenagers who have decided to attend the party!
A small area with just smooth hardwood was set down, shaped in a circle. In the middle, was a bottle. Spin the bottle, round and round, where it stops, nobody knows...
But when it does stop?
The person it lands on better be ready to answer some truths! Or, perhaps, fulfill some dares?
Posted: Fri Feb 14, 2014 5:05 pm
For the first day, there will be a sign-ups open! This is so we have a full list of who wants to play. To sign up your teen, just post the below code:
[size=15][color=red][b]I'D LIKE TO PLAY[/b][/color][/size] [b]Username:[/b] [b]Pae'il Name:[/b]
When the sign-ups end, one of the staff will generate the first number. This will be the first person who gets to go. This teen will get to set a truth and a dare. After a truth and a dare are set, the teen spins the bottle (generates a random number). This can be done in the same post as the above step. This determines which teen has to answer a truth or perform a dare. That teen will get to choose which they prefer. Once the teen has finished their truth or dare, they can set their own truth and dare, and spin the bottle again. For each successful truth performed, the player gains 5 points. For each successful dare, the player gains 7 points. (This is because a dare may require extra posting effort.) Do not delete your posts. We can see if you do in the logs. Since there is a lot of rolling in this event, a post deletion will be assumed as cheating, which will disqualify the player entirely from any prizes. Do not do this!

Venus noticed a lot of her teenaged guests didn't have all that much to do. After all, they couldn't participate in the fun her sons and daughters (and even her granddaughter) were causing! That was just no good, so she decided she needed to fix that.
She fluttered over to a small area, her voice booming into the crowd.
"Here ye, here ye! All adolescent attendees, we have created a small game of truth or dare I think you will all enjoy!" The goddess giggled at her own cleverness. This was a game she knew the adolescent mortals tended to love. It was full of drama and intrigue and sometimes even some titillating secrets!
How exciting for them!
"Just come over here and sign up! I'll close up the sign-ups in about an hour or so~"
With that, she flittered off, leaving a small sign-up sheet in the area where she was.
((OOC: This translates to 02/15/2014 @ 8:00pm EST! Sign ups will remain open if any teens want to dynamically join, but the game will start at this point.))

"Great!" said Venus, when she fluttered back over. "looks like we have enough to start now~"
When the teenagers came back over, she set the bottle down in the middle of them, looking at the five. Noting the five of them, she placed the sign-up sheet back in obvious sight, in case any of the other teenagers wandering around the party decided they wanted to join up, too.
She held the bottle in her hands, before spinning it around. Where it stopped, nobody knew!
It landed on the strange adolescent with an eel tail. Oh! "It looks like you're first, Nashe! Have fun!"
And with that, Venus fluttered off.

O-oh Guardians ... her first?
W-why?
Nashe was hoping that she could just sit and watch for a few rounds. Why did it have to generate her first? She didn't want to go first! She didn't even know what to ask people or what to dare people. She was no good at this and they were probably going to laugh at her. Were they laughing at her now? She was almost positive they were, really. Nashe glanced around at the four other teenagers sitting there, nearly scared out of her wits.
There was a small, quiet, "Eep," from her lips.
What would she do? She didn't know what was considered a good truth question or a good dare. What if she did it wrong? What if the others got mad at her? What if they didn't accept her? How would she manage then?!
"Uh..."
Nashe grabbed a piece of paper and wrote down her idea for a truth and her idea for a dare, before reaching for the bottle and spinning it around. She held tightly onto the piece of paper she wrote down, keeping it close to her chest, almost afraid to let anyone else see it.
Truth: What are you afraid of? Dare: Make a hat out of utensils
The bottle landed on Chal.

Chal had arrived to the party slightly late. It had taken him a while to notice that both of his brothers had gone missing, and it took a little bit longer to deduce what would have made them both disappear.
First thing he had overheard when he arrived was the announcement for the teen game. Well that was an easy way to confirm whether his brothers were really here or not. As soon as he saw his brother, Hemi, he raised his eyebrows at him and waved. Mom and Dad were going to be so pissed... although... technically he was in trouble now too. No sign of Malek though... Chal had to wonder what his quieter brother was thinking sometimes.
Chal was hardly paying attention when the bottle landed on him? "Oh?" How to start this thing off... "Uhm... truth?" sure that was a safe place to start, maybe some icebreakers and then the crazy stuff... Chal really didn't want the crazy stuff.
What are you afraid of?
"Disappointing my parents..." That was an easy one, probably too easy, but it was the truth... Chal generally tried to be the good child, but it left a higher sort of expectation on him... one he was currently damaging by running off to follow his brothers.
Chal followed the girl who went first's lead and wrote down his ideas on a piece of paper.
Truth: Have you got a secret talent? Dare: Have a conversation with a chair
His ideas seemed mild to him, but it was his first time playing. Chal spun the bottle.

