Route 2 is a standard forestry route going between Accumula City to the east and Striaton City to the north. The first NPC Trainers that players will encounter are here, and if you are inexperienced, it's recommended that you be cautious. Novice Trainers come here to practice with each other and meet a couple new wild Pokémon to add to their party.
In one of the corners of the route, there is a massive boulder that can only be moved with the use of the HM04 Strength. Further into the route, small obtrusive trees can be cleared with HM01 Cut.
