It also had been a long time that Tori had talked with any of her own friends but as things had happened Tori had just revered back to her old ways of her old life of being hermit-like. She was content with reading all the time with the spatter of other things in the mix, but it was her weapon that didn't like it at all now, at first it had been fun learning new thing but now he wanted his hunter to go back to training. Aklin poked and prodded a lot but right now nothing was going to get Tori to move from her spot on the bed.

After Sherry knocked on her door and asked if she was here. Sherry would first hear Tori swear a lot along with the name Aklin in there a few times as could be heard a clanking of chain. Then soon after a frustrated growl as something hard hit the wall making a loud noise.

"Yes I'm in and come on in," Tori said soon after that sounding a little frustrated. Sherry once inside the room would see lots of book, notebooks all over the room in some sorta order in the mess.

Tori smiled to see that it was Sherry, to which Tori spotted her coat and her smile got even bigger. Aklin was staying things but Tori was not listening to him right now since she was pissed at him.

"Hi, Sherry," Tori said as she got up off the bed and walked over to where Sherry was standing to give the other lifer a quick hug. "Also congrats on your promotion," she added. Chuckling slightly at what Sherry said as anytime was good in Tori's book. "Yes it is, I was umm fighting with Aklin and its a little hard sometime to argue with something that I can't slap or punch," she explained the best that she could cleaning up some of the book mess that they both could sit on the bed comfortably to talk.

"Things like that take time to sink in," Tori answered as she put the last of the books onto her desk and later she would properly put them away. Aklin on the other hand knew that could never happen.

"That is so very true and I think he likes it that way too. There have been times I have just summoned Aklin were I can just throw him on the ground but that always doesn't work," Tori said as Aklin snickered ways in her head.

"I have been alright, keeping busy with research and I sorta fell back into my old ways of keeping to myself," she answered a little sheepishly towards the end of what she said. "I know it has been and how have you been?"
