Chetan slowly walked to where Uzulu said he had left Ugitsiha earlier after having a talk with her. he tried to keep his breathing normal but his heart was racing and he felt like breathing as if he was out of breath from running. having told Uzulu to stay behind, he was going to do this all on his own and not have Uzulu try to talk for him. as he approached, he was glad to see Ugitsiha still there as he had worried that she would of ran off as Uzulu had gone to get him. in taking a deep breath, he walked up by her and sat near her. " hey......" hey? was that really how he was going to start this conversation? uggg he felt stupid but well at lest he managed to say something to start things. with how nervous he was, he was shocked he managed to say anything as he sat near her.
Ugitsiha almost was about to get up to leave but then she heard Chetan walking up then sit down next to her. her own heart was racing as she sat with him and it went even faster when he finally did speak. she was glad though he didn't just pour his heart out right away as it gave her time to calm herself for what was to come. thanks to Uzulu she was in a panic and didn't know how to handle any of this at all. " hey Chetan." smiling, she did get plenty of time to think about everything before he came. but she still was unsure how she was going to respond to Chetan as she had yet to hear what he had to say.
Chetan took in a deep breath before he spoke again and this time he wasn't just going to say 'hey'. " Ugitsiha i know Uzulu told you somethings and that you guys talked." clearing his throat, he looked down at his paws as he spoke which was unusual for him as he liked to look the other in the eyes when talking. "i just wanted to tell you myself that i do really like you. even though we only known each other a few weeks, some how i just know i like you.....more than a friend." oh how he wanted to dig a hole and hide in it right now. he did not want to look at her reaction but he forced himself to move his head from looking at the ground to looking over at her.
Ugitsiha could tell as she watched him that it was hard for him to admit his feelings. with how he was acting it seemed to her that he was as nervous about it all and didn't know what to do just like her. a smile came across her face and she couldn't help but lean on him while giving a sigh of relief. " you know Chetan having you admit your feelings, makes this so much easier." for whatever reason she knew then that she could admit her feelings freely now that she knew a hundred percent that he liked her more than a friend. " i like you more than a friend too Chetan." now that it was all said, she felt relief and was actually kind of glad she had done it.
Chetan had been all tensed up and ready to feel and never see her again if she didn't return his feelings. he hated making a fool of himself and so he did not want to face rejection which was one reason he had never attempted to become more than friends with any girl he made friends with. after Ugitsiha spoke, he relaxed alot and smiled when he finally knew forsure that she liked him like he liked her. he couldn't believe how childish he had been and still was over saying his feelings. " i'm glad to hear it."
"so what do we do from here?" Ugitsiha honestly had no idea what to do from here. they were from different clans and she knew Chetan would have to move clans to be with her. "are you a hundred percent sure you want to do this? you will have to move from your clan and family just to be closer to me." she wanted to make sure that he wanted to do this himself and not cause Uzulu talked him into it.
Chetan had almost completely forgot that he would have to move clans and be away from his family whom he had been around his whole life. but it was about time he got away from his comfort zone of being with family all the time. " Uzulu has nothing to do with this at all so don't worry about that. he only gave me the push to finally tell you how i felt." he attempted to reassure her and gave her a smile. he then got to his feet and moved himself so he could look her straight in the eyes. " Ugitsiha would you give me the honor of marrying you? i know its not something to take lightly but i feel like its the right move and it would make me more than happy." heart pounding, he knew it was sudden but he wanted to do more than just move clans to be around her, he wanted to settle down with her.
She was a bit shocked by his response but for whatever reason it also made her so happy. giving him a lick on the nose, she chuckled. " you big goof, of course. i feel the same as you do and if you are a hundred percent sure you want to then i am all in." she honestly couldn't believe she was agreeing to this but she felt like it was the right move. after the time she had been spending with Chetan she had known she wanted to be with someone like him. but now she knew she had wanted just to be with him. it might be puppy love but she didn't care, as she had not fallen for anyone before.
Chetan was so happy to hear her say yes to him as his heart raced like mad when we waited for her answer. " you have no idea how happy you have just made me." he wanted to jump around for joy but he settled on giving her a nuzzle. it then hit him he needed to tell his family and then actually meet Ugitsiha's family as well. which meeting her family he could only hope would go over well as he didn't know them at all.
Ugitsiha nuzzled him back with a big old grin on her face. " i can't wait for you to meet my family. and i hope i can meet your family too." she felt that her family couldn't disprove of her choice in a mate though they might say something about her falling for him so fast. " i suppose we have a lot to do now before we make it all official." she now had butterflies in her stomach but she felt like things were going to go smoothly and that she was going to have a happy life settled down with Chetan. plus she now had even more time to drill him over other things.