Her again?
Nashe fidgeted. Why did it have to land on her again? She didn't want the bottle to be attracted to her! She wanted the bottle to be attracted to other pae. They knew what they were doing more than her, right? She definitely didn't know what she was doing in this game.
The sprite awkwardly wrung her hands, the wings on her back fluttering as she attempted to figure out just what she could pick. What should she choose? What would be a good choice for her? Did she really want to do anything daring? Dares were frightening. Then again, the truth was also frightening. Nashe didn't really like the sound of either of them...
What if she said something and they all mocked her, or they all shunned her like she was sometimes shunned for being of water?
"Truth!" Nashe blurted, just picking a random one.
Have you got a secret talent?
Nashe made a small frown. "No..." Her tail curled up behind her, her wings stilling. "I'm not very good at anything..."
She also wasn't very good at figuring out questions and dares...
Truth: Do you like anyone? Dare: Draw something on the wall
When she spun the bottle, it landed on Alma, this time. Hopefully it didn't land on her again..

Alma was on the edge of her seat from the moment the bottle spun. With wings flapping, she was unable to truly sit still. Only, the bottle didn't land on her the first time. That was disappointing. When it didn't land on her the second time, her wings started to slow. That was, until it landed on her.
With a cheer she hoped up and said boldly, "Dare!" Grinning she wondered what was in store for her. Draw something on the wall
For a moment she regretted her choice. If she drew something on the wall, Tora-momma would be very unhappy with her. She'd gotten in trouble for that one time or two in her younger seasons. Still, no backing down.
Taking a deep breath, the red head pulled out the rebellion pants. Taking up the pen from the sign ups that Venus so nicely left behind, she took off. Flying up half way up the wall, she drew a large heart with 'Venus loves Adonis' written in the middle. The heart was bumpy in places and her hand writing abysmal as she tried to make it fancy script. There would be no points for artistry.
Still, she'd down it. Returning to the table she followed the examples before her and wrote on the piece of paper
Truth: What is the worst thing you have gotten away with Dare: Walk up and hug Adonis without saying a word
Giggling she took the bottle and spun it eager to see who would be next. Seemed the bottle loved Nashe.

Nashe watched, wide-eyed, as the other girl fulfilled her dare. She was actually drawing on the wall! That was a bad thing to do, right? Nashe knew it was bad...
It must've been a good dare, right? That was how the game worked!
Besides, "Venus <3's Adonis" was a fitting thing for the occasion! They did love each other! Nashe glanced back to Venus' throne, where Venus was sitting and Adonis was continuing to flex and throw odd faces at people. Why was he doing that--
Why was the bottle on her again?!
Nashe made a distressed squeak when the bottle stopped on her again. Why was this happening? Why did she sign up? She didn't want to keep doing this! The sprite began to feel some level of stage fright at being thrown to the center of attention again, curling within herself. Why did it keep selecting her? She didn't want to answer any questions, or do any dares, she just wanted to watch...
Awkwardly fidgeting, the eel quickly selected, "Truth," again, not wanting to do anything crazy like a Dare. The truths were bad enough!
What is the worst thing you have gotten away with?
Oh, that was easy...
Nashe made a small sigh, "The worst thing I've gotten away with," her answer was stuttered and shaky, "is being a fish..."
Truth: Do you know how to swim? Dare: Make mean faces at Venus
It looked like the bottle was back on Chal again...

Wow, drawing on the walls? That was some pretty bad stuff. This wasn't even their home... surely the girl was going to get in trouble for that right? Chal was paying attention to how the girls were doing their truths and dares, in case it became his turn again.
He was amused the bottle kept going back to the one girl, but he really wasn't expecting it to come back to him so soon. "I guess I'll go with dare this time..." he said with a thrilling rush of adrenaline going through his body with the decision...
Make mean faces at Venus
That seemed... rude... but he had to do it, that was how the game was played. "Uhm... who is Venus?" He had just arrived at the party afterall. Once he was pointed in her direction he looked mildly from side-to-side before leaving their little circle and running up to where Venus sat at her throne. He stuck out and wiggled his tongue and put his hands on both side of his face and wiggled his fingers. He did it for about 5 seconds before he darted and slid back into his spot with the group. Hopefully he did it so fast she didn't even notice...
Chal his his face from Venus' general direction as he wrote down his next set.
Truth: Where do you live? Dare: Dunk your head in one of the drink bowls.
Chal felt a little bit better about these ones and spun the bottle.
Aw, it was his brother, Hemi, that made it less fun.
