Thane was exploring the far corners of Cato's territory. It was much larger than he had expected of a friend and his lone lifemate to take, but kept his comments to himself. Landing in a gap between the willow trees, resting his wings, Thane meandered south, towards the sound of water. Cato was explicit of the boarders around his land, and so it came quite a bit of shock that Thane caught the scent of not just one other. But several others. Flattening his ears and scanning the perimeter, he could see the tracks leading east. He was torn. Should he pursue alone? Or retrieve Cato first? Maybe Cato knew there were others in his land, and hadn't minded. But if he hadn't known, and did mind, he was sure Cato's short temper and flare for the battle wouldn't end well. He continued to sniff at the scent, trying to determine who might be amungst the group.
