It was completely dark. Well, that was only natural, considering Avani had a blindfold over her eyes. While her eyesight was terrible as it was, she wasn't exactly used to being completely deprived of her sight. However, she didn't feel afraid, or uncomfortable. Just slightly nervous.
...'slightly' may have been an understatement.
Her heart was pounding so hard, she was certain Dagda could hear it. He'd said he had a surprise in store for her for their anniversary, and had insisted on putting the blindfold on her. Now, he was carefully leading her.. somewhere. Slowly and reassuringly, he held her by the hand as they walked. She desperately tried to listen for sounds, and catch any scent that may have given her clues as to what this surprise was. Eventually she began to tremble a little from anticipation. She had always been bad at dealing with situations like this, being as skittish as she was.
"D-D-D-Da-Da-Dagda, wh-wh-where are we g-g-go-going?" she finally managed to urge him, trying to feel around with her free hand. It really wasn't like him to be so secretive and mysterious!
