Personality: Nine is curious and outgoing, but he's clumsy much of the time. He always fixates on one thing at a time, and rarely has the mental capability to see whats going on around him. That said he is, avidly, not a multitasker. While he's outgoing he's not "in your face" -- he's eager to talk to a stranger or a friend, but he's generally mellow about it. Furthermore, no matter how outgoing he is he's incredibly awkward about it. Still he's passionate about what he does, and always eager to lend a helping hoof.
Description: As a
New Stallion Nine was very lanky and awkward, and his clumsiness only added to that appearance, but now he's spent enough time working outdoors that he's built up a bit of tone. He's not buff by any means, but he managed to average himself out.
His coat is a roan blue, and his hair is a darker "rain cloud gray". His eyes are oddly a rose pink. He has a knick in his left ear, and can be seen with various states of bandages on his face and upper arms. On occasion elsewhere. Its difficult to tell which ones are from unhappy customers or his own obliviousness.
Background: Originally he was named "nine lives" because every since the day he was born he had a knack for getting himself injured. However, nothing ever serious... So they joked that the little foal had "nine lives" and it stuck.
As Nine got older, fumbling awkwardly around the city, he found his first stray kitten. Naturally the young colt took it home and begged his mother and father to let him keep it. The task proved more difficult than most Colt's could have handled, but Nine never gave up, he did every grueling and unfun task presented to him. He'd been so busy focused on the ill kitten that he hadn't even realized his cutie mark had appeared!
As an adult Nine furthered that cause and started up a shelter of his own right in Canterlot. He took in as many strays as he could, and rehabilitated them. He gave them everything they could possibly need to find loving homes. Though not all get adopted, the ones that don't live in his own apartment, a 3 bedroom he has all to himself... and his cats. Though he prefers not to talk about that side of the business.
In addition to the shelter, he's also your go-to-pony for any kitty in need, he'll be happy to lend a wing and a hoof to save any feline friend!
CutieMark:A 9 with cat ears and a tail on it. The back of the 9 resembles an L and the tail resembles an S. But who knows how much is just coincidence?
Special Talent: Nine Lives has a knack for kitties! Tracking and spotting stray cats, he can catch them-- or rescue them, whether it be from trees, alleyways, rivers and just about anywhere in Equestria! He gets scratches or bites here and there, but in the end he always wins over the felines favor.
Likes: Cats. Soft-spoken ponies, stargazing, peaceful and quiet moments.
Dislikes: Loud abrupt sounds, dogs that jump up/on, concerts, really bright sunny days(not the sun itself, just the brightness).
