Loki tail twitched back and forth as she surveyed the memorable landscape. The grassland vegetation in this area grew to be quite tall. The rainfall in this area must be the perfect amount since the vegetation always seemed to be thriving. She nibbled on a piece of grass manly out of boredom and noted the unusual mellow taste. This area was not her home but close enough that she was somewhat familiar with the terrain. Loki’s mother Zaria was a bit of a wanderer a gene she passed on to her daughter who was often prone to taking off on long journeys.
It was a long journey that Loki was just returning from and a part of her did not want this particular journey to end. She had meet lots of unusual soq and part of her did not want to return to the humdrum of living with her herd. That was why she was just standing surveying the grasslands torn between two conflicting desires the heartache of missing family and the thrill of a new adventure.

He'd wandered for most the day it seemed, looking for anything to nibble on. As he descended he was starting to see less freeze and more green. Tempting as green was... It wasn't what he hungered for. He wanted something more. Berries, fruit.. meat.. something that wouldn't taste too close to bark.
It wasn't too long that he'd found himself with a break to the trees. Edging to the tree line, he saw that it wasn't just some small span of an opening. It was rather vast.. and grass was growing new and sweet.
Carefully, he stepped out and looked around. This could be a bad place to be if he wasn't careful. It was far too open for comfort. And any who could be hunting him, flock or otherwise... would be able to see him from a good ways off. It's hard to hide among the green when you're a bright blue an gold in coloring.

Sorry for the wait I had some home internet problems but luckily it’s all fixed.
“No more,” Loki whispered to herself. She had mused on her decisions and had noticed she was over thinking the current situation. While her father valued intelligence her mother often followed the feelings of her heart than rather than cold logic. Loki often tried to emulate her father’s logic and scientific manner but the Cerynei blood ran deep within her veins. Sometimes it was hard being a soq with two different bloodlines. She had two parts to her –one side cool intellect with desire for blood & flesh and the other side kind hearted. For Loki life was a balancing act but as she got older she was accepting herself for who she truly was.
A bird cried out overhead startling Loki out of her reprieve. Her keen eyes darted from side to side as she spotted a shadowy figure. The hair on her neck raised as she waited to see if the figure was friend or foe.
