An area of snowy sand has been sectioned off for the high-intensity events. The eating contest, snowball fight, and battle of the ballads will all take place here.

A boom box. Cue cards. An enthusiastic MC. The Quadrant's Day Battle of the Ballads is making for an unforgettable night of love songs, hate songs, and everything in between - all related to those four quadrants we have so many emotions about. The stage manager drone reminds you of the rules, speaking into the mic on stage. The first to sing the verse of the selected Quadrant's Day ballad that will be displayed on screen will win that round. House rules for brawling apply -- try to avoid excessive bloodshed in an attempt to not repeat the legendary Karaoke Brawl many sweeps ago. The quickest to the draw of singing loud and proud about Quadrant's Day takes the Ballad crown!
OOC Rules:
Each round, a line of lyrics for a Quadrant's Day Ballad will be posted in the event thread. Your goal is to be the first troll to reply to that post, quoting the lyric word for word. There's no code to post, since speed is the name of this game.
Players can also attempt to "distract" the troll who posted just before them (in any way they like) by rolling a D6. If the number is even, if anyone posted before you, they are considered to have posted after you. On an odd number, there is no effect. This only applies to the person who posted directly before you, not to multiple posters.
Her chewing becomes slower. There are no other competitors. The table's banquet stares at her in sumptuous, intimidating glory. Intimidating because there are live beetles at one end of the table snapping around.
Alifax always came prepared to eat as much free food as possible...but it looked like the sweet baked good he reached for first was far too rich for a troll who dieted on unseasoned meat and raw greens.
If the food was poisoned, how was she surviving? Did they have signs around? Was there some sort of secret body language that she had never learned? Mili stabbed into a peice of meat and chewed thoughtfully.
