Name: Dublin Bard
Nickname: you can call her Dubstep Dublin but she won't be impressed with you
Age: 19
Birthday: October 24th
Sign: Scorpio
Gemstone: Topaz
Blood Type: B+
Fav. Food: Ramen, it's cheap, and tasty. You can't go wrong with ramen.
Hated Food: Pure chocolate, anything too sweet is entirely off-putting to her.
School: Does not attend school. Has a part time job at a gas station, and helps her sister with street performances for some side cash.
Hobbies:
Music - Both of her parents were musicians, and despite not feeling any affection towards them, Dublin has picked up on the art herself. Her attention is mostly devoted to an old acoustic guitar, and on days when she's not working she'll be playing on the street to earn some more money. It's a nice side effect to doing something she genuinely enjoys. She's also rather good at rhythm and keeping tempo, and can play the drums rather adequately.
Reading - Dublin spends a lot of her spare time reading, anything from magazines to trilogies. She doesn't have any gaming devices to keep her mind preoccupied, so instead she likes to dive into stories such a fantasy just to draw her mind away from reality for a few hours. The only person who seems to have caught on to her favorite genre is London, and that's mostly because they spend so much time together it's hard not to notice the kind of books Dublin's nose is constantly buried into. She doesn't actually purchase any books, so oftentimes can be found in the library, or seen taking a bunch of books from it.
Virtues:
Frugal -- With money being so tight between herself and her sister, Dublin has taken nearly complete responsibility over managing their finances. She's a bargain shopper, and rarely spends money on luxuries that they definitely do not need. Dublin knows where all the best deals are, and when something tempting is out of their price range. She may not be the best at making money, but she's excellent at keeping it.
Independent -- Having been on her own since she was 16, Dublin was already gifted with a strong independent streak. She's confident and capable of doing things on her own. She's not afraid of having to do something by herself, and is confident that there is no problem she can't solve. Dublin simply doesn't need anyone else to be able to support herself, and would be just fine if she was living all by herself and with no one to fall back on.
Passionate -- There are a few things that Dublin is startlingly passionate about, and is the best way to break the ice with a young woman who would normally turn away from idle chit chat. When Dublin loves something, she becomes completely invested in it. She is passionate about her sister London, living alone with her, and would do anything to protect her and keep her safe. She is likewise passionate about music, and anyone who even drops a hint of a favorite band that she likes too is guaranteed to earn a small smile. She could talk about the things she loves for hours, and can even let her guard down from time to time when she gets wrapped up in her own passion.
Flaws:
Distrusting -- Having a rough time growing up with parents who were never meant to be parents, and leaving them as soon as she possibly could, has left Dublin with a nearly crippling distrust of new people. She has faith and trust in her sister, but beyond that her trust is something that is hard won. She's not unfriendly, but she keeps people at a notable distance. At times it keeps Dublin from expressing her feelings, and oftentimes she keeps things bottled up until they simply explode.
Party Pooper -- It is easy to consider Dublin to be boring. She's not the type of girl who goes out and parties at night, mostly because she's not going to waste money by barhopping or going out to a club. Dublin is a rather serious young woman, with a reserved personality that most people would not immediately be attracted to. It doesn't bother her in the least bit, but it does hinder her ability to make friends and even enjoy herself outside of playing music.
Passive Aggressive -- If something's been done to irritate the young woman, the one thing she will not do is tell you exactly how you've wronged her. She rarely comes out to say what's on her mind, and rather will nitpick and complain about something entirely unrelated as to what is bothering her. Dublin is not the person who is going to tell you like it is, and it can lead to a frustrating game of figuring out what exactly is wrong with her. She can be downright snarky on a good day, though she is rarely outright aggressive. Unlike her sister, she doesn't get into many unintended scraps or fights, instead opting out for bitching about the person in question to someone else, instead of taking it up with them.
