Yeah, buying gil is totaly wrong in my opinion. It takes out the work of playing, and when someone sees a character in awesome equipmet, you really have to wonder if they are buying their gil, or if they got it fair and square like most of the people on the game.
I heard alot of people recently got banned from XI for being associated to gil selling, can anyone confirm this???

when i see it or hear of it i say one thing. somebody farmed it. so it dont matter. it all goes backt o the same place anyways. a pool of gil where the npcs put it

i don't get why people by gil when you can just camp something. i think it's stupid. Heck i had to wear lvl 10 armor till i was lvl 20 something cause i was broke but you didn't see me buying gil. I just waited till i got some gil then when i was ptying this really nice galka dude gave me 50k so i could get new armor i tried to decline but he told me to take it and it was nothing cause he had over 1 mil.

they're the biggest threat to FFXI's economy right now, because they sell Gil, for real cash (and accounts)
people who sell their accounts / buy accounts (or constantly buy/sell gil) need to be smacked, shot, whatever.
if you do it once, shame on you, but okay. you did it one time, it won't have a domino effect on the market.
twice, okay, take away you gil, slap you, and shove that shiney new great axe up your nose <3
thrice, you might as well add "aa" to your name.

They will gove you an address and when they get the real money they will give you the gil. My step-dad was checkign out the site ance and it was like 10k for $100,000. I think that's dumb too 3nodding thats completely out of focus... you can buy like... 1million gil for like 50 dollars.... maybe a little more but really, like anyone would buy gil for 10$ each...
